I saw dad on the table when I went down, Alvin was also waiting for me for breakfast "Morning dad" I greeted as I sat down.
Dad was reading the newspaper. "Rixanne called me “dad said "You're prioritizing your date rather than the company"
"It's beyond my working hours"
"You should always prioritize the company than anything else!"
There was silence as dad yelled
"Alvin"
"Yes dad" Alvin answered
"When will you marry Rixanne?"
"We're not still ready for that"
"And when will?"
"Where both busy"
"Busy for what?" dad said as he crumpled the newspaper "You have no work to be busy with!"
"That's why I can't still marry Rixanne. I don't have money to raise a family"
"But Rixanne have"
"I'm not still ready dad. Just give me time"
"Make sure you'll marry her" Dad said
(Later at the office)
"Hmm." I stop typing and stretch out for a while when Rixanne went to my office
"I need a report for the Castro brothers" she said
I looked at her "I'll just put it into your table"
"I want it right now. It looks likes you don't have anything to do"
"It's not bad to stretch out after working on the files you piled out on my table"
"I need the files now" she said as she sat down and wait
"Alright" I said as I looked at my computer
(Silence)
"I didn't know you and Renz are going out" Rixanne said
"It's our first date last evening and it was ruined because of you"
"How can you date someone you didn't even like?"
"And why do you care?"
"You're an employee of mine"

"You can't even break out with your father"

Rixanne looked at me "The report"

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Alvin asked
"Why did you propose to Rixanne?"
"You know the reason."

"But I only need to choose one"
"Then why did you choose the wrong one?"
"I never choose the wrong one. I choose what the best is for me. If I choose what I want, I'm dead"

"She's making me insane"

"When the company chooses a new CEO, you and Rixanne we're both chosen. Why did you give up the position?"
"Rixanne deserves it more than I do. She graduated with Honors while I'm not and I don't want to hold a big company, it's a big responsibility. And I don't want to take the blame especially when you've made a mistake."
"But you're taking that responsibility right now aren't you? You're covering up for Rixanne even though sometimes she made mistakes. You're the one doing things for her mistakes"

“What’s with the commotion?” I asked when I saw some group of employees flocking in front of my office
“We’re very sorry ma’am, its Sheena’s birthday today and we’re planning on having a night out this evening… “An employee said referring to my secretary
“Oh, where do you plan to go?”
“MUSIC BAR!” everyone said “How about you join us ma’am?”
“Really? Can I come?”
“Yes ma’am”
I smiled “Alright then, the drinks on me”
“Cool” everyone cheered on me
“Ok let’s go back to work guys” Sheena said and looked at me “Thank you very much ma’am”
“You’re very welcome, you’ve been my secretary since I started here… this is the first time I’m treating you” I said and smiled
Sheena smiled “I’m happy you’re my boss”
I smiled “What’s my schedule for today?”
(After office)
“Everyone’s ready?” I asked
“Josh and Helen from Ms. Deri’s office will just follow” Sheena said
“Alright” I said “Let’s go”
(Music Bar)
“We’re very thankful we have a boss like you ma’am! So this song is for you!” one of my employee said as he sings
“We’ve just started and he’s already drunk” someone said
“Bottles empty!” another said as he saw my beer already empty “Here’s another bottle for you, boss!” he said as he handed me beer
“Thank you”
A few minutes later
“More BEER!!!!” I yelled
“She’s already drunk Sheena” I heard one of my employee said
“Ma’am, stop drinking already” Sheena said
“Come on! We’re just starting the fun!”
“We’re gonna be dead if Ms. Deri found about this”
“Deri? You mean Rixanne? She’s going here?”
“Yes ma’am, she’s with Josh and Helen, they’re already halfway here”
“Damn it, you invited that witch! I need more drinks! Order another bucket!”
“Ma’am”
I stopped as I saw Rixanne on the door
“It’s looks like you’re already having fun” Rixanne said as everyone kept quiet
“Rixanne! You’re here, Come in. Come in. I don’t expect you’ll be joining us”
Rixanne looked at Sheena “Happy birthday Sheena”
“Thank you ma’am, please come in”
Rixanne walks towards me “You’re already drunk Anielle”
“So what? You’re not my boss right now! Let’s continue the FUN!”
“Go” Rixanne said as she took her seat
“Do you have anything you want Ma’am”
“I’m fine Sheena. You don’t need to worry about me, I can manage myself… after all, I’m not your boss right now”
“Alright then ma’am”
I’m really pissed to see Rixanne especially with her calm aura. I took the microphone and walk towards her “It’s your turn to sing. You’re not going to turn me down right”
Rixanne looked at me. “Alright” she said as she took the mike and stood up “If you think you can humiliate me in front of these people Anielle, then dream on” she whispers to me as she started singing
“Damn you bitch” I said quietly
As Rixanne sing, “That’s the worst song I ever heard! BOOOOO!” I yelled as everyone looked at me
Rixanne stop singing
“Why did you stop you damn bitch?!” I yelled again
“Because the song is finished” she said “You’re drunk Anielle”
“I’m not bitch! I still hate you”
“You’ll regret this night Anielle. I’ll make sure you’ll never forget this night”
“Are you warning me Rixanne?”
Rixanne just smirk and took a sit as I enjoy the night drinking, yelling and humiliating Rixanne as far as I can remember.
My world was spinning…. As I went black…
(Blackout)
(The next morning)
“Aw…” I said as I opened my eyes. My head hurts… “Where am I?” I said as I don’t recognize the room. “hmm…” I can feel an arm hugging me… “Oh my God” I startled as I saw myself naked “Shit” I said and looked at the person beside… “This… is… ain’t… happening” I slowly said as I saw Rixanne naked beside me… I was numb… I don’t know what to do!
Rixanne wakes up. I was staring at her, voiceless… I can’t say anything
“Morning” she said as she smiled at me… she’s calm…
“Do you know where we are?”
“Where in my pad… in my room, in my bed” she said
“And did you know what happened to us?”
“Yeah, you’re a bit aggressive you know”
“Am I?”
“Yeah…” she stood up “I’m gonna cook something for us, so stay here for a while” she said as she kissed me
My eyes widened as her lips touched mine… This is ain’t happening!!!!!!
Few hours later,
I slowly walk out of Rixanne’s room
“Hey” Rixanne greeted as she sees me “Breakfast is ready”
“Uhm” I said as I stand in front of her, confused.
“You already took a shower”
“Yeah, I used your bathroom. Well, I should go home”
“Are you sure, you’re not eating breakfast” Rixanne smiled “I know you wanted to say something…”
I looked at her “You see, we’re enemies, you’re my worst enemy and you’re engage with my brother, so this ain’t happened, nothing happened. We never slept together!”
“Oh, but we did… Our bodies touched each other… “
“I’m not hearing this!!!” I said as I cover my ears “I’m drunk! I don’t have any idea what happened!”
“Alright then… you may go”
“Thank you”
“After breakfast… please” she said in sweet words that chills me
While eating,
“Are you not going to eat?” I asked as she never stops staring at me
She smiled as she slowly lick the spoon from my coffee
“Will you stop that?! You’re giving me chills you know that… God, I can’t believe I made love with a woman?... and to my worst enemy”
“That was sweet”
“What?”
“Made love… rather than sex” she smiled
“Oh GOD!!! I’m going home” I said as I walked out
“Are you not going to give me a see you later kiss?”

Rixanne smiled “I’ve told you, you’ll regret it” I heard her said as I leave
“And where did you go?” Alvin said as I entered the house
“Can you get my car?”
“You left your car?”
“Yes, in a music bar along Elm Street. Here’s the key” I said as I throw him my keys
“Did you just have sex?”
“Shut up ALVIN!” I shouted
Alvin laughed “So who’s the lucky guy?”
“Just get my car and I’m going to sleep. I have a bad day! No, a worst day!” I said as I went to my room.
This is not happening to me… I’m going to be insane! I wish everything was a dream! A dream!!!!
