His eyes were scanning the room, looking for this one particular girl. His heartbeat synchronized with the beats of the loud music, fast and in no rhythm. All of his friends were on the dancefloor or were sucking some girls face. He took a glance over at the girl with brown curly hair, just straight in front of him but yet still on the other side of the room.
His heart started to beat faster and faster until her eyes met his. With one look at him, Shawns heart melted. Her innocent but still very sweet emerald eyes made his heart fluttered, for the first in forever she noticed him. This was his opportunity.
'Yow dude, let's get some drinks at my place.' His friend hit his shoulder, causing him to break the eye contact. Shawn politely declined and waved at his friends.
He searched yet again for his mysterious girl, just to see her talking to another boy. He rushed over to her and saw how uncomfortable she was around him. 'Hi are you ready?' He asked, trying to free her from that weird young man. She nodded with a big smile and took his hand, electricity ran through his veins with the touch of her skin.
With his fast-beating heart he walked with her out of the club into the dark night of London. 'Thank you for interrupting.' She said out of the blue while she was just admiring her hometown. He looked down at her and saw her eyes shining in the dark. 'Does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes?' With a confused look on her face she met his eyes again, filled with admiration and love. 'What do you think of us, away from here. Just running off to a place where we can live with worrying about everything.'
At first he thought that she was joking but when he looked in her eyes again, he knew that she wanted to run away. With a quick nod and a little kiss on her forehead, they ran off to a place just special for them.
