"Where are we going" I asked klaus hiding my panic "New Orleans so I can wait for the vervain to leave your system and I can compel you" he said I knew I had to find a way to get out of here but that could wait I couldn't exactly go anywhere when locked in a car
"And you want my blood?" I asked he nodded "I'm going to take your blood everyday until I have enough for an ocean" he said smirking "i hope you can swim" I mumbled in annoyance he laughed "it's a shame I quite like you, your funny" he said "I do try" I said sarcastically looking away from his ocean blue eyes
We arrived and he sped over griping on to the back of my arm pushing me into the house I stumbled through the house he finally let go I scanned the room looking for my escape "don't even try it love, your magically locked into this house" he said cockily "dammit" I muttered sitting on his couch "make yourself right at home love" he said glaring at me Slightly "okay" I said sweetly
"Your surprisingly calm" klaus said sitting down a drink in his hand he raised it to his mouth but I grabbed it from his hand and downed the whole thing it was strong but I didn't even flinch he raised an eyebrow waiting for me to cough or something "impressive" he said "how are you so calm" he added
"Do I look like the kind of girl to cry and go running to mommy" I said he chucked lightly "well I've met a doppelgänger who had two brothers falling at her feet and every issue she had was there issue" he said "pathetic" I mumbled "your going to be stuck here for the rest of your life does that not bother you " he questioned "at least I'm not dead and what makes you think I'll be stuck here" I said smugly
"Your seriously don't think your going to escape" he scoffed "so there's these things called friends you might not know what they are but once mine realise I'm missing they'll come looking for me" I said folding my arms and leaning back "I want another drink" I complained
He stood up and poured himself and me a drink he handed me mine and I drank it all instantly the proceeding to drink his I placed down the glasses and he was watching me closely smirking slightly "so if I'm going to be stuck with you for the rest of my life I suppose we should get to know each other better" I told him trying to discover more about him "If we must" he complained
"I'm assuming you know my name" I mumbled he nodded "Kayla clarke" he said leaning back "I'm bored already" I moaned "you had to be a moaner" he scoffed "so what were the other doppelgängers like" I asked "well there was Katherine, she managed to escape me she was sassy rude and badass then there was Elena she was kind would do anything for those she loved, and your somehow a perfect mix of the both" he said looking directly at me
"Interesting" I said standing up I walked to the door placing my hand against the barrier "this really sucks" I mumbled "you handle your drink surprisingly well" klaus said standing up taking the bottle from my hand "when my parents died I turned to drinking" I told him truthfully I cleared my throat "I'm going to bed" I said walking up the stairs to the room I was staying in
