Katrine sighed, studying her room. The walls remained her favorite colors; black and lavender. Years later, they were still her favorite colors.

Klaus appeared in her doorway. 'I don't want to talk to Dad.'

"You have to." Katrine said.

Klaus frowned at her. "Stop reading my mind. I can't talk to Dad."

"Because you're not sober. You should really try to get sober. Who knows; maybe dear old Dad will have something useful to say."

He grabbed her wrist and led her down to the bar. Katrine instantly grabbed a glass of whisky and Klaus set the urn down.

He stood across from the bar and mockingly bowed. "To communicate with the dead, I might think about, I don't know. I don't know...manifesting!" He then placed his hands on his hips as though he was disciplining a child. "Do the big whole angry ghost lecture."

Klaus then held up his hands and mockingly prayed. "Tell everyone who done it and find eternal peace."

He ran a hand down his face. "Just need to sober up."

He looked at Katrine as she sipped her glass of whisky. She shook her head. "Oh, no you don't."

Instead of listening to her, Klaus reached for a glass and knocked the urn over. His hands immediately went up to his face and his eyes widened.

Katrine immediately grabbed the urn and brushed the ash in. "Don't worry. It's really quite fitting. Dad's rolling in his grave."

Klaus rolled another joint and started smoking it. He offered it to Katrine, and denied it. As much as she wanted one, to dull the thoughts, she couldn't. She had a reputation to maintain as a deputy.

Klaus made his way to the kitchen while Katrine stayed in the family room. Diego soon appeared and peeked outside before closing the doors. He smiled when he saw Katrine.

"Children behave. That's what they say when we're together." ♪

Diego took Katrine's hand and spun her around before dancing himself.

"And watch how you play. The don't understand and so we're running just as fast as we can."

Diego started doing the fishing pole move while Katrine did the disco move.

"Holdin' on to one another's hand."

Katrine danced around the couch like a ballerina while Diego continued his 80s dance moves.

"Tryin' to get away into the night, and then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground and then you say-"

Once again, Diego took his sister's hand and danced with her.

"I think we're alone now. The beating of our hearts is the only sound."

Diego resumed his fishing pole move and Katrine started doing silly dance moves.

"Look at the way, we gotta hide what we're doin'. Cause what would they say, if they ever knew and so we're running just as fast as we can. Holdin' onto one another's hand. Tryin' to get away into the night and then you put your arms around me and we tumble to the ground and then you say, I think we're alone now. There doesn't seem to be anyone around..."

The song continued blasting through the halls and the siblings continued dancing. Lightning struck and the music cut out. The lights shut off. Diego grabbed Katrine's hand and they ran outside, soon joined by their brothers and sisters. Outside, she noticed a blue fluctuating mass.

Klaus appeared after everyone else, carrying a fire extinguisher. "Out of the way!" He cried, running past them. He proceeded to throw the fire extinguisher into the blue mass.

"What is that gonna do?!" Allison cried.

Klaus shrugged. "I don't know. Do you have a better idea?"

The energy mass continued to crackle and grew in size. Luther stood in front of his siblings and held out his arms. "Whoa, whoa, whoa. Everyone get behind me."

"Yeah, get behind us." Diego added.

Katrine gripped Diego's wrist as she stared at the mass. Klaus said, "I vote for running. Come on."

She squinted as she stared at the blue mass. She noticed an older man trying to reach out to them.

The thunder sounded louder and ceased when the figure fell from the blue mass. As soon as it dissipated, Katrine saw a boy in a suit.

Katrine sucked in a breath as everyone stepped closer to the boy. He picked himself up and stared at the shocked faces his siblings were giving him. "Does anyone else see little Number Five or is that just me?" Klaus wondered.

Five continued to stare at them and he looked down at his baggy clothes and back up at his siblings. "Shit."

The siblings walked to the kitchen and Five grabbed a breadboard and placed it on the table. While he walked over to the fridge, Katrine sat next to Klaus on the table. "What's the date? The exact date?"

"March 24th." Katrine replied. "Is it of concern?"

Five gave her a small smile. "Good. Yes, it is. Did you ever become an officer?"

Katrine nodded. "Deputy."

Luther frowned between them. "So, are we gonna talk about what just happened?" Five remained silent. "It's been 17 years."

Five scoffed. "It's been a lot longer than that."

He spatial jumped through Luther to get to the cupboard and Luther frowned. "I haven't missed that."

"Where'd you go?" Diego asked rudely.

"The future." Five replied. "It's shit, by the way." He jumped back over to work on his sandwich and looked up at Katrine. "You want one? Last I remember, they were your favorite."

Katrine nodded and smiled. "Thanks."

Five gave her a nod as Klaus raised his arm. "Called it!"

"I should've listened to the old man. Y'know, jumping through space is one thing. Jumping through time is a toss of the dice." He focused on the sandwiches and looked up at Klaus. "Nice dress."

Klaus smiled and twirled the skirt. "Oh, well, danke."

From the side of the table, Vanya said, "Wait. How did you get back?"

Five frowned. "In the end, I had to project my consciousness forward into a suspended quantum state version of myself that exists across every possible instance of time."

Each of the siblings was giving a confused look. Diego voiced his confusion. "That makes no sense."

Five narrowed his eyes at his brother. "Well, it would if you were smarter."

"How long were you there?"

"Forty-five years. Give or take."

Luther sat down while Katrine stretched her legs out. Luther then asked, "What are you saying? That you're 58?"

Five scoffed. "No, my consciousness is 58. Apparently my body is now 13 again." He took a bite of his sandwich and offered the other to Katrine. "You still like fluff and peanut butter, right?"

"You remembered." Katrine said with a smile.

"I never forgot."

Vanya frowned. "Wait. How does that even work?"

Five moved from the table. "Dolores kept saying the equations were off. Eh." He took another bite from his sandwich. "Bet she's laughing now."

Vanya furrowed her brows. "Dolores?"

Five remained silent and picked up a newspaper. "Guess I missed the funeral."

"How'd you know about that?" Luther wondered.

Katrine rolled her eyes. "It's called the future. It's not that hard to grasp."

Luther frowned at her as Five said, "Heart failure, huh?"

"Uh-huh." Diego answered.

"No." Luther replied at the same time.

Katrine sighed. Even now, the two of them competed for number one.

Five didn't seem to care; he just clicked his tongue. "See? Nothing's changed."

He started walking away and Allison turned to him. "Uh, that's it? That's all you have to say?"

"What else is there to say? The circle of life?" Five questioned sarcastically as he left.

The siblings shared a silent look and Luther huffed. "Well. That was interesting."

Katrine ran after Five and hugged him. Five returned her hug. She was the only one who was able to hug him. "I missed you, Kat."

"I missed you too. The worst day of my life was when you disappeared. The second worst was when Ben passed."

"Well, I'm back, so you don't have to worry. Okay?"

She nodded and hugged her brother again. After a moment, Five sighed. "We should be heading out back for the memorial."

"Don't remind me."
