Nova's POV
The days I spent with Bjorn were like honey and milk.
I remember every scent and every feel of what I saw when I was with him.
He brought out a whole new side of me, the side that was screaming to come out of me but whose voice I ignored so blantly. A voice that deserved to be heard.
Bjorn made me a fearless warrior, his ruthless teaching grew into me like a spine or a backbone. I, for once felt like I could stand up on my own without needing a man to rescue me
"For you" Bjorn says as his words shakes me back to reality and my eyes find their way back to his
I look at a wood carved long piece which he holds proudly, he stretches his arm and pokes mine with the wooden piece
"What is this?" I take the carved wood from his hand and he let's out a sweet smile
"It's a giraffe, look" He says as his long white bony fingers traces the animal's body and he describes the unknown animal to me but instead of listening to his explanation of the alien animal, all I think about is him

His long bony fingers, the way he laughs at his own jokes or the way he describes the animal, like the way he describes his god is all amusing to me.
"So, it was yes, Africa where I first saw this animal. Nova?" Bjorn says as he looks at me
"Ye...yes yes. I am listening" I lie, not hearing a word that he said but the just admiring the way he says everything with those small thin lips
"So that is my story of seeing this magical animal while exploring the continent of Africa" He smirks
"I envy you, for travelling the world. Seeing what no one has seen before" I elbow him gently as we sit on the grass together. The sweet smell of grass and Bjorn Ironside mingles together to freshen my senses
"These castles are not your prison Nova. It's all in your mind" Bjorn looks at me with deepness in her eyes

Bjorn's POV
The way she plays with the wooden giraffe makes her seem like a little girl who has been gifted a toy for the first time
To Nova, everything is exciting, everything feels new around her
She has this uncanny innocence and childish nature with is contagious.
I lean closer to her, observing the way she reacts but she remains calm.
All I want to do is touch her, she is holy to me
*Horns starts blowing*
Nova heads pops up like that of a hare when he hears a noise
"It's Ivar! He is back!" She says excitedly and gets up while fixing her dress
The happiness in her eyes soon turn to a little sadness as her frets with the wooden giraffe in her hands. The anxious look on her face takes over her whole body as her skin becomes a little pale.
It takes everything in me to destroy my reputation and hold the hand of my brother's wife, but I do it anyway
*Bjorn takes Nova's hand gently*
Her cold hands fit perfectly into mine, even though her hand is of the size of my palm
"Bjorn?" She says softly with a blank expression but I take her hand and kiss it
"Please, let me Nova" I reply, my eyes begging for her approval
After a few minutes of silence, she nods and blush
"Only till there" She says as she points the wooden giraffe to a bush a few meters away before the castle gate
"I know, I know" I say as I cusp her buttery hand tighter
I am well aware of how all the hell will break loose if Ivar sees Nova's hand in my hands. I know my brother loves her but no where in the world it is that he deserves her
It is I, who deserve her
"Let's go" She smiles and moves gracefully, I walk by her side. Hoping the bush never comes or that the road magically elongates to infinity
I have never felt so alive before
It is magic......
It is madness..........
