Still (Y/N)'s POV
It had been four days since I woke up from my mini-coma. I'd get frequent visits from Benny, Sally and Slenda which was nice. I even got a quick visit from Jess, who came by to apologise. It seemed uncharacteristic of her, but given how awkward and messy the apology turned out I was sure she meant what she said. Unsurprisingly however, none of the others came to see me. I understood why, I probably gave them a scare them when Nightmare took control. I started to feel hungry as I played on my phone but I did my best to ignore it, Benny would probably come check on me soon.

(Time skip brought to you by that one voice on SpongeBob)

"Fuck it, I'm doing it myself. It's been almost a week; I'll be fine" I mumbled to myself after waiting half an hour for someone to hopefully show up and help me. With a rumble of my stomach, I threw my covers to the side and swung my legs off the bed. "I better not fucking fall again" I muttered as I stood up. Getting to my feet, I did my best to stand up straight. I wobbled slightly as I got up, but I regained my balance after a little bit of stumbling. I walked over to the mirror and looked at myself, analysing every aspect of my body. 'Looks like I'm healthy again. I guess with the help of Babysitter Benny, I've recovered pretty well' I thought as I looked at my arms, that no longer looked like just bone. With a final stretch, I walked out of my door and into the hall. 'Oh shit! My mask!' I mentally panicked. I did a quick 180 and went back into my room and began to rifle through my drawers. 'Not in here... not here... maybe the desk?' I thought, turning towards... well the desk. Walking up to it, I saw my mask placed neatly on the centre on my desk with a rose and a note by the side of it. The note read:

'Dear (Y/N),
It's been a few days since you've been in bed and Ann said it'll be good for you to get up and about again. We've all seen you without your mask due to the 'incident' so you don't really need to wear it anymore, you look a lot better without it anyway. And because I'm AMAZING, I've even left you out some clothes. It's the black shirt and sweat pants that's under your mask, you're welcome. Also, I know that you're self-conscious about your scars, so here's a reminder to change your bandages. You kind of burnt one arm of them when you used a whole ass fireball.
Either way, I hope you feel better.
Lots of love,

-your favourite waifu, Best-Girl-Benny xoxo'

'Well that's... sweet I guess' I thought as I picked up the mask and clothes before putting them back on. As if to remind me why I got up in the first place, my stomach let out a massive rumble. Holding my stomach, I let out a little laugh at the noise as I walked to my door. As I strolled through the house, I couldn't see anyone around. 'Strange' I thought, looking left and right as I traversed the building. 'I'll deal with that when I'm not starving' I thought, getting to the kitchen and rifling through the cabinets. "Mmm, waffles" I muttered, pulling a box out of the cabinet and tossing them in the toaster. While they were toasting, I was searching around to put whatever I wanted on my waffles. Eventually, I found some toppings. After getting everything lined up and grabbing a plate, a nice little pinging noise caught my attention. Licking my lips, I pulled the waffles out of the toaster, but after I grabbed them I threw them in the air and let them fall onto the plate. "Fuck, still hot" I muttered as I chuckled a little at my stupidity. After catching both waffles, I pulled my mask down and set the plate down on the counter and put whatever my toppings on the first one, drooling slightly at the sight.

I picked it up to take a bite, but voice behind me made me jump and drop it back onto the plate. "W-w-what a-are y-you doing!?" a stuttering voice behind me yelled. I pulled my mask back up and turned to see one of the girls I didn't know about yet, probably one of the ones who's gender was incorrect online.
"Eating some food" I said with a shrug.
"A-are you e-eating m-my waffles?" she said angrily.
"Maybe. Why?" I asked, crossing my arms. A shadow was cast over her eyes and she twitched slightly, then she pulled out two hatchets from behind her back.
"You're dead" she said, completely stutter-free.
"Nope" I said, grabbing the plate and darting past her.
"G-get back h-here!" she yelled, closing in on me.
"Sorry but no!" I called over my shoulder.

"Y-you little b-bitch!" she yelled as a hatchet whizzed through the air towards me. Turning my head to see it spinning at me, a smirk crept across my face.
"That's me" I said smugly, doing a running 360 and catching the weapon with my free hand as it caught up to me. "And this is mine until you learn how to behave" I added, running backwards and waving it around.
"Fuck y-you!" she said, clearly annoyed at me.
"I have a rule. Take me on a date first~" I said with a wink, making her go slightly red and slow down a bit. "Buh-Bye now!" I added, bolting up the stairs and running straight to my room. "Phew" I said, getting inside and locking the door behind me. As I sat against the door and wiped my forehead with my arm, I looked at the plate of food next to me and smiled. "Waffle ti- SHIT!" I yelled as a hatchet smashed through the door above me multiple times, forcing me to move away from where I was sat. After the axe was removed from the door, a familiar face peered through the crack.
"Heeeeeere's T-Tami~" she said, hitting the hole again, making it larger.
"What the fuck, Tami!?" I exclaimed.
"Y-you took m-my waffles!" she yelled back, still whacking the door.
"Do you want them back!? I haven't eaten them yet!" I said, grabbing the plate and holding it in her line of sight. She stopped hitting the door and analysed the plate through the door.

"C-c-can I have m-my hatchet b-back as w-well?" she asked, lowering her weapon.
"Yeah, I was planning in giving it back anyway" I said, grabbing it off of the floor. I cautiously unlocked and opened the door and held out the plate and axe for her to take. "Here you go" I said simply.
"Th-thanks... and h-here" she said, tearing one of the waffles in half and giving it to me.
"Thanks" I said, pulling my mask down and putting the whole thing in my mouth at once. "Glad we could come to an understanding" I added, pulling my mask back up.
"M-me t-too" Tami said, stuffing her face with the waffles.
"Was breaking my door really necessary?" I asked, still chewing what was in my mouth.
"Y-you had i-it coming, y-you took my w-waffles" she answered, still chewing her own food.
"Hey, in my defence, I didn't know they were yours" I said with a shrug.
"Y-you d-didn't see m-my name in p-p-purple sh-sharpy on th-the box?" she asked, finally swallowing.
"I haven't eaten right in forever, I was too hungry to read" I explained, turning around and looking for something to use to cover up the hole.
"W-want me t-to bring you s-s-something real qu-quick?" she asked kindly.
"If you wouldn't mind" I said, a smile under my mask as I gave her a thumbs up over my head.
"N-no problem" she said with a kind smile as she turned to leave and skipped down the hall.

As I rifled through my drawers once again, I couldn't find anything to use initially. However, after a few moments more I managed to find a few rolls of duct tape. 'If you don't take sound proofing into account, this should work perfectly' I thought as I looked for the edge of the roll. After a little bit of continuous picking at the circle, my nail eventually caught a slight lip. "Aha!" I said aloud, glad that I found the edge. Pulling the edge away from the roll, it loudly made the tape noise as plenty of tape was unfurled in my hands. "If I've learned anything in life, it's if you can't fix something with tape... then you're not using enough tape" I mumbled with a smirk as I walked to my door.

(Time skip brought to you by Tami somehow setting a glass of water on fire)

"Aaaaaaaaand, done!" I said after putting the last strip of tape on the door. As if it was on a timer, I heard some footsteps approaching me as soon as I finished 'fixing' the door.
"I-I got you s-some food" Tami's voice said from behind me.
"Thank you very much" I said, turning around and taking a plate out of her hands. Looking at it, I saw some plain yet very burnt toast stacked unevenly on the plate. Looking up from the 'food', I saw Tami looking at me with some very hopeful and expecting eyes. Bracing myself for what I was about to put in my mouth, I pulled my mask down and took a large bite out of a piece. My eyes widened I as I felt the 'toast' touch my tongue, it was somehow hot and cold at the same time. 'Fucking hell! It tastes like someone took a shit on a piece of charcoal!' I mentally screamed, trying not to show any disgust or discomfort on my face... even if it had turned to ash after mixing with my saliva.
"D-do you like i-it?" Tami asked me innocently. Swallowing whatever I could, I gave a thumbs up and nodded in approval of what she made, even though I began to tear up slightly.
"It's... great" I said, my voice becoming more and more raspy.
"R-really!?" she asked, seeming very happy at my answer.
"Y-yeah, it's... awesome" I said, doing my best to keep a straight face.
"H-hang on o-one sec, I n-need to g-get B-Benny" she said, darting to Benny's room and bursting through the door without even knocking.

I couldn't hear anything at first, until I heard Benny yell out in surprise. I watched her practically leap out of her doorway and run to me. "Gimme!" she said, snatching a slice of 'toast' off of the plate. Tami stood next to her with the same look of hope on her face as she stared at Benny taking a bite. I watched and saw Benny's eyes widen as she turned to look Tami in the eyes. "Tami..." Benny said simply, her mouth full.
"Y-yeah?" Tami responded, confused about what was about to happen. Benny then spat all of the ashes that were in her mouth onto Tami's face. "Ewww!" Tami said, wiping her face with her sleeve.
"(Y/N), are you alright? The last time someone ate something that Tami made, Ann had to look after them for a month!" Benny asked me, a look of concern growing across her face
"I-I'm alright, the food wasn't that bad" I said despite my voice being extremely hoarse.
"You sound like you just inhaled twelve buckets of sand! I'm gonna go get you some water!" Benny replied, immediately dashing down the corridor.
"W-was it r-really that bad?" Tami asked, looking slightly sad.
"If it makes you feel any better, I've both made and had worse" I said, patting her head a little.
"Th-thanks, I guess..." she said, pulling me into a hug.
"No need to thank me, I was just stating the facts" I said chuckling a little as I returned the hug.
"N-no, I mean prete-tending to l-like the f-food" she explained, burying her head into my chest.
"It's no problem, Benny made it seem much worse than it actually was. And either way, you looked so cute, I didn't want to make you sad" I explained.
"C-c-c-cute!?" she exclaimed, backing up from the hug while she was bright red. "I-I'm not c-cu- WOAH" she was cut off by Benny running right past her at a speed that would've put an Olympic runner to shame.
"Here! Drink this!" she said, handing me a glass of water and resting her hands in her knees as she caught her breath.
"Heh, thanks" I said, then proceeding to down the whole glass. Letting out a long breath after I had finished, I pulled my mask back up. "Much better" I said, leaning on my doorframe.

Benny stared at me in disbelief. 'Holy shit! How is he still standing!?" I heard her think.
"Because the food really wasn't as bad as you made it out to be" I answered aloud.
"Can you stop reading my mind for one day?" she asked, clearly annoyed.
"Can you stop thinking about me for one day?" I retorted, making her blush a little.
"Hey it's not my fault tha-"
"H-he c-can read m-minds!?" Tami exclaimed from behind Benny, simultaneously cutting her off.
"Yup" I said flatly.
'CAN YOU HEAR WHAT I'M THINKING RIGHT NOW!?' she mentally yelled at me.
"Yes, yes I can. And there's no need to yell, even if it's in your mind" I explained, wincing a little at the volume.
"Oh yeah, I forgot you and some of the other haven't formally met him yet" Benny said, turning around to Tami.
"And now that I'm recovered, I think it's appropriate to get the rest of the introductions out of the way" I said with a shrug.
"Good idea! I'll go get them all to meet in the living room. And you can get some edible food while I do" Benny said, turning back to me.
"While that is what I'm gonna do, stop being mean to Tami, damn" I said, walking past her.
'He's cute when he sticks up for people' I heard Benny think.
"I heard that, Benny" I called over my shoulder, a smug grin back under my mask.
"Stop reading my mind!" she yelled at me.
"Then stop thinking about me!" I called back as I got to the stairs and began to make my way down. I heard Tami giggle behind me as I lightly jogged down the stairs, only for her laughter to be followed up by an embarrassed Benny yelling at her. I snickered a little as I reached the bottom of the stairs, still hearing Benny yell.

Walking to the kitchen, I hummed a tune as I rustled through the cupboards in search of some decent food. "Get a bag of chips" I heard a new and demonic voice say. Whipping around to where I heard it come from, I saw... no one. There was no one else in the kitchen, nor the hallway where I heard the voice from. "Well? You getting chips or no?" I heard the same voice say.
"Who the fuck said that?" I asked, my tone matching theirs.
"It's ya boy, Nightmare. And I'm in your head, asshat!" he said, his evil and maniacal laugh echoing throughout my head after his explanation.
"Get. The fuck. Out!" I yelled, slamming head onto the counter.
"Ahahahaha!" he laughed again at my response. "You think it'll be that easy? That only worked last time because I was running out of time! I've lived in your head for years, dumbass, yOu'Re noT goNnA geT rId oF Me tHaT eaSilY" he explained, his voice becoming distorted as he seemingly got more excited.
"Why only start talking to me now then?" I asked, getting more and more annoyed with every word he said as I rubbed my forehead in pain.
"You grew up, voices in your head can make you more psychotic now that you've matured. The more of your sanity that slips away... tHe eAsiEr iT'lL bE to TaKe oVEr" he explained, his voice once again becoming distorted after his 'dramatic pause'.

"Actually it would've made more sense when I was younger, you know, the whole losing my sister, trying to wake up my dead mom and having my dad walk out on me. Having all of that happen within two years really fucked up my mental state. So adding voice that had a real conscious rather than all the other ones I had would've driven me to insanity much faster... oh but you didn't think of that... did you?" I explained, only to receive no response. "Aww what's wrong, Nightmare? Mental cat got your tong-" I was interrupted by my right hand punching me across my face.
"Now, would you kindly get us some chips?" Nightmare asked smugly.
"Ass-wipe" I mumbled as I grabbed the first bag of chips I could, too hungry to continue arguing. After getting no response at my comment, I tore open the bag of chips and turned around to leave for the living room. At least that was until I saw someone who was stood directly behind me. "Hello there, Angel, how... long have you been stood there?" I asked, concerned about how silent the room had been other than me talking to Nightmare.
"Long enough to watch you slam your head on the counter, argue with the wall and punch yourself in the face" she said, crossing her arms. "Care to explain that?" she asked, leaning forward.
"You heard my half of the argument, you know more than enough" I said bluntly, walk past her towards the living room.

"Hey! Where are you going!?" Angel yelled as she followed me down the hall.
"Living room, I'm meant to be meeting the rest of my housemates" I said simply, turning into the desired doorway. "And it seems everyone else is here" I said, looking into the room and seeing everyone I hadn't formally met and Slenda sat down. Looking at Slenda, my expression immediately saddened after looking back at her sling. "Well, I already know most of you here, aside from you" I stated flatly, pointing to one of the monochrome clowns at the end. "So let's start there, who might you be?" I asked.
"The name's Laughing Jax! I like candy and murdering kids!" she said joyously.
"Jax and Jack... I see..." I mumbled to myself.
"Say wha?" Jax asked, wondering what I said.
"Ah it's nothing important, don't worry" I said with a light chuckle and a dismissive wave. "But I know the rest of you" I explained. "Ann, Tami, Angel and Jill" I said as I pointed to each person as said their name.
"How did you know?" Ann asked, leaning forward in her chair.
"Story for another time. But either way, the name's (Y/N) (L/N). Don't bother me and I won't bother you, be nice to me and I'll be nice to you. I'm sorry about the incident, but I hope we can all get along well from here on out. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to" I said with a bow and, with that, I walked out of the room and towards the stairs. As I pulled down my mask and ate my chips, a thought crossed my mind.

'Let's hope they're not too mad at me'
