soooo I might have kinda turned this into a weird kind of long, rambly PSA that's about 1020 words, and I put a lot of my heart into this. I'm sorry if this isn't really your thing but I kind of made this book in the hopes of having the boys go through some problems girls have to go through with stereotyping and other problems, and I think it would be great if I could do this with a book where I turned some girls into boys and had them go through boy stereotypes (guys don't cry, guys don't wear makeup or dresses, all boys are perverts and just want to get into your pants) but if you havent caught on by now, I'm a girl! (SOUND THE ALARMS!) I couldn't write from a boys point of view because I don't have any clue about what boys go through (because I also don't have any guy friends that I could ask about this because I'm too shy to talk to anyone in real life (boys or girls)) and I'm sorry I'm kind of rambling again. there's also going to be a long ramble at the end of this chapter so if you want to read it you can but it's kind of a bunch of structured word vomit (which is basically all of my typing). anyways, if you actually read through this, thank you for reading and I hope you enjoy this chapter! Also, HAPPY PRIDE MONTH! thank you to all of the fabulous LGBT+ people that have helped us slowly work our way to becoming a better, more accepting, more inclusive community! and remember, you can be out and proud or you can be closeted and safe! you don't have to be out if it puts you in danger, and also don't out anyone if it puts them in danger!

Aizawa-sensei had sent them to work quietly on a project by themselves, midoriya quietly grumbling under his breath. That's when the immense pain hit todoroki. It was one of the worst pains todoroki had ever felt. Broken bones hurt the worst when they occur, then they hurt when you put pressure on the injured limb, so the pain can easily be avoided. But this, this is almost worse than when endeavor tried to "train" him in his early years so hard he threw up. he says almost because endeavor put him through emotional and physical pain whereas this was the equivalent to only the physical pain todoroki felt back then. he was dizzy and nauseous, and had pain in his lower abdomen region (where he assumed her uterus was close to) and had leg pains as well. With the amount of pain he was in, he could hardly breathe and it felt her chest tighten. She couldn't focus on her work and was spacing in and out. Momo, who sat next to him, heard her heavy breathing and quiet groans under her breathe. "Hey, are you okay?" she leaned over and asked. This caused everyone to turn and look at her.

"I'm about to throw up." she rushed out of her chair and made a sprint to the bathroom, and made it just in time (luckily). She leaned over the toilet and emptied all of her stomach contents into the toilet. A few of the female students came into the restroom as well and momo leaned down next to her and pulled her hair up and rubbed her back.

"Are you okay?" Jiro asked softly as he stopped vomiting for the time being.

"... yeah, im feeling better than I have in days." everyone looked at each other, confused. he used the same monotone voice he used all the time, so they couldn't tell if he was being a wise-ass or if he was being serious.

"That was a joke." they all breathed out a sigh of relief.

"I think it might be your period. My mom said that when she first got her period, she projectile vomited in her classroom!"

"The same thing happened to me! And it was the first day of 1st-year middle school!" the girls grimace and looked at mina in sympathy.

"Here," Jiro handed her pad. "Put this on just in case." todoroki nodded at her and she flushed the toilet and everyone moved out of the stall as she locked it. After a few seconds, a bang was heard and todoroki yelled,

"DAMNIT!"

"Todoroki?! Are you okay in there?!" momo said with concern.

"... would you mind bringing me a new pair of underwear." the girls shared a look.

"Okay, uraraka, can you run down to the infirmary and ask recovery girl for some painkillers? While you're out there, can you alert the others about what happened and tell midoriya to run and get some of todoroki's underwear?" uraraka nodded and left the bathroom.

Uraraka:

Uraraka ran outside and was immediately bombarded with questions.

"Wheres todoroki?"

"Is he alright?"

"What's going on in there?!"

"Well, he threw up,"

"Ew."

"Yeah... turns out, he also started his period. Deku, would you mind running down to todoroki's dorm and getting him a pair of his underwear for him? I was sent to go get painkillers from recovery girl. It seems as if todoroki is getting really bad cramps from his period." midoriya nodded and ran off towards the dorms while the rest nodded, not really understanding what he meant but knowing if he needed painkillers, it was probably bad.

"Okay well... good luck?" uraraka nodded and smiled before running off in the other direction.

Time Skip:

Uraraka got back at the same time as midoriya, and she handed todoroki's briefs and uraraka ran back into the bathroom to and handed the briefs under the stall.
"Thank you." todoroki replied.

"My pleasure!" they could hear todoroki open the pad and after a few seconds if complete silence, todoroki asked,

"Do I put this on like a diaper?" the girls giggled slightly Jiro walked to the front of the stall and gave todoroki careful instructions on how to apply a pad to underwear. Although they both wore different types of underwear, they managed to get through their little language barrier and todoroki got the pad on eventually.

All the girls eventually left the bathroom to find all the boys crowded around the bathroom, some with wide eyes. "Is that seriously what a period is?!" kaminari asked, seeming to be slightly freaked out. "Is there really blood coming out of..." Jiro nodded and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Did you really not know?" momo asked, concerned.

"They only taught me the boys puberty in middle school! And then my mom never told me about any of this! It was like she embarrassed by the whole thing!"

"Well, that's the way the world is sometimes. Especially back then, when our parents were growing up, it was like women were shunned for something their body did naturally on its own."

"I can imagine," Kirishima said. "My mom's always told me stories of things they had to go through growing up. They were shunned for it because of their religion or culture for some people and for others the stigma of periods being related to being disgusting, dirty, and unclean."

"When you say that, I can see why people wouldn't want to talk to others about this kind of stuff. I mean, when you think about it without periods none of us would be here today!" Denki seemed to have shocked himself with his new discovery.

"Wow, it really took you this long to realize us women are secretly running the world?" Jiro jokes. The others laughed.

"Maybe I should call midnight and some other teachers to give everyone a proper lesson on puberty and sex," Aizawa said.

"That's actually a good idea! I don't think any of us know nearly enough about our bodies, and the schools really don't teach us enough about sex and things like that!"

"Momo is right! I think we would all be able to better understand ourselves if we knew more about this, and I think our environment would be so much better if we were able to freely talk about puberty and sex without it feeling like taboo!" everyone nodded in agreement to mina's words.

"You know," sero threw his arms around mina and Jiro's shoulders "I'm glad we had this conversation. I feel like I know more about you guys, and I can honestly say I will never ask a girl is she is being moody because it's, 'that time of the month,'" uraraka smiled.

"I would really appreciate that, sero."

"I agree. To be honest, it kind of stings when some people blow our feelings off as just a mood swing. Of course, sometimes it can be that we really are feeling extra cranky because of our monthly cycle, but other times it has nothing to do with our periods and it's incredibly devaluing." some of the boys cringed.

"Yeah. I think I owe you an apology." Denki spoke. "I didn't really understand."

"Yeah, who knew words could hurt people?" everyone laughed at todoroki's blunt and sarcastic reply.

"Yeah, who knew?"

im not sure if todoroki's period problems can relate to everyone, because i was writing from my personal experiences and the other day i found out about that not everyone goes through that on their period! i was talking to my mom about having immense pain and chest tightness and the other things i explained in todoroki's little section to my mom and she gave me a look of slight horror and confusion and i was like, "oh, is that not normal??" and my mom was like, "ummmm no??? why didnt you tell the doctor about this?" "i thought it was normal!" but ive been experiencing this since sixth grade when i started my period and my periods are still not regular (and its been almost 4 years (maybe not, i never learned my math facts)) and weve been talking to the doctor about this for a while and we think it might be a little thing called polycystic ovary syndrome, and its actually quite common (200,000 cases per year in just the u.s. alone, and many people ive talked to have experienced the same type of pain ive felt ( i havent talked to anyone about the chest tightness though, i honeslty thought that was normal!) but if anyone else can relate to the chest tightness, please comment cause that would make me feel a lot better about my situation. that's about it i have to say about that, and thank you for listening to my ted talk. but seriously, im sorry if this turned into a weird little PSA thing!
