You opened one eye to see your alarm clock ringing, you growled at the loud device and grabbed it and threw it out the window. It took you a few seconds to realize what happened, you immediately shot up and ran to your window to only see your alarm, broken of course, and in Shoyo's backyard. Sighing you went to your bedside table and texted him

Hey shoyo, just to let you know if you find a broken alarm clock in your backyard bring it back to my house. (￣∀￣)
After you texted him you grabbed your sports shorts and jacket and went to the bathroom to take a shower and change. Today's jog will be a little different because your dad will not joining you because he is very tired, I kind of felt sad but you brushed it off trying hard to not make yourself depressed.
'You know what, its gonna be totally fine! I mean what's better than a nice and s-silent jog in the morning' you thought as you headed out of the bathroom
After changing, you went downstairs and made you and your dads lunches for the day. You left the house and started to jog on your normal route. A few minutes of your jogging passed by when you all of a sudden bump into someone
"O-oh sorry- oh hey kageyama!" You looked up and it was kageyama of all people, he was wearing some sports clothes and was also listening to music while sweating
'Damn he looks hot' you thought to your self but immediately shook it out of your head
"Hey, what are you down here this early?" He asked
"The same reason as you, I usually jog in the morning before practice. I normally go with my dad but today he was being a pussy and told me he was tired, so it's just me today" he just nodded and was about to leave but you stopped him
"D-Do you mind if I jog with you? I am kinda lonely so" you said to him, he just nodded and started jogging and to which you followed.
It was silence for a few minutes till he broke it. "I never got to ask you what position you play in" you looked at him and gave him a closed eye smile before responding
"Oh I actually can play two positions, I usually play as either a wing spiker or a setter but I can do both too if the situation calls for it" you said, when you said setter you could see that his ears perked up. After that you two just had some small talk till he asked about your father and how was he like
"Well other than volleyball he is a total mess" you chuckled at the statement "usually my dad works a lot and usually never gets some sleep" while you said that kageyama started to look at you "one thing you wouldn't know about him is that he loves cleaning, when ever I come back home I will usually see him cleaning the house somewhere" you continue to tell him and when you pulled out your phone and saw the time your eye widened.
"O-oh sorry Kageyama, I have to cut it short, I have to go back home and take a shower! See you in practice, and don't forget that I will show you that I can beat that sorry ass of yours!" You screamed out to him while you started to run back home, but what you didn't know was that you actually made the little crow genuinely smile.

You arrived earlier than expected, when entering the gym the only people that was actually early was Kageyama, Suga, Ennoshita, and Asahi
'Looks like they are warming up, I better start too' you thought to yourself as you started to walk in. You were greeted by everyone and was about to stretch when you hear Sugawara calling you over for something.
"Mornin' Suga!" You exclaimed
"Morning (y/n), my mom wanted to give your dad something that belonged to auntie Izumi do you mind giving it to him when you get back home" he said to you with a small pink box that looked pretty old, you stared at it for a few seconds and took it; telling him you will be giving it, walking over to the benches, you placed the box in your bag.
You started to stretch with the group and had small talk with Asahi, turns out that he is very timid and shy, and that was very unexpected to you because he looked like this kind of thug you would say.
After about 15 minutes went by and mostly everyone came except a little orange haired boy. You sighed because you knew that whenever Hinata was nervous he would always run late especially since the team will be playing against your dad. You grabbed your phone and called Hinata to make sure that he was alright and that he didn't have an accident or anything serious

(Y/n): Hello!
Hinata:H...hey.. (y/n) (while panting)
(Y/n): WHERE ARE YOU HINTA, THE MATCH IS ABOUT TO START AND NOT TO METION YOU NEED TO STRETCH (you said while screaming through the phone)
Hinata: sorry... I ran... late.. so... I ....amm ... running to school
With that said he hung up. You growled and shoved your phone back in your bag.
"So where is that dumbass?" Kageyama said to you
"Well that idiot overslept and he will be here in..." like it was magic hinata barged in looking like he just escaped a zombie apocalypse.
"Sorry...I....am....lateeeee!!!" said hinata while panting because of him running for so long.
"Oi dumbass go and change before I kick your ass" when Kageyama said that Hinata just gave him a glare and went to go change.
A few minute go by and still Coach Ukai still hasn't come yet, even Shoyo finished his stretching: but he still hasn't come yet. Everyone started to get worried that he will be late, but like Shoyo he finally arrived and had a big old smirk plastered all over his face.
"Hey guys sorry for being late I had to get your opponents, Um.. The team Neighborhood Association is here!" He said signaling them to come in
3 men came in that you knew very well, but you noticed that your dad wasn't with them which made you confused
"Hey Coach Ukai where's dad?" you said tilling your head in confusion but what you didn't know was that he suddenly was right behind you
"Look for me" you heard a familiar voice behind you, you were so surprised that you didn't even notice but you immediately turned and was about to punch the unknown man but was immediately stopped
"Looks like you did miss me" immediately you recognized that monotone voice and removed your had from his palm
"Well you do know that I don't like being sneaked up on, dad" you said to him while sticking out your tongue at him
"Just to let you know that I always do this and for some reason you still don't catch on" he said while ruffing your hair that you neatly tied it up in a ponytail.
Your dad went to the team and stood next to Ukai to be introduced.
"Alright team this will be your opponents, Hidenori Uchizawa, Makoto Shimada, Yukinari Mori, Yūsuke Takinoue and finally Levi (l/n) Ackerman." You rolled your eyes when he said your dads name which made him glare at you, you and him love to tease each other but sometimes you two get in each other's nerves.
What you didn't notice was that all of the team had sparkles in there eyes because you guessed it, because your dad was there.
"Well I can see that everyone knows Levi over there" he smacked his back which made him glare at him instead "Well Levi why don't you tell the team some of your inspiring words" he looked at him giving him a playful smirk
"Well all I need to tell you is that try not to mess up brats" he said to them which made them tense up because of how brutal he said it
"What he is trying to say is that to try your best and to try not to mess up" you said trying to clear up their frighten looks, which actually did.
"Okay everyone, so what I want to do is I would like to change up some of the positions so that I can see is miss (l/n) over-here is qualified to be in the team" coach Ukai said while holding up a white board to show the formation
"What will change in the line up is that Tanaka will be switching with (l/n) every set" said Ukai
"And with that said let's start to match!" Said Ukai, which made everyone get into the court.
A/n: hey guys!! Sorry for not making the match in this chapter, I wanted to let you have some time with Kageyama ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) but I promise that the next chapter (part 3) will be focusing on the match. The match will have the same dialogue because I am basically copying the script but I will be adding some parts to it of course!
