Everly was staying at Sophie me and klaus were driving hope back to her school I was blasting music out as me and hope sang loudly "you two are deafening" he said I laughed and we continued our karaoke session we arrived in mystic falls stopping for food at the mystic grill and guy with brown hair and brown eyes ran over "Elena" he said

"Jeremy this is Kayla" klaus said Jeremy glared at him "sorry my mistake" he said walking off hope sat two girls one blonde one brunette they walked over talking to her happily I smiled at them both a woman who I assumed was there mother walked over "klaus" she said when he saw her "Caroline" he responded smiling at her the same way he did me "Elena" she said when she saw me

"Actually this is the newest doppelgänger, Kayla" klaus said I smiled at her klaus was looking up at her smiling I was watching carefully the woman said hi to hope "so how have you been" Caroline asked klaus "good thanks sweetheart " he responded he called her sweetheart that was the nickname he used for me "excuse me" I said standing up walking to the bath room I couldn't help but listen into there conversation

I walked back through to the restaurant and sat back down they were still talking I sat back in my seat in annoyance "you looked great love" klaus said "you too" she responded Caroline left "I best be off it was great to see you though klaus we'll have to see each other for a catch up soon" she said "absolutely love, it was great too see you too sweetheart" he responded hugging her the two girls left with Caroline I talked to hope not wanting to ruin her day ignoring klaus for now

We dropped her off at her school "you okay"klaus asked "just drive" I responded angrily it wasn't the fact they were talking that bothered me it was the way he looked at her, smiled at her the same way he did me. I was sat right there and but he flirted with her like I wasn't. We arrived back to the house I walked straight in not saying a word to klaus

"Hello" Elijah said smiling at me I said hi back to be polite I went and grabbed my over night bag packing pjs and a change of clothes walking back down the stairs "where are you going" Elijah asked "Sophie's" I responded "come on love let's talk about this" klaus said I sighed "sweetheart" he said i turned to him "don't even call me that" I said walking out the house I sped to Sophie's I walked in and saw Sophie watching tv I hadn't seen her properly in ages I ran and hugged her happily completely forgetting about klaus

When everly awoke the next morning she was surprised to see me she hugged me I had a cup of tea in my hand I stood up "can I come get everly In a bit I have something I need to take care of first" I asked Sophie "yeah of course" she responded I thanked her and sped back to the mikealson compound klaus was sat probably waiting for my return"Kayla" he said speeding over

I sat down head in my hands "are you alright" he asked I sighed "no, I'm furious" I responded angrily "why" klaus said furrowing his eyebrows "are you being serious right now" I asked he looked straight at me "how'd you know Caroline" I asked "an old friend" he responded

"An old friend, don't lie to me you loved her" I said he sighed "how'd you know" he asked "because you look at her the same way you do me, call her love and sweetheart" I said looking down "do you still love her" I asked looking into his blue eyes "no" he said I scoffed "don't lie to me klaus, I saw what you were like with her yesterday I'm not stupid you didn't even introduce me as your girlfriend" I shouted looking away from him

"I was at right there next to you but you flirted with her like I wasn't" I said "I won't be treated like that" I added angrily "I know love, look at me" he said I turned to face him he cupped my cheeks "i love you more than I have ever loved any other you bring out the humanity out in me and make me the best person I can be, when I'm with you I'm happiest you make me laugh and smile like no one else can. I never thought I'd find love like this but am so happy I have and I'll treasure it for the rest of my life that I promise screw it..... Kayla will you marry me" klaus said I found myself smiling uncontrollably I wrapped my arms around his neck kissing him "yes" I said happily I kissed him again

"I love you" I said kissing his cheek "I love you too my love" he responded
