Subaru:Well, at any rate, it seems we got out of using Return By Death this time...

For a story about being summoned to another world, it's kinda flawed.

It was morning, and you and Subaru were in the kitchen peeling potatoes, with Rem and Ram doing their own things.
Rem was stirring a pot full of stew, while Ram was also peeling potatoes with a knife.
Subaru accidentaly cut himself on a potato and started to bleed pretty badly.
Subaru:Ow!
(Y/N):Here, I'll bandage it,
You started to bandage his bleeding finger, then went back to peeling.
Ram:You may get full marks for sewing, but you are still useless with a knife, Burasu.
(Y/N):What about me?
You were sneakily using your power to copy Ram's way of peeling the potatoes, and sure enough, you were doing just as well as her.
Ram:As for you, (N/N), I'm impressed.
I'll have to give you full marks for peeling vegetables.
(Y/N):Yea!
That's how it's done!
I'm trying to do it as well as you, Ram!
Rem started smiling, and looked at Ram.
Rem:As always, you make such a lovely image when peeling vegetables, sister.
Subaru:Your bias is so blatant, it's almost comforting!

Rem took a quck glance at the potatoes Subaru peeled, and looked at him.
Rem:I pity the farmer who grew those vegetables.
Subaru:Stop, you're breaking my heart!
Ram:You do not know how to handle a knife, Barusu.
You should hold the knife still, turning the vegetables.
She held up a potato, showing it off to you and Subaru.
And with a smile, started talking.
Ram:Frankly speaking, my best dish is steames tatoes.
(Y/N):That's good!
(Whispering)I like tatoes.
Subaru just went full on crazy mode.
Subaru:How can you say that with such a triumphant look?
Damn it, just watch.
He held a knife in one hand, and a potato in the other.
My favorite blade, shooting star, will show you a thing or two—
He tried to peel the potato as well as he could, but cut a piece of the skin of his finger off, causing him to bleed a lot.
Subaru:It sliced right through me!
(Y/N):Have some more bandages!
When you all were done, it was time to clean the kitchen.
You were trying your hardest, while finding all spots the Subaru left unclean.
(Y/N):All those times I had to clean the school as punishment finally paid off!
Then, you moved on to washing the dishes.
While washing, Subaru accidentaly dropped a plate on to the water, making it splash all over the place, including you and Ram.
(Y/N):Dude! Not cool!
Subaru:Sorry!
You proceded to clean the kitchen again, while Subaru had to take care of all the dishes by himself.
After you were done, you went to the Bathing Room, and started sweeping and cleaning the floors.
Subaru was unlucky, and tripped on a slippery spot on the floor, and hit his head on the floor.
You had to clean the rest of the Barhing Room up, while Subaru was unconscious.
After you were finally sone, you had to wash some clothes by yourself, and it wasn't that bad, until Subaru woke up screaming, causing you to slide your hand across the bucket filled with water and soap, making you get a splinter.
You had to get help from Ram to pull out that splinter, because it was deep.
Soon after, you, Subaru and Ram were trimming some bushes, and as you were about to snip a twig, Subaru screamed with his hand bleeding, indicating that he cut himself.
This caused you to turn your head, forgetting that you were about to cut a twig, causing you to cut the top of your finger.
You had to help Subaru stay still and get his hand bandaged, while you had to wait for Ram to bring bandages.
Suffice to say, you had two cuts on your finger, while Subaru had to get his whole hand bandaged after the day.
But it was all worth it.
(Timeskip)
(3rd POV) (I'll rarely use this btw)
Roswaal was sitting on a chair in front of a window, with Ram on his lap.
Roswaal:It's been five days since Subaru-kun and (Y/N)-kun came to the mansion.
How have they been?
By now, we should be seeing something.
Ram:Cooking, laundry, cleaning.
Barusu is useless at all of them.
Roswaal:How strict of you...
But what about the other one?
Ram:He has been showing exceptional skills in all three categories.
To say the least, he has been doing surprisingly well.
Roswaal:I see, (Y/N)-kun has taken quite the liking of you
But for now, we shall await their next move.
nevertheless...
The atmosphere quickly changed to a darker tone.
Roswaal:What of their potential as spies?
Ram:I cannot deny it exists, but I believe the possibility is quite slim.
For better or worse.
Specifically for worse, they're too conspicuous.
Roswaal:And if they're too cinspicuous...
Despite that possibility, they certainly are carefree.
They looked out from the window, and saw that Emilia had summoned some sporits in the yard.
And that Subaru and you were there, with you sitting down on the grass, while Subaru was standing next to you.
Roswaal:As I personally see it, interfering would be wise.
She looked at you for a long time.
Ram:They are only children.
Even if we let them be, nothing will happen.
Roswaal:As I can see it, (Y/N)-kun contains power that he's hiding from us.
Perhaps we will see it down the road.
(Your POV)
You and Subaru were watching as Emilia was gathering lesser spirits around her again.
Your power had suddenly activated without you knowing.
Emilia:It isn't that fun to watch, is it?
Subaru:When I'm with you, nothing is boring, Emilia-tan..
(Y/N):Awww, complimenting the mistress, are we?
(Y/N)(Thoughts):Crap, did I just say that?
Emilia:That makes me happy, even if you're only flattering me.
She stopped what she was doing, and looked at you two.
And your power had deactivated.
Subaru:Besides, we haven't had a chance to talk for the past few days.
Emilia:That's right.
It must be difficult for you to learn your work here.
Subaru:Yes, it is!

He laid there for a while, and looked up at the sky, with you sitting next to him.
Emilia sat down next to him as well after a while.
Subaru:The moon sure is pretty.
Emilia:Yes, it's far beyond our reach.
(Y/N):Yet so close to our eyes.?
Subaru:I got really touching a response, without even trying!
Emilia smiled at Subaru.
Emilia:Anyway, don't you think you're a bit lacking in ambition

A little animal bit him when he was playing with some kids.

Emilia:Wait, it wasn't the result of his effort?
Subaru:Those kids were ruthless, hitting me and kicking me, and wiping their runny noses on me.
It sucked, damn it.
You remembered the events that occured during one of the days where you were out of herbs.
This caused you to shiver, and hold yourself with your hands.
Emilia:You do seem like you'd be good with small children, Subaru.
(Y/N):Oh, he does alright.
Subaru:I know!
Wanna come with me tomorrow, to get revenge...
I mean, to watch the kids and the small animal?
Emilia:It isn't that I don't want to go with you...

Subaru and you walked out of your room and into Beatrice's library.
(Y/N):How do you keep finding it Subaru?
Subaru:Magic!

You're still up?
Beatrice:So now you can break through my Door Crossing like it's natural, I suppose.
Subaru:Oh, I jusr wanted to say hello before going to bed.
She was pulling on one of her twin drills. (Hairstyle)

He reached for her hair.

He pulled his arm back.

Suddenly, Subaru was launched out of the room and into the wall, shocking you.

You could barely hear some muffle sound from the inside of the room
Beatrice:That has nothing to do with Betty, I suppose.

Subaru was talking to himself, causing you to stay awake.
Subaru:For our date tomorow.
I'll have to come up with an excuse to ditch those kids at the village.
Oh, but first, I've gotta learn where all the good views and flower fields and stuff are...
(Y/N):Bro, can you please keep it down?
I'm trying to sleep.

But I can't sleep while I'm thinking about this!

He then quieted down, and tried to sleep again.

You woke up dues to Subaru shouting with excitement.
Subaru:A new dawn has come!
A dawn of hope!
He did a pose, knocking the covers off your hands.
Subaru:Natsuki Subaru will make giant strides today...
You both notice that Rem and Ram are standing at both edges of the bed, staring at you both.
(Y/N):Good morning.
Subaru took the whole covers for himself, like a caterpillar.
And he had a face of embarasment.
Subaru:What?! You were in here?
You should have said something!
They looked at him.
Rem:Sister, sister... Our guest appears to be a bit confused.
Ram:Rem, Rem... It looks as though our guest has gone crazy.
Subaru:Why are you calling me a guest?
You two and your jokes...
He looked at his hands, and stood still in shock.
(Y/N):Huh?
You never bothered to look at your hands, because you were busy talking, but since you had a closer look on them...
