Suddenly, the doors opened. There was a white petal trail leading to the altar. Everyone stood up. I felt a gentle tap behind me.
"Hey Clare Bear" said my Dad.
I immediatly hugged him and said,"You came!"
He replied,"I wouldn't miss it for the world" he then he gave me his arm so he could walk me down the aisle.
I slipped my arm in his and started walking. Everyone in the pews were smiling at me. Once we reached the altar, Dad sat down right in the front.
"We are gathered here today to celebrate this wonderful couple" said the Pastor.
Eli smiled at me, and I smiled back. "Do you, Clare Diana Edwards, Take Elijah Goldsworthy, to love and to hold,
In sickness and in health?" Asked the Pastor.
I said,"I do" and couldn't stop smiling.
Then he asked Eli,"Do you, Elijah Goldsworthy, take Clare Diana Edwards, to love and to hold, in sickness and in health?"
Eli replied,"Yes, I do"
"I will now pronounce you, husband and wife, you may kiss the bride" finished the pastor.
Eli and I kissed for a long time. When we were done, we walked back down the aisle hand in hand.
We had beginned our futures and i'm happy that he is a part of mine.
