"Just once, come on" Taylor whines as she stares at me in desperation
"No" I say giving her a deadpan look
Currently, we were sitting at the cafeteria where Taylor has been continuously asking me to go to the club with her and a few other people she met but I'm just not a club person
I don't like drinking all that much and to be honest, I'm not confident enough to dance around people. I just always end up feeling uncomfortable and anxious
She folds her arms against her chest as she pouts glaring at me, "You're no fun" she mutters
"And you're such a damn child" I tease staring at her amusement
I swear all she is missing is a damn teether
She narrows her eyes on me as she dramatically huffs and flips her hair to the side walking away
"Where do you think you're going?" I ask her raising my right eyebrow slightly
"TO CLASS SO I CAN GET AWAY FROM YOUR NEGATIVITY", She screams as she continues to walk away
"Um..Taylor?" I call out
"WHAT?!" She huffs turning around so that she can see me
"Your class is the other way" I state smirking at her
Her eyes widen a bit as her face goes red causing me to bite my lip to try to conceal the grin that wants to so badly appear
She angrily storms back to me muttering an "I knew that" as she continues to storm off in the right direction this time
"Sure you did" I tease

"Partner up in 3, 2, 1"
In a blink of an eye, Mason is next to me grinning from ear to ear
"Hey darling," he says cheekily causing me to let out a small laugh
"Hey Mason"
"Alright, class, you have twenty-one minutes to brainstorm a theme for your projects. Use your time wisely" Mr.Ripkey announces looking at us dully
I wonder if that man ever smiles
I turn my attention to Mason and see him taking out his notes and a pencil
"Alright, I have a brilliant idea!" Mason exclaims looking at me like an excited little puppy
"Yeah? Hit me with it" I say chuckling slightly at his enthusiasm
"Okay how about we do it on rollercoasters?! That way, we can also go to six flags!" He said his eyes wide as his grin widens anticipating my reaction
"Mason," I said slowly causing him to nod his head rapidly
"That's such a great idea oh my goodness!" I exclaim smiling widely at him causing us both to laugh
"We can relate it to kinetic energy, potential energy, Newton's law,--"
"Yes," Mason grins cutting me off "all that mumbo jumbo u just mentioned! YES!"
I laugh at him when all of a sudden my phone chirps and I see I got a message
Meet at the cafe after school
- Blake
Only because you asked so nicely I text back rolling my eyes while a small smile is placed on my lips
"Angela?"
I look up and see Mason looking at me expectedly
"Huh? Oh sorry, Mason, what'd you say?"
"I asked if we should pitch our idea tomorrow to Mr.Ripkey and see if he approves it?"
"yes yes" I nod
My phone chirps once again and I look down and see another text message from Blake
I never claimed to be a gentleman Angela. You of all people should know that by now
I shake my head grinning
"Alright" I said, putting my phone away and turning my attention back to Mason, "What else do we need to brainstorm?"

I sing tapping my thumbs on the wheel as I pull up to the cafe to see Ben and John talking
"Hi" I wave interrupting their conversation
They both look at me with smiles as they both reach for a hug
"Hey kiddo"
"Hey Angela"
"How are you guys?" I ask smiling genuinely at them
"You know me kiddo. I'm always great" John states laughing at the end patting me in the back
"I'm doing good too" Ben adds smiling
"I'm glad" I say smiling "can I please get---"
"Green tea unsweetened venti" Both John and Ben say simultaneously
"yeppp" I say chuckling
"coming right up!"
I smile and walk towards my usual seat and sit down looking around for Blake but there was no trace of him
I'll just wait I thought nonchalantly
I get my drink and start going through my phone trying to find something to waste my time on
As I scroll through Instagram, a voice stops me midway
"Angela am I correct?"
I look up to find the same man that Blake was talking to a few weeks back
Flashback:
"Don't offend me Jaxon. Like I'd ever go for someone like that" Blake's eyes look at me up and down in disgust causing my own eyes to bulge out
"Now, now Blake..let's not be hasty" Jaxon says as he puts his hand on Blake's shoulder gripping it
"She's got something" Jaxon finishes up licking his lips as his eyes once again roam my body
"well then..your standards have surely lowered if you find someone like her even a bit attractive," Blake says coldly glaring at Jaxon
End of Flashback
I nervously nod my head looking at him curiously as he gives me a sinister smile
"I don't think we were properly introduced, I'm Jaxon Fort," he says reaching his hand out for a handshake
I look at his hand and then his face and return my gaze back on his hand
I clear my throat and go to shake his hand as I mutter, "Angela"
He tightens his hold on my hand causing me to look up at him seeing him smile down at me
I think he thought his smile seemed sweet and nice but to be honest, his smile resembled the jokers
He finally let go of my hand and took the empty seat in front of me
"You are a pretty one" he commented but it was as if he was mostly talking to himself than me
"How long have you known my dear friend Blake for?" He asked resting his elbows on the table between us looking at me curiously
"Not long" I say vaguely running a hand through my hair as I take a sip of my tea
"Ah, have you met the wife yet?"
And just like that, I feel myself go pale
I start choking on my drink coughing as the man grins widely at me relaxing back into his seat while my mind is going in circles
WIFE?!
HE HAS A WIFE?!
Oh my goodness...
I'm such an idiot
"I'll that as a no" he states quite amusingly while I sit there trying to control my rapid heartbeat
