Your P.O.V.

No... No, no, no, no. It can't be true! The realisation of what just happened haven't fully hit you yet. That was why you just obeyed and were led by an Executioner to... your death.

No, it can't happen. It won't happen. You are smart. You have to figure a way to get out of this horrible situation. Especially now, when Newt and Tina are sentenced to death, too. You can't let Newt die. You care and love him too much to let that happen. And you can't die yourself. Who will take care of your and Newt's creatures if you were gone? No one, that's the answer.

You have to keep your promise. You promised your creatures that you would always take care of them. And you failed. You owe them now. They are innocent, they have done nothing wrong. And now, Merlin knows what MACUSA has done to them.

Right now, you, Newt and Tina were led out of the corridor and one floor down. Tina was in the front, Newt and you behind her.

A few moments later you found yourself inside a thin, long black metallic corridor. Looking further you saw a single door in the end of the corridor. A guard was standing beside it. From what you could see, behind the door was a pure white room, or more like a cell.

When you were forced to walk into the cell, you could take a closer look at it. The walls in there where bright white, but in some way dirty. The ceiling was quite high, with huge square metal pipes attached to it. Right above you, was some short of balcony. The cell also contained a big square pool filled with silver rippling potion, a chair magically suspended over it.

As soon as you were inside the cell, a guard stood at the door, blocking the exit.

"Don't do this... Bernadette... please..." Tina said to the Executioner who led her inside.

"It don't hurt."

At those words you nervously glanced at Newt, thinking of a way to escape. He glanced at you too, clearly wanting to say something, but stopping himself.

Meanwhile, Tina was led to the edge of the pool. She began to panic, her breath heavy and erratic. She turned around to look at the door, seeking for a way out. But the sight of a guard and you and Newt chained up, made what was left of her hope die.

The smiling Executioner named Bernadette, raised her wand to Tina's temple and carefully extracted Tina's happy memories from her head. Immediately, Tina instantly calmed down, her expression now vacant, like her mind was in another world.

Bernadette casted the memories into the potion, which rippled, coming alive with scenes from Tina's life.

On the surface of the potion you saw a young Tina smiling up as her mother called her.

"Tina... Tina... Come on, pumpkin, time for bed. Are you ready?" Tina's mother said softly.

It made you feel bad for Tina and Queenie, knowing that their parent had died when they were kids. And it made you feel sad yourself, becouse you haven't seen your parents in quite a few years. Of course, you sent letters to eachother, but it was just not the same as when you see them in person. But the reason you haven't seen them in a while, was becouse you did not want to stumble across Newt in England because you were sure that he was with Leta, and now that you know that he wasn't, you can visit your parents. If you get alive out of this, though.

"Momma..." Tina whispered.

Tina's Mother appeared in the pool, her expression was loving and calm. The real Tina was standing on the edge of the pool watching and smiling down.

"Don't that look good. You wanna get in? Huh?" Bernadette asked Tina.

In responce, Tina nodded vacantly.

The chair floated closer to the edge of the pool and Tina willingly sat down on it. When she was securely sitting on it, the chair floated back on its place in the middle of the pool. Tina gazed down, beneath her swirled happy images of her family, her parents, and young Queenie.

Suddenly, a brilliant idea popped into your mind. You can get out of here. You will get out of here, alive. You have mastered Wandless Magic when you were still at Hogwarts, so now it shouldn't be a bother. But, you haven't used it in a while. However, what you need to do is quite simple. You just have to open the lock on one of the cuffs on your wrists. You just need to wait for the right moment to do it.

Suddenly, the image of Tina's memories changed from her family to her. In the memory, Tina walked inside the Second Salem Church and up the stairs. She found a woman who is quite easy to recognise, Mary Lou Barebone, standing over Credence, belt in hand. Credence looked terrified. In anger, Tina casted a spell, striking Mary Lou. Then Tina moved forward to comfort Credence.

"It's okay." She said softly to the boy.

The real Tina, who was sitting on the execution chair, still gazed into the pool, smiling wistfully.

Quickly, not turning your head, you looked at Newt, who glanced quickly down his own arm. You followed his gaze and noticed that Pickett was clambering, quiet and agile, towards the handcuffs holding Newt's hands.

This was the right moment you were waiting for. You noticed that all of the Executioners and the guard were looking at Tina's memories in the pool. Using this distraction you concentrated and tried to unlock the handcuff on your left wrist. After a few moments, you heard a quiet click and felt the handcuffs loosen around your wrist, but still on place, looking like it was locked.

You glanced back at Pickett as he finished unlocking the handcuffs holding Newt's wrists, and quickly climbed onto the coat of the Executioner, who was standing behind Newt.

"Okay, lets get the good stuff out of you..." The woman said to Newt.

She raised her wand to Newt's forehead. Newt seized his opportunity, he jumped backwards out of the way before revealing the Swooping Evil hanging on his fingers, which he throws forwards towards the pool. He then swiftly turned and punched the guard, knocking him out cold.

Quite amazed, you remembered your plan. Quickly and unexpectadly for the Executioner behind you, you turned and used the heavy handcuffs that were attached to your right wrist, to knock her out. Then you took the handcuffs off completely and dropped them on the ground.

Meanwhile, the Swooping Evil has now expanded into a gigantic, spooky but weirdly beautiful butterfly-esque reptile with skeletal wings. It continued to circle round and round the pool.

Pickett clambered onto the Executioner's arm and bit, startling and distracting her, giving Newt time to grab her arms and take aim with her wand. A spell fired, hitting Bernadette, who dropped to the floor, her wand falling into the pool. As it fell, the liquid rised up in vicous black bubbles, instantly engulfing the wand.

In reaction, Tina's memories turned from good to bad. Mary Lou Barebone apeared in the pool once again, pointing aggressively at Tina.

"Witch!" She said.

Tina, who was still enraptured by the pool, looked increasingly terrified. Her chair began to lower closer and closer to the liquid.

Meanwhile, the Swooping Evil glided across the room, knocking the last Executioner to the ground.

Suddealy, Tina snapped out of her reverie and screamed.

"MR. SCAMANDER!"

The liquid has now turned into a black bubbling death potion. It rised up, surrounding Tina on her chair. She stood up to get away, almost falling off in her haste. Tina tried desperately to gain her balance.

"Don't panic!" Newt said to her.

"What do you suggest I do instead?" Tina asked.

Then Newt made a strange tutting sound, commanding to the Swooping Evil to circle the pool once more.

"Jump..." Newt said.

Tina looked at the Swooping Evil fearfully, disbelieving.

"Are you crazy?"

"Jump on him." You said while coming closer to the edge of the pool.

You and Newt stood on the edge of the pool watching the Swooping Evil as it circled round and round Tina.

"Tina, listen to me. I'll catch you. Tina!" Newt said in a very calm manner.

Tina and Newt made intense eye contact. Newt was trying to reassure her. And it hurt you, for some reason.

The liquid has now risen up in waves to Tina's full height. She was loosing sight of you and Newt. And you were loosing sight of her.

"We'll catch you. We've got you Tina..." You said insistent, very calm.

Suddenly, Newt cried out.

"Go!"

Tina jumped in between two of the waves, just as the Swooping Evil passed. She landed on its back, only inches away from the swirling liquid. Then she hopped quickly forwards, straight into Newt's open arms.

You were standing there, beside Newt, ready to catch Tina. But she jumped into Newt's arms and hung on him for her dear life. At first, you did not mind it, because you thought that Tina just thought that Newt was stronger than you.

Newt's back was now turned to you, making it unable to see his face. But for a split second, you saw Tina gaze at Newt. She gazed at him as if she... No. It can't be true, can it? But you haven't seen Newt's face expression. Quickly, Newt let go of Tina and raised his hand, recalling the Swooping Evil, which folded into a cocoon once more.

"Come on!" Newt said.

But what happend next made you shocked. Newt grabbed your hand and headed for the exit. Tina following suit.

You, blushing, you did not know that but Newt also blushing, hand in hand, charged through the basement corridors. Suddenly, the three of you were accosted by the group of Aurors. Tina did not have time to stop, so you and Newt quickly pulled her back, darting behind pillars, just missing the fired curses and spells.

Newt again, sent out the Swooping Evil, which swirled overhead, flying in and out of pillars, blocking curses and knocking Aurors to the ground.

You and Newt, hands intervened, ran through the basement with your similar strange way of running. Tina, who was behind the two of you, watched you run while realising that you were so much alike. But the sight of you holding hands hurt her.

Suddenly, you spotted the Swooping Evil using its proboscis to probe in one of the Auror's ears.

"LEAVE HIS BRAINS. Come on! Come on!" Newt said while making a clicking sound.

You, Newt and Tina ran onwards, the Swooping Evil flying after, blocking curses as it goes.

"What is that thing?" Tina asked trying to make her presence known to Newt.

"Swooping Evil."

"Well, I love it!"

You, Newt and Tina sprinted round the corner and almost collided with Queenie and Jacob! Oh, how happy you were to see them! Quickly you and Newt let go of eachother hands. The five of you stared at one another, panic on all your faces.

Finally Queenie gestured to Newt's case that was in her hand.

"Get in!" She said.

And so you, Newt Tina and Jacob got inside and were able to let out the breath you were holding.
