Our lives,
This path
Down which
We have been led,
Though control
Has been thrust upon us
We are still
Assured help,
Advice
And comfort
From a higher being,
Through him
Or those
He plants
In our lives
To guide us
In our daily chores.
Explore
The mystery
Of our lives
But don't go so far
As to ruin it.
Let the mystery
Remain so
For after all
The very definition of it
Is to be unknown
And not be ruined
By curiosity
Or human nature.
Accept
The uncontrollable,
Live life
Within the boundaries
Set out
For us,
And know
That whatever the circumstances,
This mystery
Is above all,
Sweet
And a gift
Bestowed
By one who loves us.
