Tilting her chin up he looked down at her. "Arohi, I want you so badly." "Let me make love to you." he said softly. Without waiting for an answer, his lips pressed against her, leaving Arohi unable to think about anything but his passionate kisses and about how good it felt to be held by him again.

Arohi melted into Arjun's arms as he continued to kiss her, his hands moving slowly up and down her arms, sending shivers down her spine. As he pulled away from her and slowly kissed the hollow of her neck, Arohi bit back a moan. "You're still so sweet" he whispered as he bit down gently on her ear lobe. "And still so damn sexy." he continued as his lips came back to hers. And suddenly Arohi was pulling herself on her tip toes as she pressed into him and deepened the kiss. She heard him moan against her lips. Her hands playing with the tiny hairs at the nape of his neck as she pulled him closer and closer. His own hands moving to her hips to holder her closer and tighter. The kiss seemed to continue forever, both of them so lost in each other that at first they didn't hear the first cry. But as Arohi heard the second cry she quickly pulled away. Her eyes widening in horror as she quickly turned around and practically ran to Riya's room. Arjun stared after her, his breathing labored.

"Is she okay?" he asked from Riya's doorway a short while later as Arohi stood cradling a sleeping Riya in her arms. Arohi nodded and gently laid Riya back into her bed. Tucking her in and gently pressing a soft kiss against her forehead. Walking out of the room she was careful not to touch Arjun as she passed him. Arjun watched her slip out and he gently shut Riya's door halfway, then followed Arohi back into her living room. "We shouldn't have done that." Arohi said quietly as she turned to face him, making sure to keep a distance between them. Arjun didn't respond, just continued to stare at her, waiting for her to continue. "I mean things are already confusing enough between us, making love would just screw things up more." she said as she looked away from him, not making eye contact. "And now that you're planning on telling Riya that you're her father I don't want things to be confusing for her." "She needs to know that the relationship is between her and you...not me and you." Arohi said softly. Arjun folded his arms across his chest and stared at her with one eyebrow raised. Arohi watched him hesitantly. "I think that kiss was just a product of the anxiety and panic we went through today." "We were just trying to find solace in each other's arms after such a trying day." she continued. Arjun's narrowed eyes shrewdly stared back at her. "And..." she began. "Enough" he said quietly, but firmly. "I'm heard enough of your excuses." "Now let me tell you what your real reason for not giving into what was happening between us...what IS happening between us." "You're scared." "You're scared at how much you want me." "You're scared that everything between us is still as hot as ever, nothings changed." "Physically we're still drawn to each other like a moth to a flame." "You want me just as much as I want you." "And you know this is something we've never been able to control." "Almost 4 years later and I can still feel your imprint on my body." "You can still make me burn for you." "I'm man enough to admit that even after everything that's gone wrong with us, even after all our problems one thing that hasn't changed is how much I desire you." "How just the thought of you makes me want you." "And don't tell me you don't feel the same way because you and I both know you'd be lieing."

Arohi stared back at him. There was no use in denying that fact. She did want him. He was the first and only man to have touched her intimately, the only man that made her feel alive. His touch to this day could still make her tremble. His kisses from a little while ago had proved that all to well. But he was also the one man that had the ability to hurt her the most. The one man that could tear out her heart, if she wasn't careful. She wasn't that same Arohi she told herself. That Arohi that gave into temptation so quickly. And Arjun Singhania was temptation with a capital T. If Riya hadn't called out for her, Arohi knew she would be in her bed right now, if they made it that far, making love to Arjun. And as amazing as that would be, after it was all said and done she would have regretted it. She would have regretted it because not only were they wrong for each other, but he was with Seema. And she knew that seeing him with Seema was killing her now...if she actually let him make love to her she would never be able to separate making love from sleeping together. And so as much as she wanted him, as much as she needed him...she couldn't do that to herself again. She just couldn't.

"I think you should leave." she finally said. Arjun let out a harsh laugh. "Don't worry, I get it." "You're going to continue to lie to yourself." "That's fine." "But Arohi just so that you know...this isn't finished...not by a long shot." "But the difference next time will be that you are going to come to me." "You're going to make the first move." he said as he grabbed his jacket. "You're not going to be able to help yourself Arohi, you know how good it is between us." "You want us too much to be able to help yourself." he said softly as he walked to her and looked at her upturned face. "I'm not coming to you for anything!" she said stubbornly. Arjun smirked. "We'll see." he replied as he surprised her by hauling her against him with one arm and crushing his lips against hers. Arohi whimpered, but as she started to step into the kiss...it was over. Arjun pulled back and with one last glance he stalked out of the house. Leaving Arohi to press her hand against her heart...already regretting her hasty decision.

Arohi dialed Arjun's number for the fourth time and hung up before it could ring. What are you doing Arohi? she asked herself as her gaze shifted to Riya as she played on the sofa with her princess doll. A smile settling on her lips as she looked at her precious daughter. It had been 3 days since Riya's little adventure that had almost killed her parents. Arohi still found herself thinking back to the horror of that night and that if Arjun hadn't been there there was a good chance that Arohi would have had a meltdown. He'd been so strong for her and Riya. The three of them had been a family that night, even if had been short lived, it had been something. "Mama, when I go preschool?" Riya asked as she combed her dolls hair. "Tomorrow sweetheart." Arohi answered lovingly. "Tomorrow, she would be taking her little girl to school for the first time." That was the reason for her phone call to Arjun. She knew he wanted to be there on Riya's first day and had left her a message earlier asking for details. "Just call him back!" she told herself harshly. But as soon as she would get the nerve to dial his number, she would feel herself break out into a cold sweat, her heat beat accelerate and then...she would quickly hang up. Chicken! she called herself furiously. Enough is enough she told herself. You two share a child, you can't hide out forever. Just call him and be civil and don't let yourself fall under the spell of his sexy voice. Arohi gulped but resolutely dialed his number. Staring at Riya she listened to it ring. "Hi." he said in the sexy voice she had been dreading hearing. "Hi" she repeated. Arohi cleared her throat and said. "Hi, it's Arohi." Arjun paused for a second and then asked gruffly. 'What can I do for you Arohi?" Arohi frowned. "I'm fine, thanks for asking" she snapped before she could stop herself. Arjun paused and then let out a soft chuckle. "Is this a social call, because if that's what this is, then by all means how are you Arohi?" "BUT since I know this is no social call I thought I'd get straight to the point." he said softly. It's necessary for you to be contradictory isn't it?" she asked. Arjun sighed. "Have you called me to fight?" he asked. Arohi paused..why was she being so prickly? Here she had convinced herself that she felt nothing for him yet she was bating him, and getting irritated over everything that came out of his mouth. " Sorry." she said abruptly making Arjun pause. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have snapped." she said. "I'm just returning your call about Riya's preschool. It's starts at 8:30 tomorrow morning, I know it's kind of early so you don't have to come." Arohi began. "I'll be there." Arjun said before she could continue. "Just text me the location and I'll be there." he repeated. Arohi paused for a moment and then finally continued. "I think after everything that happened with Riya we'd kind of come to a tentative understanding." "A truce of sorts." "I'm hoping for Riya's sake we can keep that truce and not be at each other's throats every time we see each other." Arohi said softly, her voice betraying her hesitation. And then quickly she added, "I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't want to fight with you at every turn." "What I want to do with you doesn't involve fighting." he finally said. Arohi chewed on her bottom lip nervously. How could his silky smooth voice make her insides turn to mush?! Ignoring the obvious sexual connotation of his comment she replied "Great, I'm glad we aren't going to fight." "I'll see you tomorrow." And she quickly hung up before he could say anything else. As Arohi sat back down in her chair, she felt like she'd just run a small marathon. Talking to Arjun was like that. It got her heart rate accelerating and even though she hadn't wanted to think about what happened with them the other night, hearing his voice had brought it all back for her. She remembered his words "You're not going to be able to help yourself Arohi. you know how good it is between us." Those words could be her undoing where he was concerned because she did know how good it could be between them, how damn good. And she also knew that lat time she had forced herself to back away. Next time she doubted she would be able to.

Arjun glanced at his watch as he leaned against his car waiting for Riya and Arohi. They would be there soon. His daughter was already starting preschool he thought to himself. She was getting so big, just in the last few months he'd noticed such a huge change in her. Her vocabulary had increased. Words like...pincess had suddenly become princess. She was asserting herself even more, and the scare she gave her parents by wandering away by herself thinking she was saving some kitten already showed that she was going to be headstrong like her mother. Her mother, her mother who still had the ability to make him lose all sense of control. It had always been like that between them. Whether it be emotionally or physically, they never did anything half way. And that night in Arohi's house, if nothing else, he had learned that Arohi still wanted him just as much as he wanted her. But was it a good idea...probably not. But that still didn't change the fact that there was still a major attraction there. He had had no plans of starting anything that night, they were too raw from the fear and anguish they had felt at Riya's disappearance. But seeing her so at ease with him that night brought back memories of when they'd been together. When she'd been his and he had been hers. As he listened to her voice and stared at her beautiful face he felt himself falling under that same spell, that same hold that she had always seemed to have over him. And he had acted on it. In hindsight maybe he shouldn't have. He was with Seema and she didn't deserve that. Maybe that was the reason that he had broken it off with Seema a couple of days ago. His head was too messed up right now he didn't think it was fair for him to be dragging Seema along when he himself didn't know what he wanted. The only sure thing in his life right now was his daughter. His beautiful little girl who was his whole world now. Seema had taken it better then he had expected. Ofcourse she wasn't happy, and she did have a few choice words for him. But she'd also said that she had seen him withdrawing from her weeks ago which he hadn't noticed himself but the guilt had ofcourse still been there. Seema had asked him if there was someone else which he had quickly denied. There wasn't anyone else, there wasn't! he repeated to himself. But even as he repeated that his mind had conjured up a picture of Arohi. Which he vehemently pushed away. Arohi and him couldn't ever be together. Lust was one thing, they had always had that. But love...they had hurt each other too much to actually still believe in love. That was a dangerous emotion, he'd learned that the hard way. He was still recovering from the first and only time he'd been in love. No there was no way he could make that mistake again, there was no way he would fall in love with Arohi again. But even as he repeated that statement to himself he felt his heart squeeze a little as he saw a smiling Arohi and Riya walking towards him. Both so beautiful. As his eyes met Arohi's, he felt that familiar tug towards her. Something more then physical, something more primal , that feeling of what if things had been different. What if they were still together. What if she still loved him...

Arohi looked at his handsome face and felt her breath catch. Memories of his kisses and his hands on her body flooded her brain as she felt a blush creep up her neck. "Hi" he said smiling at her and then crouching down, he picked up Riya who quickly wrapped her arms around him. "Ajun Uncle come to Riya's preschool?" she asked. Arjun smiled. "Yes, sweetheart." "I wouldn't have missed your first day." he replied. Riya smiled happily. "Mama" Ajun Uncle love me, he tell me so." she said happily. Arohi's smiling eyes lifted to Arjun's. "Yes baby, you're so lovable it's impossible not to love you." "After preschool I'm going to take you out for breakfast." Arjun said to Riya. His eyes looking up at Arohi's hesitantly. Arohi was taken a back, he usually told her rather then asked, when it came to Riya. Arohi nodded slowly, giving her permission. "Mama come too!" Riya said looking at Arohi. "Baby mama has to get back to work." "Arjun uncle will take you and then drop you off at the shop. she replied. Arohi hadn't had a chance to look for a new babysitter for Riya so she'd been taking her into the shop with her. "NO!" Mama come too!" Riya said with a pout. Arohi sighed and opened her mouth to say no when Arjun cut in. "Just come," he said not meeting her eyes as he tickeed a giggling Riya. Arohi stared at the two for a moment and then finally agreed too come as well. Matching dimpled smiles from Arjun and Riya had her smiling too.

"Mr and Mrs. Singhania your daughter is so sweet." Mrs. Singh, Riya's new preschool teacher said as the three watched Riya playing with some blocks. Arjun felt Arohi tense beside him. "Actually" Arohi began. Arjun didn't know why but he cut her off before she could correct the teacher. "So Mrs. Singh I've looked over the curriculm, it looks good, but I just want to find out about your policy on outdoor play." 'Is there adequate supervision?" "Where is the nearest playground?" he asked. Arohi watched him ask question after question. She knew why he was asking the supervision question, after their scare with Rosa they couldn't take any chances. But the other questions made her want to giggle. The poor teacher was trying to answer as quickly as possilbe before he shot out the next question. He was acting like Riya was going to university not preschool! He'd always been so meticiouls she thought to herself. Even when she was working on her boutique he never missed a detail. He'd wanted it to be perfect for her. As she continued to watch him she thought about how he'd cut her off when she was about to correct the teacher. She wasn't his wife, but he hadn't wanted any one else to know that. Why? she thought to herself. They weren't together anymore, neither could they ever be, then why hide it? But the thing that had bothered her most was her own reaction to being called Mrs. Singhania again. To be considered his again. Her heart had squeezed a little and she had let herslef pretend for just a little while that what Mrs. SIngh had thought was the truth.

As Arjun drove he glanced at Arohi who was flipping through the radio stations.. Why hadn't he corrected the teacher's assumption that Arohi was still his wife. He didn't know. He had been completely baffled by his reaction. Arohi was not his wife, a lot of people knew that. But that didn't stop the fact that hearing someone say she was his... made him want it to be true. His lips drawn into a tight thin line he cursed himeself. He was an idiot for wanting something he couldn't have. It's just lust he told himself, you just want her phyicially. The problem was that things between Arohi and Arjun had never been just about lust. They had always run deeper. As he pulled up to the restaurant he glanced at Arohi who was looking outisde, a small smile playing on her lips. His eyes stared questioninly back at her. "What is it?" he asked. "Nothing" Arohi said quickly. She'd been thinking back to being called Mrs. Singhania. Arjun stared at her a moment longer and then got out of the car handing the keys to the valet. Arohi was surprised to see him open her door for her. As he got Riya out of her car seat she was hit again by the feeling that they were playing house. And she hated that part of her, wished they weren't just "playing"

All through breakfast Arohi watched Arjun with Riya. She already knew he was a great dad, but it was nice to watch them interacting together. They were so natural together. Riya was already so dependent on him. Certain things that she'd usually ask Arohi to do she asked Arjun. And as Arohi waited for the familiar hurt...it didn't come. She was happy that they had a bond. "Arjun," she said leaning over to him as Riya colored. "I think you should tell her now." Arjun stared back at her with a confused expression. "Tell whom what?" he asked. Arohi sighed and rolled her eyes. "Tell your daughter that you're her father." Arjun's eyes widened in horror. Arohi saw something she never seen in Arjun's eyes. Fear. "I don't think now is a good time." he said hesitantly. "It's the perfect time." she said looking at a happy Riya. "Do you want me to tell her?" she asked. Arjun shook his head no as he took a sip of his coffee. "I'll tell her." he finally said. "Riya, sweetheart, I have something to tell you." he said quietly. Riya looked up at him with big eyes. "Yes?" she replied. Arjun cleared his throat, and then cleared his throat again. She's three years old Arjun! Stop being a wuss and tell her! "Well, the thing is that..." Arjun picked up his glass of water and took a big drink, glaring at a giggling Arohi next to him. "See Riya, I...well..I just wanted to say..." Arohi watched as he loosened his tie. Mr. Arjun Singhiania, who made big business men shake in their boots. Mr. Ruthless that didn't back off from anything he wanted...was shaking like a leaf infront of his 3 year old daughter. "Riya, Arjun Uncle is not your uncle." "He's actually your daddy." Arohi cut in with a smile for Riya. Riya looked from her mom to her dad. "Daddy?" she repeated. "Yes, he's your Daddy." "Remember we talked about daddy's one day." Riya nodded slowly. "You're my daddy" she asked solemnly. Arjun nodded, feeling emotion well up in his throat. "Mama and you made me together." Riya said. Arjun raised an eyebrow at Arohi. Made together? Exactly how much did his 3 year old know?! Arohi nodded. "Yes, that's why he loves you so much, because he's your daddy." Arohi repeated. Riya smiled. "My daddy." "Why you no live with us daddy?" she suddenly asked. Arjun stared at his daughter with no answer. "Because daddy has a big company in Mumbai that he needs to run, so he lives there." "He's visiting right now. "Mama and daddy both love me." "Do you love mama too?" she asked her dad. Arjun glanced at a red faced Arohi. "How could I not love the woman that gave me my sweet Riya." he said in answer. "That seemed to appease Riya. And now it was Arohi's turn to get emotional. "Riya, mama and daddy aren't together but they both love you and always will." Arohi continued. "Why not together?" Riya asked making Arohi sigh. What had they started here! "Well... Arohi began..." "Pancakes!" Riya suddenly squealed at seeing the plate of pancakes set in front of her by the server. Her question completely forgotten as she stared down at her food happily. "Wow!' Arjun said. "That was a close call." "Tell me about it." Arohi answered biting into her own breakfast. It wasn't just Riya's questions, it was the unbelievably harder answers she would have had to give to a three year old who had no idea how complicated adult relationships could be.

As they continued eating their breakfast, Riya's non stop chatter kept them from having to indulge in conversation themselves. They had so many unfinished things hanging between them that it was just easier to concentrate on Riya rather then think about the mess they had created. Hearing her phone ring Arohi grabbed it to see who was calling. "Neil" she said out loud a little confused. "Neil was an amazing young designer she was working quite closely with, but she wondered why he was calling since he was supposed to be in the UK right now." "Sorry I gotta take this." Arohi said as she answered her call. "Hi Neil, how are you doing?" she asked. In usual Neil Malhotra fashion he got right to the point. "Zeenat Khan wants to work with us on her new line!" Arohi paused. Her mouth dropping open in shock. Zeenat was the elite of the elite when it came to designer fashion. She had an eye like no other, and what ever she touched became fashion." "Apparently she saw some of your pieces, and liked what she saw." "She wants to meet with us tonight!" he continued. "But I'm not here as you know so you're going to have to meet her by yourself." Neil continued. "By myself!?" Arohi stuttered. "How can I meet Zeenat Khan by myself." "She's untouchable in the world of fashion, how can small time me who just started designing, sell her on my work. "Arohi!" "You've already sold her on your work!" "That's why she wants to meet with you." he said happily. Arohi chewed on her bottom lip nervously and glanced at a curious Arjun staring at her. Arohi quickly looked away. "When time does she want to meet?" Arohi asked nervously. "7:00 tonight at Moonshine." "Bring your portfolio you've been working on." "Neil, are you sure about this, maybe you heard wrong?" Arohi asked. "AROHI!" "Snap out of it!" "It's you she's interested in, so be there and don't be late!" "Hmm, fine bye" Arohi said as she hung up with Neil.

Arjun didn't say anything as he cut up some more of Riya's pancake for her. Finally breaking the silence he asked "Are you okay?" Arohi bit her lower lip and then finally told him him what Neil had just told her. "That's great!" Arjun said with a smile. "Great!" "This is not great!" "I have barely any time to prepare." "What am I going to say to her?" "What if she actually wants to work with me?" Arohi asked. "Well, wouldn't that be good?" he asked passing Riya her milk. "It would be amazing!" Arohi said nervously. "But she's this huge name in the industry, she's not going to like my work." Arjun frowned. "Will you stop that?" "You can do this!" "Look at how much you accomplished already...and from what I saw at that fashion show.. you're damn good." "No wonder this Zeenat wants to see you." "So stop selling yourself short and be the Arohi that I know!" "The one that can make anything happen!" "The one that doesn't let any one make her feel inferior." Arohi stared at him in shock as he smiled at her and then turned back to Riya, helping her choose a crayon to color in her princess. "He's right!' she finally told herself. She'd give it her best, and she always had her boutique. "Oh no!' she said suddenly. "Where am I going to leave Riya tonight?" Arjun frowned. "With her dad" he said rolling his eyes and shaking his head. Arohi bit back the smile that sprang to her lips. "Thanks" she said. "Your welcome." he answered distractedly as he helped Riya color. Arohi watched both Arjun and Riya's completely easy, completely natural relationship. Riya hadn't even blinked an eye when she found out Arjun was her father. She excepted it because their relationship was already natural to her. She needed him in her life as much as he needed her in his.

"I'll pick Riya up at 5:00 from your place." "Does that work?" Arjun asked as he pulled up infront of Arohi's boutique. "That'll be great, we'll see you then." Arohi said getting out. "Bye baby girl." Arjun said as he helped Riya out of her seat. "Bye daddy." Riya said already running to the doors of the boutique. Arohi saw the sudden moisture in Arjun's eyes before he quickly pulled on his sunglasses. She knew now how much it meant to him to have Riya accept him as her father. And for some reason that thought made Arohi's own eyes start to fill up. "I'll see you later." he said gruffly getting into his car. Arohi stared after his car long after it disappeared from her view...lost in thought.

That night as Arjun looked in at a sleeping Riya, he smiled. It was 10:30 and she'd fallen asleep sitting next to him on the sofa, around 8:00. He hadn't put her into bed right away, he had held his sweet and precious baby in his arms for a long time staring down at her soft innocent face. After all these months still in awe that she was his daughter. He couldn't believe how lucky he had gotten. As he walked to the sofa, and picking up his beer from where it sat on the table next to the sofa, he turned on the TV. "Boring, boring, boring" he said as he flipped the channels until he flipped to a football match. "That's more like it!" he said taking a swig of his beer. A few minutes into the match his doorbell rang. He hadn't been expecting anyone. Arohi had said it would probably be a late night and that she would pick up Riya in the morning. As he walked to the door and opened it he was a little taken a back. Infront of him stood Arohi, looking stunning in a gold knee length sleeveless form fitted sheath. Her hair in soft curls down her back. Her make up making her eyes even more sultry. "Whoa!" Arjun said as he stepped aside to let her in. And then he frowned. "I thought you were going to let Riya spend the night?" he asked with a frown. "I'm her dad Arohi and I..." Arohi cut him off "She loved my designs!" Arohi squealed. Arjun paused and then slowly smiled. "That's awesome!" he said following an excited Arohi into the living room. "I just had to tell someone, sorry I came so late but I just couldn't help myself!" Arohi said excitingly. "I'm glad you came!" Arjun said with a small smile. "So tell me what happened?" he asked. Arohi quickly launched into a run down of the evening. How stunning Zeenat was and how gracious and sweet she was. How she wasn't at all a diva like most fashion designers. Arohi had shown her, her designs and she had been really impressed. Asking Arohi about her boutique and about her schooling and credentials. Arohi had filled her in on the night classes she had been taking to finish her design degree. Zeenat had seemed really impressed. "And she wants to get together at her office next Thursday when Neil is back so that the three of us can work out details!" "Arjun, she told me that she thought I had what it took to succeed in this industry!" Arohi squealed practically jumping on her seat. Arjun laughed at her exuberance. "I told you!" he said. "You know you've always been able to do anything you put your mind too." "You should be proud of yourself." he said. Arohi smiled as she hugged her arms around herself. "Thanks for your support!" she said looking at him. "No problem!" he said getting up. "What do you want to drink?" he asked. "Do you have some white wine?" she asked. "Probably." he answered as he headed into his kitchen. A few minutes later he came back with a bottle of wine and a wine glass along with another beer for himself. "For you." he said handing her the glass and pouring the wine. "I've already had two glasses at the restaurant, but what the hell another glass won't kill me!" she said happily.

"It was so embarrassing Arjun, I'm telling you." "The girl walked out of the change room, looking horrified. Her wedding lengha that had been measured to gracefully sweep the floor... had some how been sewn that it hung just below her knees." Arohi giggled at the memory. "Suffice it to say she wanted her money back but I quickly drew up an extension to the lengha, a velvet fabric with the same embroidery that would be attached to the bottom. I promised it would be ready for her by the end of the week and if she didn't like it I would give her all her money back." "So did she like it?" Arjun asked as he finished off his beer. "She loved it!" Arohi said happily. "She loved it even more then the original design and she even recommended our boutique to her friend for her bridal lengha!" Arohi said laughing. Arjun watched her giggle. She sat with her legs curled up underneath her, completely relaxed as she sipped on another glass of wine. Her 4 inch heals lay discarded on the ground and her long hair now hung over one bare shoulder. "Sorry, am I boring you?" she asked. "No." Arjun replied... and she wasn't. Her excitement, and passion for her career, her love and joy for what she did, shone through. And he loved listening to her stories and watch how animated she got while telling them. She was still the same Arohi in some ways, but in other ways she had changed so much. And the changes were all good, she'd matured and grown and sitting next to her now he could admit that he really liked this new Arohi. She was still feisty as well, but she had a certain sense of calm and maturity about her. It was refreshing. Arohi slowly got up and moved to the Stereo system that sat in one corner, shifting through the songs on Arjun's I-pod. "You still love music huh?" she asked as she felt Arjun come up behind her. "Yup," he answered peering over her shoulder at which song she was going to choose to listen to.

Arjun watched as Arohi moved her hips as she stood in the same spot listening to the song. Singing along. She was so incredibly sexy and his hands itched to make their way to her hips and pull her back against him. But he wouldn't do it, he'd made a promise to himself that he wouldn't behave like some teenage boy around Arohi. If she wanted him, she'd be the one to make the first move. He wasn't going to let her reject him again. But even as he said it, his eyes followed the curve of her hips as they shook to the fast paced rhythm of "Chamak chalo." "She's going to be the death of me!" he muttered not taking his eyes off her sexy backside.

"This is such a fun song!" Arohi said turning around and freezing at the the sight of Arjun's eyes, burning with desire. Unconsciously she took a step back as if she'd been burned. Arjun looked away from her and cleared his throat looking around for his beer bottle and then remembering it was empty now. "Want some more wine or maybe something else?' he asked in a husky voice. Arohi shook her head no. "I should get going." she said starting to move past him, but stumbling. Arjun caught her just before she fell. "Sorry" she said softly, her hands squeezing the soft material of his black button up shirt. Arjun's hand drifted slowly up and down her spine, sending shivers up her arms. Slowly he let go and backed up. "Stay awhile longer." he said softly . No came to Arohi's lips but instead she nodded her head yes. "No more wine for me" she said. "I think I finished off more then half the bottle" she said with a smile as she titled her face to look up at him. Arjun swallowed, "Did I tell you, you look beautiful today." he said before he could stop himself. "Stunning and sexy," he continued. Arohi felt her mouth go dry. "Um, thanks" she said slowly. "This is one of my creations." she began. "It's a beautiful creation." he said tracing his fingertip along the inside of her arm as he looked into her eyes. Arohi froze. Some how she didn't think he was talking about her outfit. "Um, where's Seema tonight?" Arohi asked backing up quickly to the sofa. Arjun paused for a moment and then finally said. "Seema and I broke up." Arohi stared at him open mouthed. "Since when!!!?!" she asked. "Since a couple of days ago." he answered gruffly. "Why didn't you tell me?" Arohi asked, her hands on her hips. "What is there to tell?" "We broke up, end of story." Arohi continued to stare at him. And then a slow happiness swept through her. "Did you break it off or did she?" she asked. "What does it matter?' Arjun replied. Arohi sighed..it did matter! "Arjun, come on tell me!" "Fine, I broke it off, and it wasn't her fault. She's a a great catch." "But for me right now my first priority is my daughter. It wouldn't be fair to her if I just led her on when I myself am not ready for a relationship." Arohi nodded. "May I have some coffee?" she finally asked. Arjun nodded and 5 minutes later he brought her just that. As she sipped, she stole glances of him. He had broken up with Seema. OMG! She thought happily. This was the best news ever! Arjun peered curiously at Arohi. Something was going on in that head of hers. Finally he couldn't take it any more! "What are you thinking?" he asked. Arohi shrugged in response. Arjun furrowed his eyebrows in frustration. "What kind of answer is that?" he asked. Arohi shrugged again as a little smile played on her lips. The wine was making her feel so mellow and relaxed. And Arjun's news about Seema was making her giddy. She wasn't ready to analyze exactly why she was so happy that Arjun had broken up with Seema. But she was.

Arjun frowned and then his eyes took on a determined glint. "Are you going to tell me or am I going to have to use my own methods to get it out of you?" he asked. A giggle escaped from her lips before she could stop it. Arjun's eyes narrowed in determination. Almost as if she knew he was going to reach for her she moved out of his reach giggling as she jumped off the sofa. Arjun got up and moved towards her. "Are you going to tell me now?" he asked again. Arohi shook her head no, a big smile on her lips. We'll see about that, Arjun thought as he moved towards her quickly. Arohi danced out of his reach, laughing and sticking her tongue out at him. Arjun's eyes took on that determined glint again as he chased Arohi to the coffee table. Him on one side and Arohi on the other. 'Give up?" he asked. "Never!" Arohi squealed as she took a few steps to get away from him. Thinking she got away, she was surprised to feel Arjun's arm wrap around her stomach and pull her back against his hard chest. Arohi giggled as she struggled trying to move away from him. "Give up?" Arjun asked close to her ear. "NEVER!" she said with a laugh pushing against him. That's when the tickling started. Arjun knew Arohi's weakness, he knew how ticklish she was. "NO!" "Arjun stop it!" Arohi said in between her laughter. As she laughed she some how managed to turn so that she was against him. It was almost instantly that an awareness settled over both Arohi and Arjun. Arjun stopped tickling her ribs and Arohi stopped laughing as she looked up at him with wide eyes. Arjun felt his mouth go dry as his hand reached up to softly cup her face. The two of them staring back at each other. "You're going to make the first move." suddenly flashed through his brain. He had told Arohi he'd leave it to her to make the move next time. As he looked down at her trembling lips he cursed himself for making such a stupid statement. But he did move back. Arohi watched as Arjun stepped back. Surprise evident on her face. And then she saw him clench his hand into a fist, as if to stop himself from reaching out for her. The two stared at each other for a moment before Arohi finally mumbled "I should get going." Arjun didn't respond as he watched her walk to the table and grab her purse. He watched as she made her way to the door, her hand settling on the doorknob. And then he couldn't take it anymore, as he took a few steps towards her to stop her, Arohi turned around and suddenly she was running into his arms. Throwing herself against him as she cupped his face and kissed him. Arjun's eyes widened and for a moment shock settled over him.

But he got over that pretty quickly. His hands wrapped around her hips pulling her closer and his mouth made soft slow love to hers. Kissing her deeper and deeper. Arohi moaned against his lips, pressing herself even closer. Arjun's hands skimmed over her body settling back on her hips and holding her in place. Arohi's hands moved to the buttons of his shirt, fumbling a little as she opened them. Never breaking the kiss. As she pushed his shirt off of him, her hands came to settle over his chest and move over his shoulders. Arjun felt like he was burning up. Arohi touching him had always driven him crazy. His kiss turned more passionate as his hand moved to the zipper on the back of her dress and painstakingly slowly he zipped it down. Arohi was whimpering by the time she felt his warm hands on the small of her back. "I want you so much!" he said gruffly against her neck. Arohi arched her neck and said "Arjun, please!" As Arohi's dress slipped to the floor his lips made their way to her shoulders, leaving a trail of warm kisses that were driving Arohi crazy. As he bit down against her neck she wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed herself closer. "You're so sexy Arohi!" "You still make me crazy and if possible I want you even more then before." Arjun's hands and mouth were making her delirious with need. Her hands moved to his belt, unbuckling it. Arohi's eyes closed as liquid heat flowed through her. Arjun's kisses were following the route of his hands and she was on fire. And then she felt him scoop her in his arms. His lips settling back on to hers for a soft deep kiss. But Arohi wanted more, she tugged at his hair and deepened their kiss. She heard the deep groan that vibrated through him as his kiss became more and more intense. He laid her down gently on his bed and with eyes filled with desire he stared down at the beautiful woman that lay in front of him. He knew she had no idea how damn sexy she looked, her hair spread out against his white sheets, her gorgeous body arching up, waiting for him to touch her again. Her beautiful eyes filled with desire for him, her lips plump from his kisses. Stepping out of the rest of his clothes he joined her on the bed. His mouth and hands driving her crazy until she was practically begging him to make love to her. And when he finally did... it was with such tenderness ...that Arohi felt tears spring to her eyes. Arjun stared back at her, gently wiping the tears away and pressing his lips against hers. A feeling of contentment settled over Arjun afterwards as he pulled Arohi against him, settling her head on his chest as he held her tightly. Pressing a soft kiss against her forehead. As he looked down at her sleeping face he knew he was in trouble. There was no missing it, he was falling back in love with his ex wife.
