Words are like daggers stabbing deep
Down into the heart of your emotions.
They burn and they sting you outside and in,
Scars that can't be healed by any medicine.
They tear at your heart and they leave you bleeding
The blood of emotions which is tears.
And though you beg again and again
For the words to end, your words they are not heeding.
They repeat the words over and over
Thinking it's funny that your tears are pouring.
But their words are like daggers.
Stabbing again, and again, for the kill they fly!
And you truly think that you could die,
And no one would notice you were gone until
They had nobody else to torment and hurt.
Yes, your words are like daggers,
Stabing deep in my heart, about to kill.
