When Misty's eyes opened she saw Misako standing over her.
"Are you okay Misty?" She asked Misako was the mother of Lloyd and wife to Garmadon.
"I'm fine.." Misty said and she sat up, her face red and she placed her hand over her mouth remembering the nightmare.
Misako nodded and handed her a bowl of noodles and then walked over to Wu to talk to him. Misty picked at her food but didn't eat it.
Then she heard Kai shouting "Noooo!"
She jumped and walked over to him he was still lying down Misty bent down to wake him but a Walliper licked Kai's face.
Kai woke up "Ahh!" he shouted in surprise
He saw Misty standing next to the Walliper "Let me guess a nightmare..." Misty said she stared at the ground pushing the noodles around in her bowl.
"How did you know?" Kai asked
"I had one too it was about---"
"Lloyd." Kai finished for her "Don't worry Misty we're going to get Lloyd back."
"I hope so..." Misty sighed
"Hey where did you get the food from?" he asked and he got up.
"Misako gave it to me."
"I'm glad she got our message," Kai said and he and Misty walked closer to where the group was.
"We put your plate down over there," Nya said and she pointed to a log. When Misty and Kai turned they saw a Walliper slurp up a noodle. Kai groaned
"Do you want mine? I didn't eat it." Misty offered her bowl to Kai
"I don't want to take your food," Kai said
"I'm not hungry here take it," Misty said and she handed the bowl to Kai
"Thank you, Misty," Kai said
"No problem."
"As far as I knew the tomb was only a fable until I saw what's on the staff," Misako said
"Does she know what the symbol means?" Kai asked Jay and Cole
"Not the last two yet. But get this the first symbol means Airjitzu" Cole said
"Airjitzu?" Kai said he sounded confused a looked at the paper that Misako was holding
"A lost martial art created by Sensei Yang, who passed years ago if mastered, it allows one to temporarily take flight," Misako explained
"Hear that Kai? We get to fly!" Jay cheered
"I'm scared of heights...." Misty muttered
"You haven't found it yet the scroll of Airjitzu is well-guarded in the ancient Library of Domu." Wu said
"Forgive me if I speak out of turn...but my records reveal it was recently stolen," Zane said
"By who?!" Jay asked
"Let me guess Ronin," Cole said
"Who's Ronin?" Nya asked
"Let's just say he's not a friend," Kai answered
"But this is good news!" Jay said
"Uh, how so?" Cole asked
"Because if Morro doesn't know this he'll be heading to the Library," Jay explained
"And Ronin's most likely holed up in the village of Stiix we have a head start!" Cole said
"Then it's set the ninja will head Stiix we three will head back to the tea shop and start deciphering the next clues," Wu said
"But I'm Lloyd's friend too the ninja will need my help to---" Nya began
"I'm sorry Nya you're sitting this one out there's too much to be done here," Wu said
Cole, Jay, Zane, Misty climbed onto their Wallipers, Kai approached his "Ah, okay standstill" he said and he struggled to get on and fell off the other side he was finally able to climb on. "Don't worry sis, with me in charge this scroll will be ours in no time." Kai said,
"cause time files when you know Airjitzu get it?" Jay said and laughed
No one was laughing.
"Be careful, ninja for the path we seek is never a straight line rely on each other to guide your way," Wu said
The Wallipers trotted off but Kai's stood still.
"Wait up! I'm supposed to be leading here!" Kai shouted
Misty slowed down and waited for him.
"Thank you again Misty," Kai said Misty was riding next to Kai when he asked
"Did Lloyd finally get around to asked you out, before he was possessed?"
"Oh, yeah he did how did you know?" Misty asked
"Lloyd was telling me how he was trying to find the best way to ask you out," Kai said with a laugh.
"He said we'd have dinner together, and he promised me he'd come back.." Misty said
"He did Misty... just not as himself," Kai said
All of a sudden the other ninja started singing. After a while, it started to become annoying. "92,898 bottles of tea on the wall 92,898 bottles of tea, you take one down pass it around 92,8---"
"Enough! I'm really thirsty so we don't need to keep singing about tea! We've been following the sun for hours we should have arrived at Stiix already." Kai shouted
"But Stiix is on the eastern coast we should be riding away from the sun," Zane said
"Why are you just telling us now!?" Jay screamed as he stopped his Walliper.
"Because Kai wanted to lead," Zane said matter-of-factly.
"Great we're officially lost! you know we had a leg up, but nooo Kai wanted to lead!" Cole shouted
"I swear my gut says we should be following the sun!" Kai said
Jay scoffed and said, "You're arguing with a Nindroid he's a walking computer why is it when Lloyd's gone, we look to Kai we should really following Zane?"
"You know, he is the most logical choice." Cole said, "What do you think Misty?"
"I don't care who's in the lead as long as we get to where we need to be." She answered
Zane turned his Walliper the other way and began walking.
Kai kept arguing but eventually agreed to follow Zane.
They followed Zane and came across a railroad
"Train tracks," Cole said
"They lead straight to Stiix," Zane said
"Hey you hear that Kai they lead to Stiix we follow Zane look what happens," Jay said
"But Sensei said the path we seek is never a straight line," Kai said
"He also said rely on each other guide," Zane said and they started to follow the train tracks.
"Yeah, Kai!" Jay said
And they started singing again. It was now night.
"No more bottles of tea on the wall!" Even Kai was singing
"That was enjoyable Let's do it again," Zane said
"No!" the rest of them shouted
"Uh.. I wish Lloyd was here for that." Jay said
"So do I, but we'll find the tomb, and then we'll save him," Kai assured them
"I wonder why the tomb is so important," Cole said
"I don't know sensei says it holds unspeakable power," Jay said
"It's the tomb of the First Spinjitzu Master whatever secret it holds, it must be protected," Kai said they had reached a small building and water tower.
"Let's take a break here," Zane said
They got off the Wallipers and walked onto the platform.
They heard laughter.
"Uh.. did you hear that?" Cole asked
"Yeah I did, but we're in the middle of nowhere," Jay said
"I don't know, be on guard," Kai said
All of a sudden a huge motorcycle appeared a ghost was on it and had a weapon a blade attached to a chain. It charged toward them Zane tried to throw a Shuriken but it flew through the ghost.
"Watch out!" Kai shouted and the dove out of the way.
"My shurikens, they went right through him!" Zane said
"Because he's a ghost!" Jay shouted
"Morro must have summoned some friends! We're sitting ducks out in the open we need to take shelter! watch out!" Kai said and they fell backward as the motorcycle sped toward them.
"Oh guys he's coming for another past!" Jay shouted as they got back to their feet.
The ghost destroyed the small building.
"This is madness!" Misty shouted
"There is no shelter!" Cole shouted the blade came close to them and the ninja dodged it.
The blade wrapped around one of the Walliper's horns and it was turned into a Ghost.
"He turned my Walliper into a ghost no one turns my Walliper into a ghost!" Cole shouted Jay shooed the animals away.
the ninjas had their swords drawn.
"Where did he go?! I can't see him." Kai said
"Stay together!" Zane said
"If our weapons do nothing how are we supposed to fight a ghost?!" Jay shouted
"Good question." Cole said, "There he is watch out!"
The chain wrapped around Kai's ankle and dragged him off the platform Kai was able to get the chain off before it changed him into a Ghost though. "I'm okay! I'm okay everyone!" Kai shouted
"He's gonna pick us off one by one isn't he there's nothing we can do!" Cole said
"Just like in horror movies," Misty muttered
"He's underground!" Kai shouted and he jumped out of the way.
Cole caught the blade with his sword and hooked it to the water tower's leg. The ghost was pulled off the motorcycle and fell to the ground. the ghostly form of the motorcycle changed back. The ghost got up but before it could do anything the train came and hit the ghost. They cheered. "Now, that's how you stop a ghost!" Cole said
But the ghost appeared laughing evilly. "you think a train can stop a ghost your world will pay when Morro finds the tomb and when he does, he will take possession of the---" The ghost said as he pulled his weapon which was still hooked on the water towers leg. The tower fell and the water fell onto the ghost and it exploded into green goop.
"Uh, w-what just happened?" Cole asked
"He went kablooey," Zane said
"Yeah, but he was just gonna tell us what was in the tomb couldn't have waited another second?" Jay complained
"We may not know what's in the tomb but we do know one thing how to stop a ghost," Kai said
"Water?"
"Unusual, I guess it's true the path we seek is never a straight line," Zane said
"Uh speaking of straight lines if that train is heading to Stiix wouldn't be faster if we---" Jay started to say
And they ran after the train.
"Stiix here we come!" Misty cheered
