Old Tree
There's an old tree
Bended in the placid meadow.
There where the greenest hills
Are dressed in white and yellow.
Its wide rough body
Carved by the wise years.
Shows the heart of two lovers
Or hides the children's fears.
Branches intertwined,
Flute like arms extended
Play the tunes of a witnessed
Broken heart.
And the world can break apart.
And you will remain... Bended.
Queen of the prairie
Spring crowns you a lady.
Fall undresses you manly
Leaving your naked body
Bended...
The singing birds perched
A serenade regale
And the wind carries the stories
Of an untold Fairytale.
Nature nurture your memories.
And you stand still... bended.
