We were sleeping in a cave and I felt Hyakkimaru become restless.
I woke up to see him standing at the entrance.
" what's wrong?"
Ever since we left he hasn't been sleeping and has been over working himself killing demons.
I walked up to him and he didn't notice me. He's been in his own world these past few days.
Probably because he's exhausting himself..
" the demons.."
I sighed and said.
" they can wait..you need to sleep.."
Dororo then woke up and said.
" ugh..you two..get some sleep already!"
It's true with Hyakkimaru always wanting me to be close my sleep schedule is forced to follow his..
Hyakkimaru grabbed my hand and we suddenly started walking.
" wait, dororo.."
But then a yelling Dororo came after us..
Dororo is a growing kid. She needs the most rest out of us all..
I just feel bad.
So here we are again going on a journey with 3hrs of sleep..
" so why didn't you get any body parts back when you fought banmon?"
Hyakkimaru didn't say anything besides.
" I'll search and kill till I get it back.."
I looked at Hyakkimaru and tried to keep up with his walk speed..
But my feet hurts and tiredness is fighting me. I'm just fighting to stay Conscious.
I watched as dororo gave Hyakkimaru the speech I been saying to him in my head for these past days. This made him stop for a bit. But then Hyakkimaru just pushed past dororo making her fall.
I growled and said yanking my hand out of his.
" Hyakkimaru you're being to much.."
I bent down to help dororo up..
What ever she was thinking I could see some tears stain her eyes.
Hyakkimaru just stopped and looked at me. Even though he's so forceful with killing these demons he still wants me close and always waited for me..
" come.."
He held his hand out.
I sat on the ground tired and said.
" I think we should wait until morning...I don't think my body can handle it.."
Dororo looked at me and said.
" bro..sis is tired..you maybe able to handle staying awake for this long but sis can't."
Hyakkimaru frowned and walked over to me. He bent down and showed his back to me.
Huh? Piggy back?
" get on."
I nodded and did.
And we were off again.
Not even 5min past and I was already asleep..
Next thing I knew I woke up to feeling something going up and down my arm.
I opened my eyes and saw Hyakkimarus face.
" what! Oh...Hyakkimaru..where are we?"
Did I sleep through a whole day?
I looked out side and saw the sun set.
Wow.. I guess I did.
I looked around and said.
" where's dororo?"
Hyakkimaru rolled on his back and said.
" fire wood.."
I nodded and attempted to stand up. But Hyakkimaru grabbed my arm.
I looked down at him and he pulled me on top of him.
" stay."
I blushed and said.
" o-ok! But let me lay down in my previous spot.."
He smirked and said.
" no."
That guy! Ever since he learned to smirk that one time he knows it tortures me.
He rubbed my back and I looked at his face.
" demons.."
I sighed and said.
" just relax.."
" they're out there.."
" Hyakkimaru.."
" I'll get it back.."
I then kissed him. He stopped talking and put his hands on my cheeks.
I pulled away but Hyakkimaru pulled me back for one more.
" t-there..now..while we're here get some sleep.."
He looked at you and said.
" love you."
I blushed and buried my face into his chest.
Well...he's getting there..
He laid down and smiled.
We heard dororo yell.
" bro! Look at her!"
I instantly rolled off and sat up.
Hyakkimaru sat up too looking at the women dororo brought in.
Wow..she kinda looks like dororo.
" is she a ghoul?"
" no.."
Dororo sighed and said.
" a human then.."
" I can't tell.."
I looked and she smiled.
" I'm okaka..and this is my house."
I stood up in a panic with dororo.
" dororo you brought us to someone's house!"
I said nervously.
" well I didn't know!"
So she generously let us stay and cooked us a meal.
Hyakkimaru didn't trust her because he didn't know what she was.
So I was forced to stay in his lap like at the play.
I looked at Hyakkimaru while his head was on my shoulder.
" so you really can't tell.."
He nodded.

she gave us some food and I feed Hyakkimaru his.
He refused to let go of my waist. He said it was too comfy and warm..
Okaka laughed and said.
" it's so cute to see a young couple..what's your guys names."
I blushed and said.
" oh well..uh I'm (y/n) and this is Hyakkimaru.. but we haven't made us dating a thing..yet."
Hyakkimaru swallowed his food and said.
" dating?"
I blushed and shoved another spoonful in his mouth while embarrassed.
" I-it's nothing! Eat!"
He swallowed his food and we talked for a bit While I ate mine.
Okaka told us the story of this faceless Buddha and a carver and how he could never get the face right on his Buddha statue so he now offers faces to it until he finds the perfect one..it was a strange story but hey I don't want to be rude..
I felt Hyakkimaru forehead fall on my shoulder and I noticed his arms loosen.
Huh? Did he fall asleep?
I smiled and put him Down.. while I was putting him down I felt dizzy.
" o..oh wow..I.."
Then I fell asleep..
I woke up and noticed I was being dragged..

I looked up to see dororo with a stick and we were climbing a mountains side to a waterfall.
" dororo...what's happening.."
I said getting up.
She walked a bit faster and said.
" okaka I think is the carver. She poisoned our food and she took Hyakkimaru!"
I panicked and we ran to the waterfall.
There we saw okaka and she looked up.
" you two..why didn't you guys run! I didn't tie you up!"
Dororo landed on Hyakkimaru chest while I held Hyakkimaru head slapping his cheeks to wake him. Dororo said.
" you won't take him...I promised to be by his side.."
I looked at dororo sweetly hearing her say that was adorable...
I didn't notice Hyakkimaru woke up until he said.
" dororo...(y/n)?"
" you finally had a good nap, huh bro.."
Then in a flash he cut himself out.
I sat there shocked.
Hyakkimaru chased after the girl but stopped when he saw the Buddha statue.
He looked up and climb it.
I grabbed dororo and made her sit with me while we watched.
The statute blew at Hyakkimaru making him fall down the waterfall.
" Hyakkimaru!"
Then I watched as Hyakkimaru came up on these rings and brake the Buddha's hand.
" that's enough Hyakkimaru...you've done enough.."
Dororo said.
" that's.. bros mother.."
I glared at her and thought what an Awful person she is.
But Hyakkimaru knew it was okaka and continued his fight With the Buddha statute
But when he turned around that witch caught him with rope.
And she was attempting to cut his face off.
I felt dororo run out of my grip and hug okaka.
I ran to Hyakkimaru and leaned on him so she couldn't move him anymore.
I heard dororo talk to her and she seemed..
Like she was in sorrow..
And she Gave up.
The statue came down and cut her.
Hyakkimaru got free..Hyakkimaru saw the sword and jumped on it to cut the Buddha statues face. The sword came up to get Hyakkimaru but Hyakkimaru moved and the sword smacked itself in his face. I walked over to dororo and stood behind her..just Incase she needed me.
She held okaka hand and kept calling her mom.. I guess that's why they looked so Familiar.
I felt Hyakkimaru walk side next to me and we watched.
Okaka said a few nice words to dororo and turned into dust..
I prayed for okaka soul to be at rest and dororo held the Robe to her face.
So after that depressing time dororo apologized for bringing up memories of Hyakkimaru mother again and bumped into Hyakkimaru making dororo fall again.
I Sighed and said.
" you need to be more careful.."
We then heard.
" dororo...I'm fine. Let's go to the hot springs.."
And Hyakkimaru walked off.
I looked at dororo shocked.
Dororo smiled and said.
" yes! Come on (y/n) let's go!"
While we were walking Hyakkimaru held my hand.
" hey..remember when I Told you there was a monster at the hot springs.. I lied.."
Hyakkimaru kept walking and said.
" let's go.."
Dororo blushed happily and said.
" alright!"
I smiled up at Hyakkimaru and kissed his cheek saying.
" thank you.."
Hyakkimaru looked at me and nodded.
We made it to the hot springs and me and dororo looked around.
We never been to one before so we looked crazy.
When we walked through we saw the spring.
Hyakkimaru without shame stripped.
I turned around and took my white robe off.
Dororo then said.
" I know you can't see...but don't look.."
Then of course he turned around!
Hyakkimaru then looked at me and I covered his eyes.
" get in and don't turn around idiot.."
I said with a blush.
He looked shocked and touched my hands on his eyes.
We made it in and I stood in there with my arms around my chest embarrassed..
I know we did this before..but it's still so awkward..
But it can't be denied it's so nice in here.
Then we heard a laugh. Dororo panicked making Hyakkimaru grabbed me and pull me into him.
" gwa! Wait! H-Hyakkimaru!"
The smoke cleared and showed the priest.
I screamed and hid behind Hyakkimaru making him confused.
The priest laughed and said.
" (y/n)..taking baths with another man while engaged...how indecent.."
He was joking.
I blushed and yelled at him.
" shut up old man! And how do you know I'm engaged.."
" tahomaru announced it when he returned from the battle.."
I looked shocked..he did..
Hyakkimaru glared at the priest and said.
" I know you want me gone..but know I was here before you..I guess we're destined to meet."
Then we heard more people coming and I buried my face into Hyakkimarus back.
He looked at the voices then at me.

I said.

Then these kids and their grandfather came in and started talking with dororo.
The priest looked at you and smirked. You looked back at him weirdly and said.
" what?"
Priest smiled and said.
" who do you love..tahomaru..or Hyakkimaru.."
Hyakkimaru looked at me and he pulled me into a hug..
" she's mine.."
I blushed and said.
" Hyakkimaru! N-not in the bath.."
The priest watched and laughed.
We heard the kids mention something about a map and looked at dororos back.
There was..
