I wake up as I twist and turn around in my bed and stretch my arms, I open my eyes gently and see the sun rays perfectly making it's way through the curtains and into my room.
I look at my finger and I smile when I see the engagement ring perfectly wrapped around my ring finger, I kiss it softly
I spread my arm and with my half open eyes search for Ivar, but he is not in the bed although the bedsheet smells like him. I take a deep breath in to take in the aroma he has left behind.
"Glad you are up!" Ivar says while storming into the chamber
I hurriedly get up and sit on the bed, I then run my fingers through my hair and push them at the back
Ivar sits on the chair near the fireplace with a table full of food and smirks at me, "Good morning" he says with a sweet smile

"Good Morning, what is all that?" I say as I point to the food on the table
"It's everything strawberry" he says as he spreads his arms to present the food on the table
"How did you know I love strawberry?" I question
"Oh the baker boy told me before dying" Ivar scoffs but I frown
"What? It's a joke. Now come here I have got all this prepared for you, it's our breakfast" He says as he stuffs his mouth with a strawberry tart
Her skin glows in a very different way when she wakes up in the morning, it makes me think of how her face and body will look like when she carries my child. I just cannot stop looking at her and I know that she knows that.
Her beautiful lace nightgown against the golden sun looks ethereal to me
"I assume that I overslept" She says as she pours juice into her mug
"I know, you were exhausted the day before. I thought it's better if you take rest" I say and she smiles
"Now that I am married to you, I guess I won't rest as much" She banters
"Oh love, I won't let you" I wink at her and she says, "IVAR!" and laughs
"Nova, you didn't really tell me about everything that happened between you, Adrian or Medusa" I lean closer to her as I keep my elbows on my knees
Her expression quickly changes from happiness to dread, I know I shouldn't have asked her about it but she is my wife now. I need to know her inner world.
"I will speak about it when the time is right" she says as she takes a sip of her juice and looks at the floor
"Okay, but I am now your husband Nova. I don't want you to hide what you feel. No secrets" I say
