Luna P.O.V
I felt like crying, but thankfully I held my tears back. Opening the door expecting to see the worst, my eyes widened.
There is no woman here, only Asher on his office chair with an annoyed face, glaring at another man, who was sitting on one of the chairs in front of the office desk.
their gaze shifted towards me. Asher quickly stood up and walked up to me
" Luna! what a surprise I am so glad to see you here," he said as he put me in a sweet hug but I didn't hug back, he backed away watching me confused
" You alright? Are you sick or feeling unwell?" I opened my mouth to ask about what just happened now, but there was someone else here, I was too embarrassed to ask that in front of someone I don't even know.
" I-I came here to tell you my parents invited us over for dinner... that was it, I-I will leave now, sorry if I interrupted you, " I said as I tried to walk away, but he caught my wrist stopped me from leaving
" wait.. we will leave together, ok? Why won't you sit down here? I have some works left and we will leave, hmm?" I look at him and didn't say anything, I only nodded
What can I say? Saying no won't make anything less painful than it already is. And I just want to be somehow surer
" Luna, meet my Best friend and my right hand in the company Mason, Mason meet my beautiful fiancée Luna " I look over to Mason who stood up and walked towards us, I brought my right hand up offering a handshake
" it is a pleasure, Sir," I said, he took my hand, but kissed my knuckles instate.
" The pleasure is all mine," he said with a wink making me give him a small smile. But before I could say anything else, Asher took my hand away from Mason's hand as he stood in front of me.
" You may leave now," Asher said rather harshly, but I only heard Laughter from Mason
" ok, chill bro, I won't eat her, anyways! I will leave and do the tasks you asked me to do. again it was nice to meet you Luna, nice to see someone got my boss as no one else does. please beat him up anytime you had a chance because- OUCH " he was cut off by Asher stepping on one of his feet
Poor Mason.
" rude boss, BYE LUNA!!" He then run out make me laugh a bit, god! he seems like someone fun to be around
" don't listen to him, just sit down love, you want to drink something? "Asher's voice was all it took to bring my mood down to 0 degrees, i shook my head
I can't drink anything...
I walked away from him and sat down on one of the couches in his office, he was still standing there watching me confused
" You sure you are ok?" He asked once more
" I am, now please do your works so we can leave soon" I responded and he did as I said, walking over to his office chair, he sat down before starting working on his laptop and documents on his desk.
Maybe I am overreacting, maybe it is not what I think it is.
" Aish! I can't do this anymore, can I ask you a question?" He looked at me confused
" go ahead," he said
" Before I came in I heard a woman voice, but I see no one, what was that ?" I asked dying to know the answer
" women voice ? " he thought about it for a minute, killing me even more
" oh, you might talk about the movie Mason was watching?" He said and I facepalmed myself to think otherwise, of course, there must have been something like that. I mean if there was a woman, where will she escape to? throw herself out of the window or something?
" wait, was that why you were mad at me? You thought there was a woman here ?" He looked so curious.
" whatever, be done soon, dad hates when someone is late " he just nodded and start working once more, I was playing on my phone when I got a text from Jenny
Jenny: ' hey, girl how are you ?'
' I am fine, what are you doing ?' I replied
Jenny: ' nothing much, you will come to the excursion right? Because if you won't go I wouldn't go either. And I am really excited about it, so please come...'
I couldn't help but chuckle, this girl
' ok I will tell Asher later and I will come, no worries I am 18, after all, I can decide for myself ' that is right, I mean there is nothing wrong with me deciding for myself anyways
"Who are you talking with ?" Asher asked making me look over to him.
" oh, Jenny no one else, " I said as I quickly wrote a goodbye to Jenny.
" ok, I am done let's go then," he said I nodded as I stood up and waited for him so we can walk out together. he came to my side holding my hand in his, we then started walking out of his office and out of the company without any of us uttering a word.

Asher parked his car in one of the garages in my parent mansion, and I was dead excited! I didn't know how much I missed this house till now. I got out and so did Asher we made our way towards the front door of the house.
Asher was walking slowly for my liking that is why I held his hand in mine so we can walk faster together.
" Wow, calm down Luna," he said sounding amused and for him, I slowed my speed a bit. As soon as we got in front of the door I wanted to open it quickly and go in, I have the keys with me, so no problem at all.
" wait," he said as he clicked the doorbell, but why doorbell? we can just get in.
" you are with me and I am still a stranger for this house, don't you think it is better if we walk in, this way ?" Oh, that makes sense, my fiancé is smart.
The door opened by no other than Jax himself, my eyes sparkled at seeing him.
" Jax, you are here too," I said as I gave him a tight hug and he hugged back
" I am, after all, this is my home too. ohh, Mr.Adrain what a pleasure! please come in " he said as we backed away from the hug, Well if you guess Asher might be glaring right now, you guessed right.
" thank you," Asher said the moment i looked at the hallway in front of us my eyes light up immediately once more. My Alpha, I missed him so, so much!
He was here in the hallway, god! How beautiful he is! I left them both, quickly walking towards my Alpha and I soon carried him in my arms
" my little Alpha, how are you? You grew up, I swear you were such a baby. did you miss me ?" I asked and he seemed to recognize me pretty well, he growled softly while licking one side of my face
" cute ", I heard a voice clearing behind me
" shall we enter now, " Jax said, with his eyes pointing at the person beside him and dang Asher looked pissed, but why? did something happen?
" We shall, but Asher look at Alpha isn't he grown up now? Can we please take him back with us? I hate being away from him " I brought Alpha in front of him while giving him my puppy eyes, his glare disappeared in no time, he touched my head softly like he was patting my head.
" anything that makes you happy," he said with a warm smile
" oh god! I will just leave now," Jax said as he ran inside
" drama queen, anyways let's go now " we entered being greeted by everyone

After dinner, my mom certainly asked us to stay here overnight and so we agreed. I mean this is my home, I would love to stay, but I didn't say anything fearing Asher might feel uncomfortable, but he didn't say anything either.
So I will sleep in my old room and Asher in a guest room, I was disappointed somehow, I mean the best sleep I have ever get is when I am sleeping in his arms. But I won't die with one night, now will I?
I decided to read one of my favorite book "Lycan mate"
I don't know why? but the moment I start reading it I suddenly remembered Leo. I somehow badly wanted to see him again, he is my lifesaver, after all.
I continued reading it and this book is a masterpiece, bless the author all the way from here.
I heard a knock on the door " come in " I said and i was somehow confused by seeing Jack coming in.
What is he doing here?
