"You need to let go," I exclaimed to Drew. "Never! I love you remember," he exclaimed. I let the tears run down my cheek as he smiled at me with that helplessly in love smile I crave. "Please Drew! You have to let me go! Do it for me," I exclaimed. He couldn't argue because we heard a piercing scream.
"That was Abby," I exclaimed in shock. "It couldn't be. You know how she's been," Drew said. I brushed his comment off and looked back. We were still running but the enemy was getting closer. They whispered my name and I knew what I had to do.
"Drew you need to let me go," I said and forced him to look at me with my words. He looked over but didn't stop running. "Be reasonable Halo. This isn't the time. We'll get out together. I promise," he said. As much as I wanted to believe him, I couldn't. The enemy surrounded us and we came to a halt. A girl stepped out of the darkness and said, "Hand her over. Now."
Drew flew back and I screamed. Drew wasn't getting up and it's all my fault. I tried to run towards him but the darkness was engulfing me. "Don't worry," the girl said, "We have plans for you dear sister."
