One year later...
This was quite a year for all of us. Mike and I have been together for one year now. Unbelievable. Our secret dating though didn't last long. One of the paparazzi's caught us together one night when we were out. And well just like Mike said there were many people against it. Other than our friends and family that approved it. But the world there were a few who accepted it. Mike and I took a picture together. We posted it on his profile and said happy one year baby tagging me into it. Mike and I know that there will be people who wouldn't say nice things. But we didn't let it get to us. Our love was stronger than that.
It's Leila's 4th birthday today. Mike was busy getting himself ready with Otis. While Tyler gets himself ready. Otis is like 6 years old now and Tyler is 12 years old. Time really did fly. Tyler looks a lot like Chester every day. He also dresses more and more like him every day. So I guess apart of Chester did stay behind.

Mike had on black jeans with a black shirt and the red flannel shirt I got for him over Christmas.
Mike wore that shirt every chance he got.
We get everything ready for the party. Set up the table and put out plates and whatever you might need for a 4-year-old party. And well my brother and Sammy finally got a little boy. He is 5 months now.
Soon our guests arrived. The guys from the band. My dad and his new girlfriend. He has been seeing her a while now. They met through one of his group sessions. Sammy, my brother and their son. Maddie and her newlywed husband. They got married 2 months ago. And Mike is totally okay with it. I guess it's because he has me now.
We lid the candles on the cake and we sang Leila happy birthday. She blows out the candles and all of us grab some cake and snacks. We all catch up. Mike not leaving my side. Clinging on me while we talk to everyone. And even more when we talk to Maddie and her new husband.
Everyone leaves soon and I went to put Leila down for a nap. Otis and Tyler played some video games in the living room. Mike busy cleaning up.
I went to help him after I got Leila down for her nap. I go into the kitchen. Mike takes a plate with a small piece of cake and he hands it to me.
"Oh, baby. I can't eat any more cake."
"Look closer." He says and I look at him confused and then down to the cake.
On top of the cake were these beautiful diamond ring.
I gasp in awe holding my hands over my mouth and he takes the ring from the cake. He puts the cake on the island and he gets on one knee.
"Will you be with me and spend the rest of our lives together and take on whatever challenge life gives us on together. Forever and always?
He asks. I nod my head with tears in my eyes. He gets up and puts the ring on my finger and I jump into his arms. I wrap my arms around his neck and wrap My legs around his waist.
"Yes, I'll marry you." I said and I kissed him.
We are engaged now.
