Chapter 28:
As I was still on Nick's lap playing with his diabetic tag while he was reading his book. Sam came down the steps and I tap on Nick and pointed at Sam direction and we see Sam about to leave but Nick said.
Nick: hey Sam
Sam stops what's he doing and turn to him.
Sam: oh hey Nick, didn't see you two their
Charlie: of course you didn't. Now, what are you up to?
Nick: Charlotte...
Charlie: what??? I'm just curious.
Nick: but it's none of your business and we talk about this before remember that"
Charlie *sighs* "I know, but it's none of your business either and you're getting involved
Nick: but he is my friend
Charlie: he's my friend too, and I care about him as well
Nick: I didn't mean it like that sweetheart-
Sam: um.... guys, what's going on?
Nick: well... Charlie sort of over heard you talking on the phone
Charlie: Nick! I wanted to to tell him! Wasn't your place to tell.
Nick: *gives her look* watch the attitude little lady, do you know who you're talking to?
Charlie: *pouts* but it's true
Nick: you're right and I'm sorry, I should have let you told him
Charlie: *sighs* and I'm sorry for my bad attitude
Nick: you can go to bed it's bedtime anyways, I will take it from here
Charlie: *pouts* but... I wanna hear what he has to say
Nick: Charlie, go to your room
Charlie: but...
Nick: (stern voice) now!
Charlie: *frowns* fine, I can hear better from my room anyways
Nick shook his head and gave me a pop on my bottom, and I yelled a "ow!" at him and he pointed to the stairs. I sigh and ran up the steps and into my room.
Nick's POV
When I hear the door to Charlie's bed room slammed. I turn to Sam and said.
Nick: Sam, do you want to talk about it?
Sam: there's nothing to talk about. Now could you please let me go to the airport so I could pick up my brother and sisters.
Nick: how are you gonna get their?
Sam: bus
Nick: nope, you're taking my car but first you need to tell me what happened
Sam: *sighs* fine, you know my sister Jessica right?
Nick: yeah, what about her?
Sam: well she has been dating this guy name Jermeny, and Brian and I told her while I'm gone not to go out with him. But she went behind our back anyways and went out on a date with him and she ended up in a car accident
Nick: *shocked* all that in one night?
Sam: yep, so do you mind if they stay here for a few days? I don't trust them watching the girls now
Nick: sure I don't mind, their's plenty of room for them here
Sam: thanks man
Nick: but why tonight shouldn't Jessica still be in the hospital?
Sam: Brian told me the car accident wasn't that bad, but the doctor said it could of been worst
Nick: yeah well you better head out
Sam: yeah, thanks" *about to leave*
Nick: um... Sam
Sam turns back around to him*
Sam: yeah Nick
Nick throws his car keys at him and he caught it and said.
Sam: oh right thanks man
Nick: Sam relax everything will be fine
Sam: yeah, I'm just a little nervous
Nick: don't be, and please be careful with my truck
Sam: please Nick, you're more worried about your trash car?
Nick: just be lucky that your driving in a car. Plus it wasn't even mine to begin with, my mom gave it to me. It used to be her "soccer mom" car for Charlie and her friends
Sam: oh right sorry dude, well later
Nick: bye and hurry back
He nods and walk out and close the door behind him. I put my book down and went upstairs to go check on Charlie.
