I look up when the bell chimes and see Lance walk in. He goes up to the counter to greet Hunk before standing to the side to wait for his coffee. Once he gets it he makes his way towards me.
"What are you doing?"
"Trying to think of ideas."
"For what?"
"A project at the end of the year."
"What's it about?"
"Something you love and expressing it."
I set my pencil down and look up at him. He's watching me with calculating eyes before responding.
"What do you have so far?"
I toss my sketchbook over to him and he looks through it.
"The last few pages are ideas."
When he reaches one he looks up and lets out an amused chuckle.
"There's a lot of sketches of Kosmo and hippos."
"That's because I can't think of anything else."
I groan while reaching out towards my now cold hot chocolate.
"I don't know what to do."
"How about you try people?"
I look up at that.
"People?"
"Yeah. Like Shiro or some other people that mean a lot to you. Do Bob Ross for all I care. If you love it express it in a way that you love. Your favorite style or whatever it is you do."
"You know, you're surprisingly good at saying inspirational things."
He grins and hands me back my sketchbook.
"One of my many perks."
