Chapter 80; I'm Sorry
I stare at my phone, reading the text message all over again.
From who you may ask?
The one and only, Jaxon.
It was a long as message too.
Jaxon: hey, Paisley. It's been awhile. So imma just get straight to the point, you hurt me. You hurt me, Paisley, why do you we never hang out anymore? We were becoming really close, but then Colby just had to come home and you forgot about me. Was I just a distraction of some sort? You picked me up like a leave, then you threw me back on the ground. I wanted to be your friend, Paisley, it breaks my heart to even think that I was a distraction of some kind. You make me sick. If you don't want to be my friend then fine, just say it! Goddamit, Paisley, you're so confusing. So if this is a goodbye, then so be it. Goodbye, Paisley.
I reread it again. I'm not going to lie. I completely forgot about Jaxon, with everything's that happened in the past few months I've never really had time to even think about him.
I think he's right, I think I might've used him for a distraction. I'm so fucking stupid.
Me: I'm sorry, Jaxon, I didn't mean to hurt you
I fall back onto my bed, not sure what else to say. I know for a fact that everyone's out, partying at clubs. Aaron, Jake, Colby, Sam, Corey, plus all the girls are partying I decided not to, because I feel like crap.
I feel even more crap now.
Jaxon: you can't just do that, Paisley. Just block my number and forget I even exist. What a fucking joke. You know I knew who you were when we met, I watched all your friends. I was a fan. I wanted followers. But I guess that plan failed, huh? It hurts, doesn't it? To be used. Have a good fucking life, Paisley.
I stare in disbelief. He used me for followers?
I don't know what's worse.
Me forgetting about a friend. Or someone using me for a following.
This doesn't help my trust issues at all.
What should I do? Cry? Be angry? I felt nothing but anger. He used me. He used my friends.
I go onto my phone and onto Twitter, trying to distract myself. Expect, I might've accidentally twittered an angry message.

So many people replied but I didn't want to talk. So, I turned off my phone and crawled in my bed, angry.
I got out my laptop and scrolled through YouTube, binge watching anything I could to get my mind off things.
About 40 minutes later I heard a knock on my door, who the hell would be here at 11.30 pm?
Oh, right I live with other people.
I yell out a 'come in!' And the door creeks open. "Paisley?" I heard, it sounded like Brennen. I've only met him a few times, he's a pretty cool guy.
"Hi," I answer and paused the video I was watching.
"Are you okay?" Brennen asked carefully, opening the door wide open.
"Peachy," I faked a smile. "Fucking dandy."
"Don't use sarcasm on me, missy." Brennen says and walked over to me, he gladly made himself comfortable and sat in my chair. "I'm the sarcasm king."
"I'm the sarcasm Queen." I say. "Don't try me."
"Oh, I'm so scared." Brennen mocked, he smiled at me. "Kat and Devyn won't stop calling me, I picked up Kat's call and there loud music in the background. She wanted me to check up on you."
I huff. "I don't need a babysitter, I'm just dandy,"
Brennen rolled his eyes. "Right, then explain the tweet." He held out his phone, I re read the tweet, there were 4,000 replies. Wow, that's a lot of replies. "People kept asking for the tea and I'm guessing no one knows."
"Why would you think that?" I ask even though it was true.
"Because people have been tweeting at Kat or Devyn." Brennen explained. "They were like, what's the tea sis? And they were like we don't know, sis."
I let a small laugh. "No tea over here."
"Paisley," Brennen narrowed his eyes at me. "You can talk to me."
I nodded my head. "Someone wrote me a hurtful message, someone I knew. He revealed that he was using me for followers... but, I had forgotten about him blah blah blah here we are."
"I've been down there before, you wanna know what I did?" Brennen asks. "Literally what you're doing right now."
"I thought you were going to give me a motivational speech or some shit like that." I laugh.
"Nah," Brennen grins at me. "So, since I'm your friend, and your my best friend's girlfriend, imma gonna be your Uber Eats, and then we can do whatever the hell we want."
"Oh!" My eyes light up, grinning. "Let's do a mukbang. I've always wanted to do one."
Brennen grinned. "As long as we get to do something for my video, too."
"You have yourself a deal!"

YES HELLO IM BACK! I'm so sorry I haven't updated in which it feels like forever.
I felt bad that Brennen hasn't really been in this book yet, so I felt like he needed to be in here.
I couldn't be bothered doing the mukbang lol. But I might. Idk.

I didn't realize I would get this far into the book, I mean I had a plan but now I don't really have a plan. I mean I have a plan for the ending.
