 Cute Moment-

Pein-

You and Pein had travelled outside the base in attempt to take a short break from the paperwork waiting for you inside. The only problem with this, would be that the entire time the pierced man beside you could hardly relax long enough to enjoy the quiet night. You had originally hoped that a peaceful outing such as this one would soothe his nerves, but as you traveled onwards, only the opposite seemed to happen.
You let out a heavy sigh, and stopped walking.
"Pein," you calmly called out, catching his attention.
He stopped as well, and turned to see a soft frown on your features.
"You need to allow yourself to relax. I can promise you that if you do, finishing your paperwork will be a lot easier."
He sighed, and you took his hand in your own.
"Here, I have something to show you."
You hoped that maybe this would help him.

He trailed behind you for a few minutes, until you broke out from the dense underbrush to a small clearing. It was around the size of a living room in a house, but it was all you needed. You sat down in the thick grass, motioning for Pein to do the same.

"The stars are beautiful tonight," you stated glancing upwards at the soft lattice of the specks of light above.

Pein smiled in the slightest, something even your observant eyes could not detect. As usual, you were right- the stars were stunning. He supposed that if it were for the sake of your own peace of mind, he could bear to relax.

"Thank you, __f/n__."

You merely smiled in response.

Hidan-

You were training against Hidan, determined to increase the strength the accuracy of your chains. You were undeniably powerful, but seeking to improve was something you never shunned.

"Shit __f/n__, you have the aim of a grandma!" Hidan teased, jumping just out of range of your fierce attacks. Having an opponent you couldn't kill was quite the advantage, allowing you to go full power without worry. A smirk crossed your face as the silver haired male jumped upwards, promptly throwing your initial plan into action. You slammed your arms downwards, the resulting wave throwing the lengths of your extensive weapon upwards. They wrapped around the Jashinist with ease, completely entrapping him within their icy confines. He fell to the ground with a harsh thud, the noise alone guaranteeing that you had completely entrapped him.
Strutting over to his fallen form you lightly turned him over with your foot, allowing him to face upwards towards you.

"Grandma, huh?"

Hidan did not look amused, and you found yourself laughing at the pouty expression on his face. You stuck your tounge out teasingly, allowing your weapons to retract from his form. You noticed the glint in his eye after he rose from the ground, immediately preparing for whatever he would deem as revenge. His grin turned into a sly smile, and you feared the worst.

"That was pretty damn kinky, even for you __f/n__."

You immediately flushed red, punching the taller man in the arm while he laughed. Embarrassment was his chosen method of reveng for the moment, and you loathed him for it.

"That was definitely not kinky!" You yelled furiously.

Hidan didn't bother to listen, and continued teasing you the entire way back to the base.

Deidara-

You knew that the blonde love explosions, making the tightly wrapped box in your arms even more important to your excited form. You had been away on a two month long mission and all you could think of was showing your fellow artist what you had collected. Knocking on the door to his room, you waited carefully as footsteps crossed the floor. The door opened, and a bright pair of blue eyes met your own __f/n__ ones. His neutral expression broke into a wide grin, instantly recognizing your face.

"Alright! __f/n__, you're back, un!" He lightly crushed you in a friendly hug, making you smile even bigger than before.

"Alright," you joked, "that's enough. I've been waiting weeks to show you what I've got in this box and I don't plan on waiting a moment longer."

You loved the confusion on his face as he followed you, knowing how quickly it would change. He remained a few paces behind you as you stormed out of the base, walking for nearly a half mile before stopping at the edges of a wide pond.

"__f/n__, did you drag me all the way out here to swim, un?"

You rolled your eyes, before gently tying your Akatsuki coat around your waist and pulling your __h/l__ __h/c__ backwards out of the way of your mouth. Deidara instantly realized that swimming was not your intention- you would only preform these precautions when setting fires. You watched as he slowly became restlessly interested in your actions, beginning to ask questions.

"Is the lake supposed to stop your fire if it gets out of control, un?"

You merely shook your head, carefully setting the box upon the ground. You cautiously opened it, revealing what seemed like a glass container filled with five different compartments. Some held solid shapes , others holding closed off glass containers filled with metallic liquids. You laughed in delight, clapping your hands together at the sight in front of you. You gently opened a flap of the box, grabbing one of the solid glass spheres filled with liquid. You carefully placed it at the water's edge, pushing it outwards and waiting until it had floated near the middle.

You stole a glance to your attentive partner, boredom in his eyes.
He was in for the surprise of a lifetime.

You quickly drew a Kunai from your side, taking careful aim before throwing your trusty weapon at the sphere

The reaction was violent and immediate, loud noises spilling from the center of the pond as an explosion rocketed its surface. The liquid was thrown off in all directions, thin tendrils of smoke trailing from the chemical reacting with not only the water, but the air around you as well.
It was glorious.

Deidara looked completely awestruck, a wide grin enveloping his features.

"__f/n__, that exploded! In water, un!"

You nodded your head giddily before once more grabbing something from the box.

"All of these react in water. Want to give them a test run?"

The rest of that afternoon was nothing less than a blast.

Kisame-

The book within your hands seemed to get further and further from your drooping eyes as time passed, the result of a long day of training with the blue skinned man beside you. You had initially stopped for a lunch break and possibly some relief from the brutally hot weather inside, but it seemed that neither you nor Kisame were leaving anytime soon. There was the small noise of pages shuffling as your book finally slipped from your hand. Your breathing slowed to a gentle hum in the quiet room, an indicator that sleep had at last overcome your attempts to stay awake. Kisame glanced at your soft form, watching in amusement as your body slowly shifted from upright to sideways.

His amusement was immediately stifled when your head softly landed on his shoulder.

Sure he was used to your close company, but you falling asleep on him was an entirely different scenario!
Yet there you lay, blissfully unaware of the turmoil within the head of your tall companion. You looked comfortable, and you had just gotten back from a long mission. Should he wake you up so that you could go into your own room? Should he leave you there to rest?
One glance at the heavy bags under your eyes, and it became clear that waking you up would not be an option.
You deserved sleep.

Kisame moved the hair from your face, slowly reaching over to grab at the book you had been reading minutes earlier.

You had been telling him that this was your favorite book... and it seemed like he would be stuck here for a while.

Zetsu-

You had been with the Akatsuki for well over a month now, and yet nobody had seen even a trace of your actual abilities. Pein himself knew, but when questioned he would only say that it was your choice to admit them. This lead to awkward conversations every once in a while, but it was Hidan that enjoyed attempting to push your buttons.
Key word- attempt.
You were ridiculously calm under pressure, and it seemed like even his harsh insults were only met with kindness and sarcasm. It became a game of sorts to the Jashinist, to see how far he could push you before you became angry.
As you sat at the kitchen table, coffee in one hand and rubbing your eyes with the other, you loosely debated faking anger to be left in peace. It didn't seem worth it however, as you knew that you were terrible at lying.

"So,__f/n__," Hidan called, " You haven't taken a single mission yet. Pretty fucking useless, am I right? What's your power, summoning more coffee?"
You smiled lazily, glancing upwards at the silver haired male. He was sitting on the table in front of you, loosely twirling his scythe around in the small area.
"That would be nice. Finding a use for coffee on the battlefield would be difficult though, and I doubt I would have been accepted into the Akatsuki with such an ability."
Hidan's smile twitched with anger, and you could tell that his aggravation was beginning to seethe through his usual lazy smart-ass persona. This to you was an indicator that he would give up soon- he never had the patience to outlast your calm.
"Would killing you get shit done? Maybe sacrificing you to Jashin would make you useful, yeah?"

You shrugged, reaching towards your mug when his scythe came down and shattered it mere inches from your hand. You sighed gently, glancing upwards at the smug grin of the silver haired male.
"I hope Kakuzu doesn't get upset over that..." you worriedly pondered, glancing in between the broken glass and the tall man counting his money in the lounge.
Hidan almost had time to respond, before a shadow behind your seated form allowed a frown to cross his face.
"That's enough, Hidan."
"Piss off."

You nearly laughed aloud at black Zetsu's demand, watching as the Jashinist slid off the table to go pester someone else. You turned in your chair, observing your close friend as he watched Hidan leave the base.
"If you just told him to leave, I'm sure he would quit bugging you."
"Your lack of aggression is pretty pathetic."
You chuckled lightly, standing from your chair to grab a napkin for the remnants of your hot beverage.
"It's as much of a game to him as it is to me," you explained, "because I know that there's little he could do to actually aggravate me. I do agree with you though, I probably should learn to get angry every once in a while."

This was how you often addressed his dual personalities- you never ignored the harsher comments made by the darker side of him as most would, nor did you dismiss the white half of him as overly passive. You took each statement to heart, listening to him as a whole instead of picking and choosing which you would listen to. It was a minor detail, and yet it was one that had made all the difference in befriending the plant hybrid.

"Besides," you muttered, " He'll be proven wrong in due time. I'm told there's a mission that I'll be required in soon."

Sasori-

At first the soft noises escaping your mouth had been hardly noticeable, but now they were becoming persistent. It was a sudden contrast from the usual silence shrouding 'your' side of the room (as this is where you usually practiced your poison work), and you couldn't help but blush in embarrassment. Sasori had even turned away from his own work to face you, something he usually wouldn't do unless he needed your opinion on the venom going into his complicated works.
"I'm so sorry," you laughed, another noise escaping you mouth.
Sasori's usual neutral expression slipped into something you would learn to classify as confusion, glancing between you and the toxins on your desk.
"What is that noise?"
You laughed once more, attempting to cover your moth as yet another escaped your upturned lips.
"Sorry, I've got the hiccups. I can leave if you'd like."
Hiccups.
Of course the puppet master knew what hiccups were, but never had he heard them sound like this. The strange noise escaped your mouth once, and you stood to leave.
"Sit back down," Sasori ordered.
You promptly complied, another hiccup escaping your mouth.
You were honestly relieved that you would be allowed to stay in the room- the noise outside was loud enough to reach your ears, something that would not happen on a normal day. Tobi had decided to bother Deidara, and you could just hear how well that was working out for the hyperactive male.
"Thank you, Sasori."

Although he did not reply, you knew that he had heard you. You continued working, glad to be with your puppet friend.

Tobi-

Tobi was very clingy. There was hardly a moment when he wasn't tugging you around the base by the hand or crushing you into a large hug.
When he caught word that you were going out to help Kisame and Itachi (who had been injured during a mission) the masked ninja could hardly contain his worry. He clung tightly to your torso in an attempt to keep you from leaving, yelling about how it was "dangerous ! __f/n__-chan should stay with Tobi!"

You merely maintained a smile, understanding his worry. This mission was a long one and a potentially deadly one. Pein had warned you that your own life was at high risk, and you had accepted anyways. What good was a medic that couldn't fix her own comrades? You attempted to take another step forward, only to have the masked man tighten his grip on your form.
"Noooooooooooo!"

You sighed, and placed your hands around the larger ones attempting to keep you in place.

"I promise that I'll come back, okay?"
His grip shifted slightly, and you noticed the change in his demeanor. His voice was lower, less hyperactive and cheery than before.
" Promise?"

"Yes," you spoke, "I promise."

With that he seemed to shift back, jumping away from you to wave vigorously as you began your journey. You were left slightly confused by this new side to your hyperactive friend, but didn't have enough time to worry. Every moment wasted was a deadly gamble.

"Bye __f/n__-chan!"

A medic that couldn't protect those around her was useless, but one that couldn't keep her promises might be just as bad. It seemed like you had been pushed into a corner- failing was not an option.

Kakuzu-

The masked shinobi was more than curious at this point about how you managed to live without spending any money. No matter what the need was- food, clothes, weapons, even a small chair at one point- you always obtained it without effort. You had somewhat explained the first time he had asked, merely replying that,
"People who believe that they owe something tend to give more than necessary for compensation."

It was rather cryptic, but that was to be expected from you. Communication wasn't your forte to say the least. Returning home from your latest mission though, you had offered to show Kakuzu exactly how you managed to exist without wasting anything.

He certainly hadn't expected you to take a detour into a smaller village however, removing your Akatsuki cloak and placing it within the large pouch that hung at your side. You didn't bother to ask Kakuzu to do the same, merely entering the village with a small smile on your face. It was with a familiar leniency that you travelled the streets; You knew exactly where you were headed, Kakuzu trailing behind you as the area around you became shadier and shadier.
Leaving an expensive item out in the open was reckless and irresponsible; This particular day however, it seemed that the taller male had taken the same philosophy towards allowing you to roam such an... untrustworthy part of town. You were one of the best assets to the Akatsuki budget wise, and the most bearable of its members by far. Keeping you alive meant the possibility of being with Hidan less often, and that alone was well worth the extra precaution. Kakuzu remained in his position slightly behind you, managing to keep up with your fast pace up until the moment you slowed to a stop in front of a festively decorated street.
There seemed to be a local farmer's market going on, your smaller form browsing the stalls until you stopped in front of one of the largest shops in the place.
It was the most expensive display as well- the food looked much higher quality that that around it, but the price matched its appearance.
The owner of it looked up with a surprised glance as you waved at him, merely nodding his slim head before reaching for something under the counter. He pulled out a large basket after rummaging for a few moments, passing it into your sturdy arms before offering a silent tip of his wide brimmed hat.
The bounty hunter seemed to be processing what had just happened, your uncanny ability of figuring out those around you kicking in once again.

"You see, I don't always stick to just bounty jobs. A lot of the missions I take are random things that normal people need help with. I always ask for something in return though. A spot to stay the night if I visit the town again, access to a fishable plot of river..."

You held up the basket laden with goods, a peacefull smile crossing your usually neutral features.

"...A decent supply of food when It's possible to spare me anything. The jobs they ask are never hard, but people with so little to give always insist on repaying the debt. The key is to ask for something small, but to make it reoccurring."

You were clever, not a single doubt about it.

"...I don't think I've seen someone utilize debt so efficiently."

You were mildly surprised by his comment, offering a short nod as you made your way to the town exit once again. You waited a few minutes before speaking again, finally deciding to comment on the bounty hunter's peculiar behavior.

"Kakuzu, there's no need to watch everybody in the area-I'm a fully capable kunoichi, and you know it."

He simply glared, continuing to walk exactly as he had before. You didn't mind however, a small smile crossing your face as you examined the goods you had been given.

Monkfish? You really hoped that someone would eat this stuff.
