As the tournament began all fighters immediately began to attack anyone they thought was a threat and tried to eliminate them. Thorn was attacked by two members of Universe 2 known as Brianne and Kakunsa, he smirked at the females and said "So you're my opponents? Gee I'm flattered that I require two of you to beat me. But I should warn you....I'm not exactly what you might call a nice guy." They both looked at each other which allowed Thorn to use his instant transmission technique to sneak behind them and attack. While he was able to attack Kakunsa, Brianne was able to get away which made Thorn day out loud "I see....so you're not just a pretty face then? Well guess I can get a bit serious with you two...KAIOKEN!" His aura was visible and a bright red which made Brianne a bit curious about his transformation but just as he went to speak Caulifla arrived and said to Thorn while watching the two from Universe 2 "Mind If I cut in for a bit?" Thorn then said while looking at Brianne "Not at all...I'll take care of the one in the red dress you get her friend." Caulifla nodded and hey both rushed at the two girls who did all that they could to dodge or block their attacks but somehow both Thorn and Caulifla were working as if they been fighting together for years! Brianne finally was able to deliver a kick to Thorn's stomach while Kakunsa was able to dodge away long enough for them to power up into their respective forms. However as they did this Thorn said while watching them "I've had enough of this running bullshit...SUPER KAIOKEN!" He rushed both Brianne and Kakunsa while delivering kicks that sent them upwards and then he delivered a move that he learned from Android 17 called Super Electric Strike which was a wide beam that looked like a slash from a sword that hit both of the fighters and sent them flying off the edge. Thorn powered down and said to Caulifla "Thanks for the assist but I must ask....why did you come to me?" Caulifla then went to speak but was cut off by Thorn pulling her into his chest and using his back as a shield from a small blast that only did very little damage to him. There was an obvious blush on Caulifla as she could see and feel his body while he defended her even though she was an enemy Thorn felt the need to protect her from harm. As the smoke cleared Thorn released his hold on Caulifla and looked at the fighter who attacked him like that, he then noticed that it was one of the other universes fighter that called themselves a hero named Catopesra. Thorn then said to that fighter after stretching his shoulder "So you're the one who shot at me? Big mistake pal, now you're gonna die!" Thorn then channeled his energy and then he transformed into a Super Saiyan which didn't surprise Caulifla but for Catopesra he was a bit terrified of that sudden jump in power but he wasn't scared of the form.
Thorn looked at Catopesra and said to him with a smirk on his face "Come on then hero! Come and fight me!" Catopesra charged at Thorn but almost in an instant Thorn delivered a huge punch to Catopesra's stomach and he said to the fighter "This is gonna hurt you more than it will hurt me!" He kicked Catopesra upwards and then he jumped way above Catopesra and delivered a kick sending the fighter into the ground causing a huge crater, Thorn then powered up to his max and landed next to Catopesra. Just then Thorn used his energy to send a blast through the ring eliminating Catopesra making his universe's God look shocked at this sudden surge of power and the quick elimination. Thorn looked at the hero fighter and said to him "Next time don't piss off someone like me ever again."
(This is what Thorn basically does...similar to Goku's Meteor Impact but in Super Saiyan form.)
Thorn powered down and said to Caulifla while walking towards her "Sorry about that...should've warned you that I would do that." She then said through a blush while also looking away "I bet you say that to all the girls...." Thorn then said while looking serious yet still gentle "Actually I don't to be honest...if you want to know the honest truth, I've only had one girl in my life that I cared for but I lost the chance to be with her when she married my friend Vegeta." Caulifla then said while trying to give Thorn the same expressions "Sorry to hear that....anyways should we try to have a fight now? I know it's a tournament and all but after seeing you handle some fighters I want to have a turn fighting you!" Thorn then said while taking a stance and staying in his base form "Alright then...show me what you can do Caulifla, I'll try not to eliminate you." She smirked and said while taking her own fighting stance "Fine by me! Let's do this!" They both clashed while not realizing that their fight had drawn the attention of Goku who for whatever reason wanted to fight Caulifla as well but he was beaten by his long time friend. As he watched the fight he heard a female voice that sounded sort of timid, he examined where He noise came from and he saw the other Saiyan that was with Cabba and Caulifla named Kale. He said hello to her and nearly scared her to death, Goku then said while motioning an apology "Sorry for scaring you...I just saw you over here and figured you wanted someone to talk to.." kale then said while still a bit nervous "T-Thank you for apologizing, m-my name's Kale....I'm guessing you're G-Goku?" Goku then smiled brightly and said in his usual cheery mood "Yep! So I'm guessing that Caulifla is a friend of yours?" As they were speaking Thorn and Caulifla were clashing fists, arms, and kicks as their fight heated up, Thorn went for a punch but Caulifla sucked underneath and kicked his stomach making his spit out some saliva. She then went for a roundhouse kick but Thorn gathered himself quickly and caught her leg while jumping upwards then tossing her down to the ground, Goku saw this and thought to himself (That's What me and Vegeta do when we fuse into Vegito....when did he see us do that?) Thorn then powered up his Kaioken form and said after landing on the ground "Sorry Caulifla but I never said that I wouldn't have a bit of fun with this fight!" Once she stood up, Thorn charged her and delivered one of Goku's old moves that he did against Frieza on Namek.

Thorn made sure that both the direction she flew plus his Kamehameha didn't cause him to burn to much energy but so he didn't accidentally eliminate her. He kicked her towards a bunch of debris from the earlier fight and then he sent a Kamehameha wave towards her, Caulifla saw this and began to block his attack however she could tell that while it was weak it also had a lot of momentum behind it. She began to slide backwards and scream out for her power to rise to reach her Super Saiyan form but she failed, this made Thorn use instant transmission to grab her quickly and send her back to Kale. When they arrived at Kale's location Thorn was immediately ambushed by a fighter from Universe 11 known as Dyspo, Thorn was sent into a bunch of rocks which made Caulifla nervous but Goku simply said "You might want to stay behind me...when he gets pissed off that's a bad idea to be nearby..." She went to ask what he meant by this but all she heard was a loud scream from Thorn while she felt the ground shake as if there was an Earthquake.

He then said while directly at Dyspo "You should be proud of yourself, only Goku has pushed this far in battle before...." Just then Thorn vanished and before anyone had time to ask where he went, he appeared with his foot being driven into Dyspo's stomach. Goku wasn't shocked by this but Caulifla and Kale were unable to track his fast paced movement, he then said to Dyspo "I'm sorry did that hurt you? Here let me try this!" He then kicked Dyspo on the side of his head and then he said to the Universe 11 warrior "You shouldn't have attacked me like you did because now I'm going to hurt you..." This However shocked Goku as he knew that Thorn's limits when he was angry didn't exist and he could very easily cross the line and kill Dyspo if he wasn't careful. Goku went to intervene but he was stopped when he heard from Thorn who was still looking at Dyspo "Goku if you so much as think of stopping me then you should consider yourself next." This stunned Goku as he had never seen Thorn act this way before, usually when he was angry and in his so called Enraged Super Saiyan it wouldn't take more than some simple words but now Thorn looked as if he would kill everyone including his own teammates. Thorn then said to Pride Trooper "I think I'm gonna enjoy this Dyspo....I don't get a chance to let loose like this!" Thorn then vanished and before Dyspo could try to sense where he was going Dyspo then felt a bean of energy go through him, he looked over his left shoulder and saw Thorn standing there with a Beam Sword and then Dyspo saw a devilish smirk cross Thorn's face as he said to the fighter "I thought you were going to eliminate me Dyspo? If this amount of my speed is too much for you then maybe me being at full speed would kill you." Thorn powered up even more and by accident he achieved his Blue form rather than his Super Saiyan 4 form. This shocked Whis along with Beerus as his rage pushed his power beyond what he could normally do, Whis then said to Beerus in a low voice "My lord it seems that our fighter Thorn has finally crossed the line you mentioned the last time." Beerus closed his eyes and said matching Whis's voice level "It seems he has....Alright then Thorn, show me what your rage looks like." Thorn looked at Dyspo and said just before charging him "This is where we part ways pride trooper! Now fall from the stage!" His attacks were much more crisper and much more perfected while still retaining the rage that he had gathered after being sent into some debris, Dyspo thought to himself while trying to defend himself (Damn! This is the power of those Saiyans? I may need a diversion to escape this!) Just then Thorn delivered a high powered punch to Dyspo's stomach and then he delivered a roundhouse kick that disoriented Dyspo long enough for him to feel an attack that was also from Vegito's fusion that was called Final Kamehameha. Thorn jumped far enough back so that he could charge the attack and once he launched it both Goku and Vegeta were shocked at the fact that Thorn was able to use that attack even though he wasn't a fusion. Dyspo was then eliminated but once he appeared in the stands, Thorn immediately dropped his Blue form while also dropping to a knee and catching his breath. What he knew about the attacks as that it was devastating but what he didn't know was that the attack pulled a big chunk of his energy. Goku rushed over to Thorn along with Caulifla as they both helped him to a place where it was safe form him to rest a bit, as he sat down Thorn then said to Goku "Sorry for earlier Goku....I didn't want you to intervene because I wanted to make that bastard pay for attacking me like he did." Caulifla went to speak but she was a bit distracted by the current outfit of Thorn as she could see his torso which caused her to blush at the thoughts in her mind. Thorn looked at her and said while trying to stand up "I see you came to help out, thanks for the fight earlier Caulifla." She then said after shaking her head "Don't sweat it...it was a good fight until that idiot had to ruin it." Thorn then looked at Kale and said to her "Kale....you mind staying here and keeping me company while I rest? Caulifla why don't you and Goku go spar for a bit?" Goku smiled at this while Caulifla shrugged her shoulders and said "Yeah Alright...I kinda wanted to fight Goku anyways."
