Maya's POV
My hearts pounding a million miles an hour right now and my hands can't stop shaking. I haven't been alone with Lucas since the beach.
He shines the phones flashlight up towards the cupboard and I open it. A flashlight falls out and I can't doge it in time.
"Owww," I whin plopping on the ground. Lucas puts his hand on my head where it hit my face and when he takes it off there's blood.
"Are...are you okay?" Lucas grabs a paper towel and puts it to my head.
"No my heads just bleeding for fun."
"I'm actually trying to be nice."
"That's a first," I stood up.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he asks trying to touch the paper towel.
"Nothing," I pick up the flashlight that fell on my head and walk back into the family room.
"What happened to your head?" Riley shoots up.
"Did Lucas hit you?" Farkles jumps over touching my forehead.
"No a flashlight," I winced when he touched my forehead.
"He hit you with a flashlight."
"No it fell."
Farkles eyes are sparkling against the flashlight and he's has this cute smile on his face.
