lucylingard_ it's one month on since we lost our baby girl and today I found this photo on my phone. This was taken the moment after I told Jess I was pregnant and we were so so excited❤️ If I'd seen this photo 2 weeks ago or even a couple days ago I would've burst out crying and not be able to function for a few hours, but that's how healing works. You have setbacks where you feel like you want the world to swallow you up, you have moments where you don't want to continue but gradually time really does heal you. I'm not saying I don't feel pain when I look at this photo, I wish I could go back to that time where we didn't have a clue what heartbreak we would have to go through, but when I see this photo I'm no longer angry about what happened, I'm grateful that we had such happiness at that time. I'm also glad that I have come out the other side of something so horrific with a positive outlook. Our little girl Evie was meant to be the life after my Grandad's death but somethings aren't a beautiful cliché and that's okay. Not everything in life is going to be perfect and easy but we should appreciate the happy moments because you don't know when the next sad moment will hit you. I know a lot of people want me to continue to talk about what it is like to lose a baby, but me and Jesse want to put this chapter of our lives behind us. I will carry everything I have learnt from this experience with me throughout my life but I refuse to carry the heartbreak, only the appreciation for life and happiness🌟

"I can't believe you've got an away boxing day match" I pouted
"you don't know where it is do you" Jesse chuckled
"what do you mean?" I asked confused
"it's against Tottenham, we can go to London for Christmas" he told me
"wait seriously?" I squealed
"yep, we can travel to London Christmas Eve and spend it with your family" he smiled
"oh my god I'm so excited!" I exclaimed
"I have to stay in the hotel with the lads in the evening on Christmas though" he sighed
"but we can spend the whole morning together with Nate, and then me and Nate can go to my parents and you'll be with the lads. Jess this is so much better than I thought it was gonna be" I said jumping around happily
"you're more of a kid at Christmas than Nate" Jesse laughed
"that's why you love me" I winked kissing him on the cheek
"oh so that's all I get, a pathetic little kiss on the cheek" he moaned
"shut up" I giggled before giving him a proper kiss
"much better" he smirked
"keep it in your pants, your mum's gonna be over to take Nate soon" I chuckled
"and then we'll have the house all to ourselves" he whispered in my ear wrapping his arms around my waist
"Jess c'mon she'll be here soon" I whined
"fine, but this isn't over" he said pointing at me while walking out of the room backwards
"Jesse!" I shouted but it was too late
"ow! who put that wall there" he complained as he fell on the floor
"I did try and warn you" I laughed
"oh that's nice I hurt myself and you just laugh" he frowned
"shut up you know you're not hurt" I giggled
"nope it's fine I see how it is" he said pretending to be mad
"okay if you're so mad at me I'll call Kirst and say she doesn't need to take Nate for us" I said to tease him
"no no no!" he begged grabbing onto my leg
"you're such an idiot" I smiled
"you wouldn't change me for the world" he smirked
"true, but I would like you to stop holding onto my leg" I chuckled
"oh yeah" he laughed
