(Ty's POV)
The squids were falling back. I smiled at our victory. Adam was acting like he had just gained conciousness. But where was Seto?
"Seto?!? Seto?!?"
There was no reply.
"Maybe he went back to the base..." Adam said sounding dazed.
It was now almost impossible to see. We walked to where we had been running. Then I saw a dark figure on the ground. I squinted and walked up to it. I gasped at the sight. It was a guy about my age. It was to dark to even tell who it was. His hair was covering his face. A sword was coming out of his stomach. Suddenly if almost timed the rain stopped. Everything started to get clearer. A cloak very familiar started to appear. His old raggedy hair became familiar.
"S-Seto...?"
I turned around to look at Adam but he wasn't there. I looked back at Seto hoping he would look up and ask for me to help him. That never came. Tears started to fall down my sore eyes. I pulled the sword out of Seto's stomach and lifted his head. He had been smiling.
"Did he do this to... Himself? He couldn't have why through the back then..? But he died happy.." I thought.
(Adam's POV)
I was sitting at a pond laughing my heart away. My hands had started to turn a licorice black. I just continued to stare at my arms.
"Hello there Adam. See your tired." I heard.
For some reason I recognized the deep voice.
"Hello Herobrine." I blurted out without even thinking.
"How are you?"
"Why don't you come and see?"
I felt his dark presence behind me.
"Ah. Not able to handle the power are you?"
"Guess not."
"You like it... Don't you?"
"Yes."
"You don't want to die because of it do you?"
"No."
"You want to keep it correct."
"Of course.."
"What am I doing?!? Yes I like the power but it's evil!" I thought.
Sadly that's not what I thought...
"I can help you keep it and live."
"And?"
"No Adam don't!" I heard my amulet say.
"Shut up..."
I took off my amulet and threw it into the pond.
"I'm listining."
"And you retake the Dahlberg purpose."
"No.."
"Why not? I thought you liked destroying!"
"I do.."
"Then why not?"
"Because I can't.."
"Fine. Then you'll just die. Guess my prophecy did fail."
He suddenly dissapeard. I felt the poison flow through my arms. I laughed at the pain. Then it hit my heart. I continued to laugh. Nothing mattered anymore. Other than accepting Herobrine's offer. I suddenly couldn't take the pain anymore. It started to consume my legs. I dove in the water and grabbed my amulet screaming.
"Adam?!? Why are you screaming?!?"
"HELP ME!"
"Adam I can only save the dead!"
"WHAT ABOUT THE DYING?!?"
"Maybe! Let me see!"
A purple light went into my stomach. I closed my eyes screaming. The amulet's powers hurt more than the poison. Suddenly the pain started to go away. I opened my eyes and started to breathe.
"Is that ok Adam?"
"Y-Yea..."
"Your eyes are back to normal."
"W-What?"
"Nevermind. Ty needs you..."
I ran to the screams of horror. Then I saw it. Seto in Ty's arms. Ty had blood covering him. His face, hands, shirt, pants.
"ADAM! USE YOUR AMULET!" he sobbed out.
"I can only save people every ten years... And before you ask I can only save someone dead the week they died."
"BUT YOU HAVE ONLY USED IT ONCE!"
"Ty.. Adam was just dying..."
Ty looked up at me. He had pure hatred in his eyes.
"WHY DID YOU EVEN BEFRIEND ME?!?"
"Because..."
Anger started to swell.
"BECAUSE I NEEDED SOMEBODY TO ADD MY WEIGHT ON AND BECAUSE I NEEDED A FRIEND! I'M SORRY ALL OF THIS HAD HAPPENED TY BUT I CAN'T STOP IT!"
"YES YOU COULD HAVE! YOU COULD HAVE JUST RAN. RAN AWAY FROM THE TOWN NOT LOOKING AT ANYTHING! JUST DASHED OFF!"
"YOU WOULD HAVE ALL DIED!"
"NO! WE WOULD HAVE BEEN TURNED INTO HYBRIDS AND LIVED HAPPY LIVES! YOU WOULD HAVE A FAMILY!"
"I'M SORRY! I'LL JUST GO AGREE TO HEROBRINE IF YOUR GOING TO BE SO.... SO CRUEL!"
"YOUR THE ONE THAT MURDERED HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE!"
"I COULDN'T CONTROL MY BODY!"
"YOU RAN AWAY WHEN SETO DIED!"
"I HAD TO!"
"NO YOU DIDN'T!"
"JUST SHUT UP!" I heard a voice scream.
I turned around.
"You should all just shut up for once! Nah nah this and nah nah that!" King Squid mocked.
Ty dropped Seto body and ran up to King and punched him in the gut and grabbed his neck and squeazed.
"THIS IS YOUR FAULT. SETO DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!"
I looked down at the bloody sword Seto was killed with. Suddenly Ty was tackled on the ground.
"I'm going to kill you now Ty." I heard King say.
I grabbed the sword and stabbed the back of King. He let go of Ty. I could hear the blood dripping on Ty's stomach.
"Now your going to die like Seto." Ty spat out.
30 MINUTES LATER
We were home. Finnaly. The rest of the crew left saying they were done. They didn't come back. Ty was sobbing in his room. I could hear him from outside. I lowered Seto into his grave I had dug. I covered it up and talked to him as if he were alive. I then went and sat at Ty's door.
"Hey Ty...?"
"W-Wha-at?"
"Are you ok...?"
"D-DOES I-IT SO-OUND LI-IKE I AM?!?"
I sighed and walked outside. Two people walked out of the woods. A melon man and a teen that looked simaler to Ty but had gray hair and a black cloak.
"Are you Sky?" the melon asked.
"Yes."
"The murderous Sky or... Sky that is the hero of Minecraftia?"
"I killed the murderous Sky..."
"Um well we have been looking for someone to rule Minecraftia and.."
"And?"
"We decided it would be you."
"I... Are you sure..?"
"Yes."
"Then sure I'll rule! I have to go get my friend though."
I started walking to the door when I looked over at Seto's grave and smiled.
"We're doing ok Seto..."
Epilouge:
15 YEARS LATER
I layed in my huge chair messing with my fingers. Being a king was boring. I looked around to see if anyone was around. Not a single soul. I grinned and closed my eyes. I started to sing. It had been about 13 minutes and then I opened my eyes realizing someone was standing at the door.
"Hey Ty!"
"I'm going to see Seto."
"I'll go with. Should I go get my kids?"
"Sure. Mine girl is coming with might as well bring yours.
I started to get up.
"Adam don't leave me in this stupid chair!" I heard my amulet say.
I grinned and picked her up and slid her over my neck.
I opened the door closest to the chair.
"Daddy!" my daughter said happily. "I heard you singing!"
"Yea.. Want to go see Seto?"
"Sure!"
My two kids ran out.
"Hey Bailey!" Ty said picking up my daughter.
"Hi Ty!"
He set her down and highfived Milton.
"Hey Milton! Ready to go see your dad and I's old friend?"
"Yea! Hey is Seto the sorcerer that saved your lives?"
"Yea. You guys know he's-"
"Gone now yep!" Bailey said.
Amelia ran in.
"Hi Adam!" Amelia piped up.
"Hey Amelia!"
"Cmon let's go!" Milton said.
All five of us started to walk outside. I smiled at how happy we were.
