"IM DONE" I yelled as I put my slides on and walked towards nicks door.
"Wtf you mean you done" he said and put his hand on the door before I could open it.
"IM DONE WITH YOU" I said and pushed him.
He tripped and fell against the wall giving me enough time to run out of the room and leave.
I got in my moms car parked outside his house and quickly sped off as he ran outside.
I cried the whole way home.
AT THE HOUSE
"Hey honey" my mom said as I entered the house and put the keys on the counter.
I waved and silently walked up to my room and slammed the door.
A new text would come in from nick every two seconds.
Stuff like I'm sorry, I miss you, I'm coming over.
Nick would constantly get high with his friends and flirt with other girls FOR MONTHS.
I let it happen cause I was insecure and felt like I needed him.
No more.
CURRENT DAY

I woke up and stretched.
The sun shined into my room through my window as I got out of bed and walked to my closet.
It was a normal day, except it was Valentine's Day.
I never really celebrated Valentine's Day since I broke up with he who must not be named.
Especially since we broke up on Valentine's Day. I just stayed alone on this day and watched corny romance movies with my friends.
I searched through my closet for the perfect outfit and walked to my bathroom.
I took a shower and did my hygiene before I grabbed my phone and walked to my balcony.
I decided why not post on my Instagram I looked too good to just sit in bed.

My post quickly started getting attention but one comment in particular caught my eye.
I blinked about 20 times trying to make sure I was seeing correctly.
Why was nahmir liking and commenting on my pictures.
And was he stalking me? I just posed this like 6 minutes ago.
All of a sudden I got a text.
I immediately knew it was nick because who else would have that contact name.
I took a long time deciding if I wanted to text back but I came to the conclusion if I didn't answer he would just show up outside my house like always.
I rolled my eyes and put my phone down on the table on the balcony.
I sat back in my sunchair and closed my eyes, until my phone buzzed again.
When I saw the text my heart stopped and I looked around outside of my hosue.
"wtf" I said under my breath and stared at my surroundings.
I was starting to get creeped out so I walked downstairs and hesitantly opened my front door.
Once I opened it and saw nick on the driveway in front of my house sitting on a car.
I walked over to him and crossed my arms.
"nick why are you here and who's car are you on get up" I said and tugged at his arm.
He laughed and got up.
He was so close to me his chest almost completely on me.
"its yours" he said and took some keys out of his back pocket.
"what no" I pushed him away and stepped away from him and the car.
"why not" he said and leaned back on the car.
"i Dont need my ex giving me gifts" I said and mean mugged him.
"then I Dont have to be your ex anymore" he looked up at me and smirked.
I just stared at him with my arms crossed.
"look you still mean a lot to me shorty, I'm taking care of you and your moms keeping you two in a nice neighborhood and a big house already" he said and threw the keys to me.
"but I never asked for my ex to buy me a house and nice things YOU CHOOSE TO" I said and tossed the keys back to him.
"tiffany yo stop fucking playing with me" he got up off the car and walked towards me.
I backed up but he grabbed my wrist and kept me close to him.
"let me take care of you" he said and looked deep into my eyes.
"why should I nick" I said and scoffed at him
"Look I'm sorry ok I hurt you and made you feel like I didn't care, but I promise I did. You gave me the best years of my fucking life and cared about me more than any of these hoes ever had or will" he said and looked down.
"If you won't take me back at least let me continue to take care of you and your family. Anything you need I got you" he said and looked back at me.
It felt and sounded so genuine.
I've wanted to forgive nick and try again for so long, but I was scared.
I just Dont want to be hurt again.
Even since we broke up Nick bought me and my mom this huge house and helped with any bills and stuff we had.
He's taken care of me even when we went through our toughest times.
"okay" I said and looked down at my hands.
"ight then" he said
He put the keys in my hand along with a piece of folded paper and kissed me on the forehead.
He started to slowly walk to his car.
"NAHMIR WAIT" I yelled and looked at him.
"wassup" he said and turned around.
"You wanna come inside" I said and pointed to the house.
He smiled and walked back towards me.
"i knew you would come to yo senses" he said and laughed
"whatever nick" I said and we walked into the house.

It had been a year since me and nick got back together.
Not only had things been going well and he's actually grown so much, but I'm 7 months pregnant.
Nicks been working extra hard lately to make sure me, our baby, and my mom stay taken care of.
Everything's been going great I couldn't ask for a better boyfriend.
I heard the front door open and nick walked in the house with groceries.
"Hey babe" I said and walked over to him.
"Hey mamas" he said and kissed me
He put the groceries down and kneeled down in front of me.
"And how is my little princess doing" he said before he kissed my stomach and rubbed it slowly.
"Apparently angry at me she won't stop kicking" I said and laughed.
"Lil mama ready to come home" he said and smiled at me.
He got up and hugged me tight.
His touch made me feel so safe.
"I love you" i said and held on to him tightly.
"I love you too ma" he said and kissed my forehead.
Maybe people do change.
