Avery's aunt's summer camp for troubled teenagers was the last place Avery thought she was going to spend her summer. Her parents being the way that they are never allowed her out of the house.
She couldn't imagine herself doing anything remotely bad. It was the way she was raised, her life was always as boring as it gets.
Despite that, on one faithfully summer night, she found herself sneaking out of her house with her British neighbor who she had only met that morning which didn't end as she hoped. Next thing she knows, she's on a nine hour flight across the world to Europe and inevitably summer camp.
There she makes more enemies than friends, gets a few fights more than necessary, rooms with Satan's spawn, spends a couple of nights in a confinement cell, and among other things, meets a pretty interesting guy.
When she least expects it, her whole life begins to crumble before her, disregarding everything she thought she knew and leaves her stuck between a rock and a hard place.
It was bound to be tragic.
