Demi's POV
Its been a month since the night that Dani first preformed with me on stage, since then she has been singing with me every night since I had a show. I could tell that she loved performing on stage just as much as I did. I hope I can get Hollywood Records to sign her, that would be the best christmas present ever. Yesterday was my last show for the Unbroken Tour, so Dani and I are heading back to LA today to see out family and then start working on my next album. We are actually on the plane right now. I could tell that Dani was extremely nervous not only by the look on her face but also because she was shaking.
"Dani, calm down. Everything will be fine" I said hoping I convinced her
"How do you know that Dem?" Dani asked me
"Because I just know and I promise you if its not then we will figure it out one baby step at a time" I said
I'm guessing that Dani believed me because she stopped asking questions and stop shaking her body. Right about know I was praying that everything would be fine.
Soon our plane landed and our SUV met us by the jet. We each grabbed our bags and put them into the trunk of the SUV before we got into the back seat. Max was upfront along with the driver. Dani was growing more and more nervous as the miles between our SUV and the family house grew closer to one another. I couldn't blame her, this was the first time in about 4 months she is talking to our family members never the less facing them. I was growing a little bit nervous for her as well, but our mom isn't an unresonable person so nothing bad should happen.
Soon our car arrived in our drive way. I was the first person out seeing as I was sitting by the window, Dani slipped out of the car. Her eyes darting all over the place as if she was looking for a place to run. We went around to the trunk to where Max was waiting with our bags.
"Thanks Max" I said while smiling warmly
Dani and I each gave him a hug which he gladly accepted and gave us one bag.
"Dani, don't worry it will all be okay in the end" Max said lowly to Dani
Dani just nodded his head. With that we walked to the front door and let us in. As soon as we put our bags down we were greeted by our family.
"What are you doing here?" My mom said with an ice cold glare
With my own eyes I followed her ice cold glare straight to Dani.
"I live here" Dani replied
"Not anymore you don't. Get out" My mom said with an icey tone that went with the glare
"What? Mom you can't be serious about kicking her out" I interjected
Before our mom could respond Dani spoke up.
"No its fine Demi, if she doesn't want me here then I won't stay here any longer then to pack up a few bags then I will get out just like she wants me to" Dani said with no emotion in her voice
I looked around at my sisters and dad, their faces wore the same experession as I am sure mine did as well. They held the pefect mix of shocked and surprised.
"Fine then I am no longer welcome here either" I said
"Diana, you aren't serious. She is your own flesh in blood" our dad Eddie spoke up
"No, Eddie I am dead serious. I don't want her living here, she lied and decived us. As far as she is concerned she is dead to me" Our mom said
I looked over at Dallas and Maddie who were still speechless. Dallas and I made eye contact and I was silently pleading with her to say something.
"Mom, think about what you just said. We understand that you are mad but you can't be serious about kicking Dani out or saying that Dani is dead to you" Dallas says
"No Dallas, I meant every single word that I just said. She is no longer welcome in this house, she is also dead to me" Our mom said
"Fine then I am no longer welcome here either because what you are doing is unfair to Dani and to this family" Dallas said
"Fine Dallas Leigh" Mom said
"Same here mom, Dani is your daughter and my sister" Maddie said
"Madison Lee DeLaGarza you are under the age of 18 you don't have a say in this. You still live in this house and you will follow the rules of this house" Mom said
"Diana think about what you are doing. Are you really willing to risk losing three of your daughters over this as well as risk having Madison hate you." Dad said
"If that's what it takes then sure" Mom said to Dad
"I am going to go pack my bags, I will be back down in a few minutes" Dani said
"I'll help you" Dallas, Maddie and I said at the exact same time
With that the four of us walked up that stairs and into mine old room and Dani's soon to be old room. After packing for an hour we had 7 bags of clothes along with 3 bags of pictures and Dani's favorite stuffed animals, her camera bag, a bag of un-used songs that she has written. We all took the bags down the Dallas's car and loaded them up in the trunk. We then went into the music room and packed up several of the guitars and we got to taking apart one set of the techno drums and the the set of real drums. Our dad walked into the music room while we were in the midst of this.
"Don't worry about it girls. She will come around soon" Our dad said to us
"Don't worry about it, she doesn't have to. She doesn't want to be in my life anymore then she doesn't have to be." Dani said
"Maddie can you start taking the drums down into my truck while I help your sisters take apart the drum sets?" Dad asked Maddie
"Sure" Maddie said in a somber tone
Maddie picked up two of the guitars and left the room with them.
"I admire you girls for sticking together" Dad told us
"Thanks Daddy" we all replied
"Promise me my little warriors that this will being you even closer then you already are but that you guys will keep a watchful eye on Maddie" Dad said
"We promise Daddy." We all responed
"How are we supposed to keep a watchful eye on Maddie. Knowing Mom we wont even be allowed near her" Dallas asked the question we were all thinking
"For know it will be from a far and over communcation but I will figure out a way for you guys to see her" Eddie said with a sad smile.
Maddie soon returned and grabbed two more guitars and left once more. Soon Dallas, Dani, Dad and I were done taking apart the drums and we carried all the pieces down to Dad's truck. We then grabbed the three amplifiers that we have and carried those down into the truck. Dani and I ran back upstairs and grabbed the two bass' and put those in cases and carried them into the truck.
As we left the house I called out something to my mother.
"Goodbye Mother, Call me when you come to your senese and want to talk about this as well as rise Dani from the living dead in your life" I called out
Of course I got no reply, I wasn't expected one.
It was Dad, Dallas, Maddie, Dani and I outside. Dad got inside his truck while we had a sisters bear hug. Maddie still wore a somber expression on her face but this time she had tiny tear streak falling down her face.
Dani fell onto one knee and brought Maddie into another hug.
"Don't worry Mads. We will all figure this out and we are still only a text or phone call away." Dani said
Maddie just nodded her head. They seperated and Dani stood up, we shared another sisters bear hug before Maddie ran inside.
Dallas, Dani and I got inside in her car and waited for Eddie to pull out before we pulled out. My last sight of the house was Maddie stareing out her window at the cars and crying. It broke my heart. She had her three sisters yanked from her life in the matter of 5 minutes.
When we arrived to my massive apartment we put all of Dani's bags in one bedroom and the instruments in another bedroom. Our dad helped us set up both drum sets again. Once we were done with that he gave us a hug and looked at the three of us one by one and said the most amazing thing.
"The three of you may not be my flesh and blood, may not have a single shred of my DNA but you three are my daughters. Each of you are my baby girls and I love you so much"
Then he left, Dani ran out of the room after him.
Dallas stuck around for a few more hours and went out to dinner with us. After she dropped us off at my apartment she to left, leaving us with a hug and telling us she loved us.
Dani's POV
I feel bad for Maddie, my last view of that house was of Maddie stareing at us from her room and crying. I never wanted that to happen. She had three sisters ripped from her life today and I was really worried about her now.
Honestly it hasn't even hit me that I was kicked out of the family house and was told straight to my face that I was dead to my mother. If she wants to play that game then fine, we will play it. I no longer have a mother but I have an amazing dad still and right now besides for my career and my sisters he is my world.
After Dallas dropped us off from dinner, I followed Demi inside to our home. It still felt a little werid calling this place my home but its only been a few hours so thats expected.
I was about to head into my new room and unpack my bags but Demi told me that it could wait until tomorrow. Demi also said that we would go buy me a new bed tomorrow seeing as my old one was at the my old house and I wasn't going to get it back.
My thoughts wandered to Eddie and Maddie often throughout the night as I laid on the couch. Demi offered her bed to me until we could get my bed but I told her I would take the couch. I still can't believe that Eddie spoke up for me, I really didn't expect that. Sure he always called me his daughter and he practically raised me but still it really felt amazing tonight to here him speak up for me.
Before he left earlier this afternoon, he looked at the three of us one by one and said something that was the best thing of my day.
"The three of you may not be my flesh and blood, may not have a single shred of my DNA but you three are my daughters. Each of you are my baby girls and I love you so much"
He then left. What he said really hit me. I ran out of the room and after him.
"Wait Dad!" I yelled out as he was about to get into his truck
He turn around and I launched myself into his arms.
"I love you so much Dad. Thank you for everything you have done for me in my life" I said
"I love you to babygirl. No problem I was always happy to do it for you" Eddie said
I let him go and he got into this truck and drove home. To Diana and Maddie.
I stood there and watched him leave.
Eddie's POV
I can't believe my wife did what she did today. She said that Dani was dead to her, kicked her out and by doing that her oldest two daughters walked out of the house with Dani. I helped my girls set up the drums at Demi's apartment and said some words to them and giving them each a hug.
Dani ran out after me gave me a ginormous hug and told me that she loved me and thanked me for everything I did in her life. That made my heart swell. I was now determined to figure out a way to settle this as soon as possible.
When I got home, I blew straight passed my wife and went straight into my babygirls room. I walked in and what I saw broke my heart. Maddie was wearing one of Dani's sweatshirts, she was curled into a ball on her bed and sobbing her little eyes out. I crawled into her bed and she turned around and latched herself on to me. I rubbed her back and calmed her down.
I ended up falling asleep with Maddie and I woke up at 10:30pm to Maddies stomach grumbling. I gentally woke her up and told her that we needed some food. We walked downstairs and each had two bowls of cerel before Maddie went back to bed. I tucked her into bed and she fell asleep instantly. In turn I walked into my own room and changed into my pajamas and walked back into Maddie's bedroom and crawled in next to her. She once again turned around and snuggled into me.
It took along time to fall asleep again but when I did I fell into a dreamless sleep. Worrying about the state that my family was currently in.

Chapter 13! I actually wasn't going to write this out or post this until Wednesday at the earliest but I had nothing to do so I decided to write. So I not only updated my Adopted by Demi Lovato but I also updated this book so I am quite happy about that.
You guys are also amazing by the way! Over 500 reads on the book in total since my last update!! I love you guys!!!!!!

This chapter is dedicated to TaraLake, I read a lot of her fanfics and that are amazing. She is starting another one and I am already in love with it! It only has two or three chapters but it is called One and The Same. Her writing is amazing. I can't wait to read more of her writing and if you guys dont already read her work, I suggest you start reading it because once again it is AMAZING and I am in love with it. It flows extremely well from each chapter and just go check it out.
