Pearl assembles all the things that Connie mentioned on the floor.
"Yep, it's all coming together." Steven says.
"So, how do we begin our "school"?" Pearl asks.
"Ugh... I... I don't know! This is everything Connie told me. Why do I never ask follow-up questions?! Who will teach little Stevie and his sister now!?" Steven asks, holding onto his sister.
"Steven, please." Isabella smiles.
Pearl gasps excitedly, "Teach you?! Steven! If only I had known that's what you really wanted!" she does her little dance again, posing as her gem glows, "TWOOOAH! HAAAAAAAAH!" Pearl summons a mirror from her gem. It twirls in mid-air as she explains, "We found this gem-powered mirror at the Galaxy Warp. It can capture and display any event it's witnessed in all of Gem history."
The mirror lands in Isabella's hands as Steven gasps.
Pearl comes from behind and places her arms around Steven, "It'll offer you everything you've ever wanted to know about your fellow Gems and our culture."
All they can see is Isabella's reflection.
"Isabella must be incredibly important to Gem culture." Steven says.
Pearl scoffs, "It's just her in there. It hasn't even been activated." she clears her throat, "Show us the Galaxy Warp..."
The mirror does nothing.
"Show us the Galaxy Warp." Pearl says with frustration, "Oh, come on!" she tugs on the mirror, "I know you've seen it." Pearl sighs as she examines the mirror, "It is in pretty rough shape. It must finally be broken." she gives it to Steven as she sighs, "What a shame."
"Doesn't seem broken to me!" Steven told her as he stares at his reflection.
Isabella laughs, "Of course you would say that."
Pearl sighs, "Oh well. I guess that's the end of our school."
"Whoa. Wha... So you could say... School's out for summer?" Steven says as he smiles widely
"Yes. Good, Steven. There are many ways to say the same thing."
Steven gasps, "School's out!" he runs out of the house.
"Steven! Wait!" Isabella runs after him.
Steven runs down the beach breathing heavily with Isabella in tow, "School's out! Happy summer vacation, Steven. Happy summer vacation, Beach City!" Steven runs backwards chuckling and cheering.
"Steven, be careful!" Isabella yells.
Steven accidently slams into Lars, making him and Sadie knock over a table they were setting up.
Lars points to Steven, "Er, watch where you're going, you little f..." he glances at Isabella, who was walking towards them, "Ssssteven!"
"Sorry! I'm just so excited for summer. Are you excited for summer? I'm so excited for summer!" Steven yells.
"He is way too excited for summer." Isabella says.
Sadie laughs, "Uh, I think I'm as excited as I can get about setting up extra seating for the summer rush. But Lars has big plans."
"Oh really?" Isabella crosses her arms.
"You bet I do! All those out-of-town summer babes traveling away from home without their boyfriends, if you know what I mean." Lars raises his eyebrows.
"Lars! Steven won't know what that means!" Isabella told him.
Steven shakes his head, "Nope."
"Maybe I'll get a few numbers. Maybe I'll even... call one."
Sadie laughs, "Ha! Well, yeah, maybe I'll meet a new friend."
"That's a great idea. A special new friend to have fun on the beach with in the summer. Maybe if I keep using the mirror to guide me, I'll walk backwards into my own beach-summer-fun buddy!" Steven walks backwards away from them.
"I'll see you later, Steven!" Isabella told him as she walks in the direction of the Beach House.
"Next time you see me, I'll be on the arm of a hot womans!" Lars points to himself.
"You can stop talking about it now." Sadie told him.

Isabella was outside in the dark away from the Beach House. All of a sudden, Steven ran towards her, panting and out of breath, "Isabella!"
"Steven, what's wrong?" Isabella asks.
"It's this mirror! The gems want it back!"
"What's wrong with it?" Isabella asks again as the mirror begins to whir.
"Are you trying to say something?" Steven asks it.
"Away from home- Let- Me- Out!"
"I don't understand!" Steven exclaims.
"Steven!" Pearl calls from afar.
"What does it mean by "Let me out"?" Isabella asks.
The mirror whirs and projects a scene of Isabella pulling the gem out of the back of the mirror.
Steven turns the mirror to it's back as Isabella begins to tug on the gem. As she does so, water from the sea begins to form the pattern of the mirror around her and Steven. After much effort, Isabella manages to pull the gem out, and the mirror shatters. The gem then starts glowing in her hand and levitates in mid-air. It reforms back into its physical, humanoid form and collapses onto the sand.
Steven gasps, "Wha..." he and Isabella run towards the blue gem.
"Are you okay?" Isabella asks.
The gem turns to them, her eyes looking like a mirror, "Thank you... You didn't-" she struggles to stand, but the two siblings help her up, "You actually talked to me. You helped me! It's Steven and Isabella, right?"
Steven breathes deeply, "Mm."
"Yep!" Isabella adds.
"I'm Lapis. Lapis Lazuli. Are you both really Crystal Gems?"
"Yeah!"
"But you set me free." Lapis told them.
"But...Wha..."
"STEVEN!!!!!" Garnet yells as she, Amethyst, and Pearl approach and summon their weapons.
Isabella defends Lapis as Steven runs towards the Gems, "Wait!"
"You..." Lapis raises a huge water-arm out of the ocean, "You three knew I was in there, and you didn't do anything. Did you even wonder who I USED TO BE!!" Lapis slams the water-arm onto the Gems, trapping Garnet underneath it and knocking Pearl and Amethyst aside.
"Steven, Isabella, run!" Pearl told them.
"What are you doing?" Steven asks.
"I'm Lapis Lazuli, and you can't keep me trapped here anymore!"
"Huh?"
"They're not going to let us leave." Lapis told them.
"Leave?" Isabella asks.
Lapis parts the ocean in half, creating a path through it, Steven, Isabella, come with me."
"Where?" Steven asks.
"...Home."
"Lapis, I'm sorry, but we can't go." Isabella told her.
Lapis looks upset for a moment, "Fine." she dispels the ocean path.
Garnet manages to break free of the water-arm and punches it away. She then charges towards Steven, Isabella, and Lapis.
"Don't trust them. Goodbye." Lapis walks into the ocean, and creates a huge wave that knocks Steven, Isabella, and Garnet back away. Pearl and Amethyst rush to their side.
"Steven! Isabella!" Pearl embraces the two, "Are you okay?"
"Yeah. We're fine." Steven told her.
"So, that was another Gem?" Isabella asks.
Pearl sighs, "Yes."
The Crystal Gems gaze out to the ocean for the brief moment.
"Steven, you're grounded."
