Spell Bags

Spell bags are really simple and useful spells that you can use for almost any purpose. Just put a bunch of objects representing your intention into a little bag (which are really easy to get becuase usually little polished stones and crystals come in them), channel your intention into the bag, and then leave it somewhere until you forget about it!

Certain color bags represent certain things and work for different spells:
Pink: love
Red: love, passion, sex
Orange: courage
Yellow: positive energy,
Blue: spirituality, healing
Purple: protection, wealth, wisdom, intuition, grandeur, psychic power
Green: finance, abundance, faeries
White: purity, cleansing, spirituality, angels
Black: banishment
Gold: wealth, prosperity, solar, the God
Silver: psychic power, lunar, the Goddess

You can reference the lists of herbs and stones to provide more materials for your spell bags. Here are a few stones and metals, and you can choose which ones are appropriate for different spells:
Aluminum: Travel, communication
Amethyst: Wisdom and psychic powers
Aventurine: Healing and prosperity.
Clear quartz: Good for any purpose, add one to any spell bag to add potency.
Copper: Love and healing
Gold: Prosperity and protection
Iron: Protection and strength
Moonstone: Emotions, peace and love
Rose quartz: Love and harmony
Silver: Protection, Lunar power, love, prosperity
Tiger's eye: Wealth and protection

Finally, you need herbs and other magical objects:
Acorn: Luck, prosperity, protection from lightning, and sexual potency.
Broom: (the herb) Brushes away negative influences, sweeps in luck, protection, wealth and good into the home.
Clover: Life, luck and abundance.
Horn: Repel the "evil eye,'' a symbol of nature and fertility, sexuality.
Horseshoe: Luck.
Key: Power, luck, especially if it is found and the finder does not know which lock it opens. A symbol of access to hidden things
Lightning-struck wood: Protection against all harm.
Pinecone: Luck, favorable influences, protection from harm, sexual power, repels negativity
Religious symbol: Symbols of various religions are protective.
Salt: Purification, repels evil, and attracts wealth.
Shark's tooth: Heal illnesses and to repel evil
Silver: Protection, wealth, and the blessing of all Goddesses.

Here are some sample spell bags you can try:

Love spell bag (to renew or enforce a relationship): Red or pink bag, Rose petals (if you have them, preferably from your lover), Passionflower (if you have it, for passion, obviously), Rose Quartz (love), Citrine (cleansing), Hematite (protection once relationship is restored), Clear Quartz (enhances all other stones), Shell (so the love is beautiful), Shark Tooth (so the love is stronger), Mint (love, energy, enthusiasm). Heart ('cause), Something to represent the other person, and something to represent how you met

Spell bag for writer's block: Blue bag, clear quartz (clarity), amethyst, feathers, mint leaves. (I tend to add lapis lazuli, because it's a powerful stone for me personally.)

Travel spell bag: Amethyst, malachite, moonstone, carnelian, clear quartz, smokey quartz, black tourmaline, lace agate.

Once you've made your bag, whisper the spell over it by telling it exactly what you want it to do for you. Then you can carry it with you, or place it on your altar and forget about it so the spell will work!
