While we were eating I watched Hyakkimaru...
He has bags under his eyes..
He didn't sleep at all didn't he..
I sighed and put my food down.
After we ate we went back.
We sat at the open door and looked at the little pond we bathed in..
" I won't let the demons be free.."
I groaned and looked up at Hyakkimaru.
His eyes are so dark...he needs sleep..
" well..I'm gonna go and talk to the villagers.. I want to know more about the orphanage..what will you do bro?
Hyakkimaru looked out in the distance and said.
" I will watch sabame.."
I instantly said.
" no.no..your gonna get some sleep.."
I grabbed Hyakkimaru and he said.
" what?"
And dororo said.
" well..be careful you two.."
And she left.
I yelled out.
" stay outta trouble!!"
And walked Hyakkimaru in.
He just watched me shocked.
I sat on the ground and Hyakkimaru looked down at me.
I patted my lap and said.
" lay.."
He said.
" no, sabame..and demons.."
I frowned and grabbed his hand and pulled him down.
He fell down and I sighed.
" I'm sorry..I just don't like to see you killing yourself like this...it's like...killing demons is all you can think about...you need rest.."
Hyakkimaru looked up at me in my lap and held my face.
He flinched when he felt water hit his face..
But he heard nothing.
" (y/n)..are you sad?"
I felt him rub my eyes and he realized.
" I'm sorry...I care for you and dororo..just please...for a little bit rest."
He watched me and I felt him pull down my face to him.
He kissed me and said.
" fine."
I smiled and rubbed his hair. He turned sideways and closed his eyes.
I looked down at him.
Oh gramps what do I do...do I stay with Hyakkimaru..
Or..do I go with tahomaru..
I sighed.
I woke up.
I instantly sat up.
" Hyakkimaru!!"
I got up and ran out..damn it why did I fall asleep! I noticed the village...it's burning!
I looked straight ahead and ran.
Hyakkimaru when I meet up with you..

Naw.
I can't hurt him..
I ran into the woods and noticed a body..
Oh wait!
That's Hyakkimaru!
I ran to him and said.
" you idiot! Why did you leave me! "
He was unconscious.
I touched his neck to see for a heartbeat.
He's alive..
Why. Why did he leave me..idiot.
Then I heard dororo.
I looked and felt Hyakkimaru get up.
" bro! sis! It was the villagers that burnt down the orphanage..I got pushed down a trapped door.
Then those bugs came after me. But then that big baby came and saved me..
That baby turned out to be the ghost of the children.."
I listened and smiled. I knew he was good..
" hey are you listening.."
Hyakkimaru said.
" yeah.."
I closed my eyes and frowned.
Right now I'm really irritated by him.
Dororo noticed the tension and said a few more things about the moth being near the lake. Then said.
" oh. What happened between you two.."
I stood up and said.
" nothing to worry about..let's just g-"
" the lake?"
I looked at Hyakkimaru.
Are you for real?
Dororo said.
" yeah..that's what the baby said."
Hyakkimaru stood up and jumped away.
" Hyakkimaru! Get back here!"
But he was gone leaving me again.
I started to cry.
" sis what happened!"
So me and dororo walked to the shore where Hyakkimaru was fighting the moth demon.
Me and dororo sat.
" sis what is really wrong.."
I clenched my teeth and said.
" all he thinks about is killing demons...it's like he doesn't care what happens around him...I know he protects us and cares for us...but what about others..and when demons show up let's be honest...he doesn't care what happens around him...at least he gets to kill a demon...like earlier today with the baby..he never even helped..he just knew it wasn't a demon and forgot about it.."
Dororo nodded agreeing with me.. I saw she looked down sad.
I realized my mistake and rubbed her back.
" forgive me I...I don't mean to sound mean...I guess he just scared me when he left..that's all...you know how I feel about him..I don't want him hurt..like you do."
Dororo looked up and said.
" your right..(y/n)"
We watched Hyakkimaru kill the demon and came back to shore.
He fell on the ground and his spine popped out.
Oh look..he got another part back...
Me and dororo watched him.
I gave Hyakkimaru a stick and helped him up.
He walked in front of us and we walked through the burnt village..
I looked around and saw kids crying.
I saw some burnt bodies and clenched my heart..
It brought back some memories..
Awful ones..
" bro do you think what we did was wrong..this happened because we came right.."
I watched a child hold her burnt Mother's hand..
And I heard Hyakkimaru say.
" not my concern.."
I stopped and looked at him.
Gramps..like always...I hate it when you're right..
Hyakkimaru turning less human.
" Hyakkimaru...say something...say something that's not about demons.."
Hyakkimaru stopped and side looked at me..
I was mad...but mostly sad..he was different..I couldn't help but cry..
" let's go..."
He just said that and kept walking..
I was hurt..
We walked through this wheat field and I stopped.
Hyakkimaru turned around with dororo and I said.
" I'm..going to stay with tahomaru for awhile..."
Hyakkimaru turned around shocked.
He still looked tired...did he fake sleep with me..and waited for me to fall asleep.
Dororo turned and said.
" oh..if you choose to do that..I'll see you soon then.."
Hyakkimaru looked at dororo then me.
I knew dororo was gonna leave too..
She pulled me aside and said so.
I turned to leave but heard.
" wait..why.."
I saw Hyakkimaru and he gripped my forearm.
I frowned sadly at him and he flinched..
He can't see me..so what did he see.
" I'll return..I just need time.."
He growled and gripped my arms.
" don't go to him!"
I yanked out his arms and said.
" I'm sorry.."
And I walked off.. I saw around the towns we visited to get here I heard talk about tahomaru being around here for awhile..
" bro.."
He turned around and glared while he walked..
" I'll take it all back.."
Dororo sighed and she waited till Hyakkimaru was far enough for her to leave.
I walked for awhile.. but finally ended up getting a ride to daigos land.
" so..you really are his fiancé...sorry I didn't recognize you lady (y/n).."
I put my hand up nervously and said.
" please..it's alright.."
We make it to the entrance and I got off.
I walked in and heard sword clings and followed them..
" can't tell distance yet?"
" no not yet..lets go again.."
That's mutsu and tahomaru.. I walked in and all three of them were practicing.
" take it easy n- (y/n)?!"
Tahomaru looked at hyogo strange..
Mutsu looked up and said.
" lady.."
Tahomaru turned around and looked shocked.
I guess I looked like a mess.. my robe dirty and my eyes swollen from crying.
Tahomaru dropped his sword and I said.
" t-taho.."
I ran at him and hugged his neck.
I started to cry. Tahomaru hugged me back and brought me to the ground hugging me.
" (y/n) are you ok?!"
Hyogo and mutsu looked at me with concern.
I just gripped tahomarus robe tighter and shook my head..
He picked me up bridal style and said.
" I'll be in my room..don't let anyone disturb us.."
He walked with me and went into his room.
He sat me down and got some water.
I calmed down and had my drink.
He cupped my cheek and said.
" I'm happy you came to me.."
He kissed my forehead and said.
" tell me...what's troubling you.."
He sat down in front of me.
He propped his arm on his knee and waited.
I looked at him and said.
" it's..you know him..he just.. I don't know..I'm worried.."
Tahomaru glared at that.
He knew him..
" don't worry about "him".."
He pulled me onto him. I looked up at him.
" you're here now...with me..where you belong.."
I reached up and he watched my hands confused.
I touched his hurt eye softly and said.
" I'm sorry..I wish I could have helped you.."
He smiled and cupped my face.
I tensed up and he kissed me on the lips..
It was soft..
He pulled away and said.
" don't be..let's get you a bath and new clothes.."
I blushed and nodded.
He held his hand out and I accepted it.
He brought me to a place where it had a makeshift waterfall and a pond. It was beautiful.
He brought out a robe that looked just like his.
" here. They made this one too small for me.."
I smiled and he gave it to me.
" thank you.."
He nodded.
I then started to strip.
" h-h-Hey! (Y/n)!"
Crap I forgot he can see!
" sorry force of habit...you see they were blind."
He figured it out and said.
" you bathed with him.."
I panicked and hid my front turning around.
" oh..uh...yeah..."
He tsked and started to take his clothes off.
I blushed.
" hey! Uh..."
" what...I'm your fiancé...you need to get used to me naked.."
He said with a smirk..
Omg..this guy.
In the end we bathed together.
I covered myself embarrassed!
Hyakkimaru couldn't see..but I know for a fact now tahomaru can see.
" hey..come closer.."
He pulled me into his chest. I blushed and looked away.
" your face haunts me you know...the way you looked at me when me and Hyakkimaru fought..but you know... I have too right...one life can't be spared for thousands.."
I looked at him and he watched me..
" let's..not talk about this...ok."
" ok...forgive me.."
I looked at him and told him to turn around and let me go behind him.
He was confused but listened.
I made him go more under the water a bit and he looked up at me.
We locked eyes and I blushed.
" I'm gonna..wash your hair.."
I rubbed his hair and he said.
" I never let anyone touch my hair..but for some reason..your touch is so relaxing...I'm glad I could share this moment with you.."
I smiled.
He looked up and said.
" but.. I am the man.."
He got back up and leaned towards my face.
" I should be the one giving you pleasure.."
He kissed me. Then he pulled me closer and kissed me harder. His hands moved down But got interrupted by mutsu.
" wo..sorry to disturb..but my lady is up.."
Tahomaru pulled away from me and covered me..
" thank you mutsu..you may leave.."
She left and me and tahomaru got out.
I put on the robe he got me and headed back out.
I looked up at the sky..
I wonder if Hyakkimaru would be ok on his own for awhile..
I wonder what's he doing...
