(Y/N's P.o.V)

When I came to, I could hear the sounds of car horns and I could see bright flashing lights through my closed eyelids. I opened up my eyes and rubbed my head in pain, wondering how it was I had managed to survive that.

(Y/N): "Whoa! That was terrifying! Lord knows what that was all about. No one's gonna believe me, I can't wait to see everyone's faces when I tell them about this."

My sight then returned to me and I realised that I was lying on a cold, hard pavement in some sort of city. It was moderately futuristic with an old-fashioned look to it, it was kind of hard to describe, but the buildings and well... generally everything didn't look real at all! Even the people looked odd but yet... oddly familiar. I gathered up my backpack that was set beside me and walked down the street, trying to look as normal as I could and find some sort of sign or something that could tell me where I was. I looked up and saw all sorts of space-age ships coming in from the skies!

(Y/N): "How is this all possible? Where am I?"

As I continued my path down the street, I saw passing people staring at me through the corner of my eye. This could only mean that my kind of look was not normal here. I decided to switch from the main streets to the alleyways, there were absolutely no people down them so I was safe from the staring. I was trying to remember what had happened back in the graveyard but I was too mesmerised by the sudden change in scenery to remember. I kept walking down the alleyway until I reached, what looked like, the richer part of the city. It seemed like I had entered the commercial district. There were all kinds of shops on both sides of the road: Bookshops, bars, clothes shops etc. The streets were lit by holographic street lamps and the buildings had an old-fashioned style to them but, in terms of condition, they looked like they had just been built yesterday! Once again, the people were continuously staring at me so I decided to go inside the clothes shop to try and buy a hoodie or something to hide my face. I then felt something on my shoe so I looked down and saw a turquoise plastic card, same size as a credit card, with a black magnetic strip on the back and a small 'L' with two lines through it on the front. I recognised the 'L' symbol but I couldn't quite put my finger on where I knew it from. From the place it was dropped, I assumed it was money so I put it in my pocket and entered the clothes shop. It mostly sold jackets, coats, boots and hats but I didn't manage to find any sort of clothing that I needed. I decided to walk up to the counter and ask but, unfortunately, the shopkeeper had the same reaction to my face as everyone else did.

Shopkeeper: "Hello. How may I help- oh my God..."

(Y/N): "Don't ask. I'm looking for any sort of long clothing that hides the face, I think you can guess what I need it for."

Shopkeeper: "T-Try the shelves in the corner..."

(Y/N): "Thank you."

I walked over to the corner shelves that the shopkeeper had mentioned and found an assortment of gloves and coats but nothing to hide my face.

(Y/N): "Oh no... umm... let's see... come on..."

I rummaged through the shelves until my hand was caught on something sharp. I recoiled my hand from the sudden prick on my finger but then I carefully put my hand underneath the object, taking great care not to prick myself on its sharp edges again, and pulled it out. It was quite a large mask... well not really a mask... sort of... well... I didn't really know what it was. All I knew was two things, it went on my head and what it looked like. It had two large pointed lenses which reached from my eyes down to just below my chin and the top of those lenses were bordered by a black piece of plastic decorated with yellow triangular shapes in between the lenses and the black colour. The lenses were very hard to see out of from the front but, once I looked through them the other way round, I could see out of them clearly! It seemed that it covered up my eyes and cheekbones but not my chin or mouth, although I think people would have been more interested in the mask than anything else. I held it up in the air so that I didn't have to turn around and show my face to the shopkeeper again.

(Y/N): "Hey Mr. Shopkeeper? What's this?"

Shopkeeper: "That old thing? Nothing really, I just bought it off of a garage sale."

(Y/N): "A garage sale? Well... it's very nice. Is it for sale?"

Shopkeeper: "W-Well I suppose."

(Y/N): "How much?"

Shopkeeper: "I'd say that's worth ten."

(Y/N): "Ten? Okay. Let me get over to the counter first. Is it alright if I put the mask on now?"

Shopkeeper: "Sure! Sure! Go ahead!"

I put the mask on my head and tightened the strap so that it wouldn't fall off. From the outside, the lenses were slightly tinted blue but, from the inside, there was no tint effect on my vision! It was a strange find to say the least. I walked up to the counter and opened up my backpack, rummaging around for some money but I couldn't find any. I then remembered the card that was in my pocket so I put my backpack over my shoulder again and reached inside my pocket.

(Y/N): "How much did you say it was?"

Shopkeeper: "Ten Sir."

(Y/N): "Will this cover it?"

I gave the shopkeeper the card and he stared at it with an amazed expression as he faced me again.

Shopkeeper: "This will more than cover it! Unfortunately, I don't have enough in the register for change."

(Y/N): "Ok then... uhh... I'll take..."

My eyes glanced through the shopkeeper's stock. I left the counter and picked up a long white overcoat, a pair of white gloves and a pair of black boots. I returned to the counter and placed them on it.

(Y/N): "These."

Shopkeeper: "You've just made my life a whole lot easier."

He then handed me a yellow card which was similar to the card I gave him and a receipt.

Shopkeeper: "And here's your twenty Lien change."

(Y/N): "Lien?"

I froze when I heard that word. Now I knew I had heard that somewhere before as well, a picture was appearing in my mind of someone holding a wallet full of those different coloured cards but I couldn't make out who that person was. I soon came back to my senses, thanked the shopkeeper and walked out of the shop. I put on all of my new clothes in a nearby alleyway and put my old ones in my backpack. I looked at my reflection in the shop window and I swear I could have been a body double for Masquerade from Bakugan.

A/N: Hands up who can remember watching that show, owning the pieces or even playing any of the games

(Y/N): "Not bad... not bad at all. I make this look good. Wow... I wouldn't want to encounter you on a dark night. Hehe."

I left the area of the clothes shop and continued walking down the street, I had a much more confident posture than before even though everyone was still staring and avoiding me. I flashed a smirk at one group of people and they all stepped away from me a bit as they passed me, leaving me chuckling under my breath when I realised how ridiculous that kind of reaction was. I kept walking and walking until I came to another shop which looked like it was made from marble or just faintly yellow brick. It was the sign however that had really made me stop and think.

(Y/N): "'From Dust Till Dawn'? From Dust Till Dawn? Why does that name seem so familiar? Also, how come I keep seeing things that I remember? I've never been here before, wherever this is. Might as well take a look."

I opened the door to the shop and the bell above it rung, signalling my entrance. The counter contained a glass display case with several differently coloured crystals inside it. I looked to my left and saw a few tubes with differently coloured powder inside them, it sort of looked like the Pick a Brick tubes you find in LEGO shops. Then, I looked over to the corner and saw a magazine stand so I took one and started to read it. It was a weapons magazine which depicted all sorts of different weapons and how to use them. Swords, hammers, daggers, guns, if you thought of something then they probably had it in the magazine. I then heard a familiar song playing. I turned around and saw a young girl wearing a red cloak with headphones on, listening to This Will Be The Day from Volume one of RWBY.

(Y/N): "Well I can't be far from home, they speak English and have RWBY here."

Girl: "Excuse me?"

(Y/N): "Huh?"

Girl: "Did you say my name?"

(Y/N): "No. Sorry if I misled you."

Girl: "That's okay."

The girl then put her headphones back on and as I examined some of the other shelves and products, I froze in sudden realisation! I knew who it was that I had just been talking to. But... that's impossible... was it? Anyway, I had to be sure. I approached the girl again but, just before I was about to speak to her once more, I heard the bell on the door ring but I dared not to spin around to see who it was.

???: "Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a Dust shop open this late?"

(Y/N): "Oh my God... I recognise that voice... please don't let it be who I think it is..."

I then heard the frightened voice of the shopkeeper as I subconsciously knew that he was being held at gunpoint.

Shopkeeper: "P-please! Just take my Lien and leave!"

???: "Shhh, shhh, shhh, shhh, calm down, we're not here for your money. Grab the Dust."

???: "Crystals. Burn. Uncut."

My ears then picked up the sound of thousands and thousands of tiny little crystals being poured out of the tubes on the walls into a little container. I then felt something poking in my back and heard the harsh voice of whoever was holding that object.

???: "Hands up and turn around!"

I did what I was told and put my hands up, slightly expecting that whatever he was holding could mean bad news for me if I was to get on his wrong side. Then, to the hastened beating of my heart, I turned around and saw that a man wearing red-tinted glasses, a black suit with a red tie and a black fedora hat was pointing his sword straight at my chest. He looked a bit confused when he saw me and what I was wearing but he then chuckled at what he saw.

Henchman: "Little early for Halloween son."

I quickly snuck a look behind him and saw someone who I instantly recognised at the counter! A man with bright, long orange hair and dark-green eyes which were slightly slanted, his hair covered his right eye while his left eye was traced with black eyeliner. He wore a red-lined white suit, black trousers and black shoes. He also wore a small grey scarf, black gloves and a black bowler hat with a feather in the red band around it and he also carried a cane in his hand. I could have recognised him from miles away. His name was Roman Torchwick.

(Y/N): "Wait! You?"

Henchman: "Eyes on me kid!"

(Y/N): "Look... I'm sure we can act like mature adults here."

Henchman: "You're not talking your way out of this so shut up and behave yourself!"

(Y/N): "Fine. Fine."

My eyes then met Roman's from across the room and he smirked a bit as he took another puff from his cigar, which he relighted with his lighter in his other hand.

Roman: "Please forgive this intrusion but... business is business."

(Y/N): "Oh don't worry, I understand. Since you seem busy, I'll... leave you to it."

Roman: "I'm sorry but I'm gonna have to ask you to stay a while. Security reasons, I'm sure you understand."

(Y/N): "Oh... I understand more than you think. I've heard of you, Roman Torchwick right?"

Roman: "News travels fast. If you would be so kind as to just stay where you are while the owner and I conduct business?"

(Y/N): "Sure, I quite enjoy having a sword pointed at my heart. One good thing I can say about your henchmen is... well... they aim to please. Hehe."

Roman: "Very clever but can you please keep your comments to a minimum?"

(Y/N): "Okay... okay. I'll shut up."

I was kept there for a while before I saw one of the henchmen go towards the magazine stand. I smiled as I remembered what was supposed to happen and I waited to make my move. I looked over to the corner where I saw one of the henchmen pointing his sword at the red-hooded girl.

Henchman 2: "Alright kid, put your hands where I can see 'em!"

He got no response from the girl.

Henchman 2: "Hey, I said hands in the air! You got a death wish or something?!"

He then went over to her and turned her around, this made her drop her hood and reveal her face. I saw that she had black hair which stopped at her neck, the colour gradated to dark red at the tips of her hair. She wear a black, long sleeved dress with red trims on the sleeves, a black waist cincher belt with red lacing at the front and a black skirt which also had a red trim around it. I also saw that she also wore a pair of thick black stockings and black boots with red laces and trims. I then looked at her silver eyes and my head was filled with emotions of shock and confusion.

Ruby: "Yes?"

Henchman 2: "I said, put your hands in the air, now!"

Ruby: "Are you... robbing me?"

Henchman 2: "Yes!"

Ruby: "Ohhh..."

I then heard a "Hey!" and a "Hyah!" and the henchmen flew past Roman and were thrust upon the wall! Roman motioned for another one to take her on so, while everyone's attention was on her, I sprinted for the door. Before anyone could realise, I was gone! I kept running and running until I stopped at the wall of a nearby building to catch my breath. As I panted and panted, I tried to piece together what on Earth was happening.

(Y/N): "There's no way that could've been real! This is all just a dream, I know it! Just a crazy dream! In a few moments, I will wake up!"

However, I soon felt as if this felt all too real to be a dream. I mean, can you actually harm yourself in your dreams? Do you feel pain in them? Do you feel exhaustion? I started panicking even more but my eyes trailed upwards and I saw a ladder which had its bottom half slided upwards off the ground.

(Y/N): "Wait! If they're over there... then this must be... no way!"

Sudden blasts of noise then filled the air, they sounded like Crescent Rose's gunshots! I looked to the ladder again and I knew that this must have been the building which Roman climbs up after Ruby defeats all his henchmen.

(Y/N): "Alright! If those two come up this building, I'll have all the proof I need!"

I jumped and stretched to try to get the ladder to come down but I could not reach it. My eyes then traced to the floor and I saw a discarded wrench on the floor and my head's light bulb was lit up with an idea. I picked up the wrench and threw it at the ladder, the impact caused the ladder's bottom half to fall to the ground.

(Y/N): "A wrench can be quite a precision tool, as long as you know exactly where to throw it."

The gunshots sounded like they were getting closer so I frantically climbed the ladder to the top. As soon as I was on the roof, I hid behind a small brick wall and waited. As I crouched down though, I felt a sudden sharpness on my back and, after yelling out in pain, I saw that I had sat on some sort of strong wire, maybe piano wire. I then looked to my left and saw a stray nail sticking out of the roof. Another idea entered my head as I chuckled to myself. I quickly got up and tied the wire to the nail and waited behind the wall. After a few moments, I heard the noise of someone coming up the ladder and an evil smile crossed my face. I peeked over the wall and saw Roman coming up to the roof and shot back over to the wall. As he was about to run over the wire, I yanked it and the wire grew stiff and tripped him over, sending him flying face-first down onto the roof!

Roman: "Ah!"

While I was laughing behind the wall, Roman spotted me and came up to me behind my back.

Roman: *ahem*

(Y/N): "Uh-oh..."

I turned around and saw him standing over me, staring straight at me. His angered expression soon turned into a smirk when he spoke.

Roman: "So... you see yourself as quite a comedian? Well masked avenger, I prefer-"

He then pointed his cane at me and opened the bottom which, to my terror, revealed a secret rifle cannon with a cross-hair on top of it!

Roman: "Dark humour!"

(Y/N): "Hehe. Uhh... is it too late for us to be friends?"

Roman: "So long kid."

Suddenly, another shot was heard by the two of us and Ruby dropped out of the sky, she landed right behind Roman!

Ruby: "Hey! Leave him alone!"

Roman: *turns around* "Persistent..."

(Y/N): "Hey! Top hat!"

Roman: "What?!"

As soon as he turned around, I punched him as hard as I could across his face. He fell to the ground out of surprise, holding his cheek, as I stared in surprise at my own fist.

(Y/N): "Wow... hey... I just punched Roman Torchwick... hehe..."

I then started chuckling and giggling uncontrollably as Roman got back to his feet. Ruby looked ready to fight him but then the air was filled with a sound similar to a jet engine. I looked up and saw that a Bullhead had arrived at the building for his getaway. A hatch on the Bullhead opened up and Roman rushed inside, turned around and held a red crystal of Dust!

(Y/N): "Uh-Oh... now would be a good time to run!"

I sprinted over to the wall as fast as I could, hoping to find cover before what I knew was going to happen happened!

Roman: "End of the line, Red! Oh! And as for that mask kid, you can run but you can't hide!"

He then threw the Dust at Ruby's feet and fired his rifle at it, which resulted in a large fiery explosion! I heard the loud noise of the explosion so I vaulted over the wall and pressed myself against it before the flames could hit me.

Roman: "Whoa! Ho-ho-ho! Huh?"

I peered over the top of the wall and saw that a blonde woman in a purple cape and wearing glasses was now casting a protection spell over Ruby and herself with her wand that she held!

(Y/N): "Is that... Glynda Goodwitch?!"

Ruby watched as Glynda waved her wand and several shots of purple energy were shot at the Bullhead from her wand! I saw Roman being thrown around in the back until he disappeared to the cockpit. I could still hear his shouting over the engine.

Roman: "We got a Huntress!"

Glynda then glowed purple for a few seconds and shot another blast above it, causing a dark storm cloud to appear over the jet! Then, with a simple flick of her wand, massive jagged hailstones started crashing into the jet engine! One hailstone broke the window and narrowly missed Roman's head! I then saw a woman stand at the open hatch and her arms and chest were glowing like flames! I remembered who this was and immediately ducked under the wall, not daring to look over again. I held my ears as I heard the crashes of their conflicting duel, I could feel the hot embers of the explosions that were set ablaze with every crash! After a while of hearing those thrilling noises behind me, my ears were also met with the noise of Crescent Rose's shots, which meant that Ruby was finally joining in on the action. I then heard a greater explosion, somewhat louder than before, I looked over the wall slightly and saw that the hatch on the craft closed and it flew away from the building. I could also see Ruby fangirling over Glynda because of the fact that she was a Huntress.

Ruby: "You're a Huntress! Can I have your autograph?!"

Glynda's face then turned deadly serious so I slowly got up and started to creep away.

(Y/N): "Now would be a great time to take my leave and..."

I turned around for a moment and saw the two of them looking straight at me, Glynda's face as stern as it was with Ruby.

(Y/N): "And... and... and..."

Later...

(Y/N): "And I'm in deep trouble..."

I looked over to see Ruby sitting on a chair next to me with a face as full of shame as mine was. Meanwhile, Glynda was pacing around the table we were both sat at with a tablet computer in her hands. I almost couldn't see properly because of the bright light bulb overhead.

Glynda: "I hope that the both of you realise that your actions tonight will not be taken lightly. You put yourselves and others in great danger."

Ruby: "They started it!"

(Y/N): "Well this is just great..."

Glynda: "If it were up to me, you'd both be sent home.... with a pat on the back..."

Ruby smiled when she said that but I mentally counted down from three, waiting for what happened next.

Glynda: "... And a slap on the wrist!"

She quickly slapped the table with her wand but Ruby instantly moved her wrist out of the way, narrowly missing it and letting out a small yelp. I sighed discretely as I watched this event unfold.

Glynda: "But... there is someone here who would like to meet you both."

She then moved away so that we could see a middle-aged man with silver hair and brown eyes, dressed in black and green with glass spectacles come through the door; he was holding a mug and a plate of cookies.

(Y/N): "Okay... now I know I'm dreaming."

Ozpin: "Ruby Rose... You... have silver eyes."

Ruby: "Uh, um..."

He then looked over to me, which made my heart stop for a short while before it hastened its scared beating again.

Ozpin: "What's your name?"

(Y/N): "(Y-Y/N) sir... (Y/N) (L/N)."

Ozpin: "Well it's nice to meet you (Y/N). By the way, I like your style. Cool mask."

(Y/N): "Um... thanks?"

Ozpin: "So! Ms. Rose? Where did you learn to do this?"

He then motioned with his head to the tablet, which was showing Ruby fighting all of Torchwick's henchmen.

Ruby: "S-Signal Academy."

Ozpin: "They taught you to use one of the most dangerous weapons ever designed?"

Ruby: "Well, one teacher in particular."

Ozpin: "I see..."

He then put the cookies on the table and Ruby picked one up and ate it in a single bite. Then, after seeing no signs of stopping her, she immediately shoved the rest into her mouth! It was one thing watching it on a screen but, when you see it for yourself, you sort of question whether she actually was human. Surprisingly, Ruby stopped herself and offered one to me.

Ruby: "Want one?"

(Y/N): "No thanks... I don't eat them."

Ruby: "Suit yourself. More for me!"

She then continued eating her cookies as fast as she could while I stared at her, bewildered at how she can fit so many of them into her mouth at once.

Ozpin: "It's just that I've only seen one other scythe-wielder of the skill before. A dusty, old crow..."

Ruby: *mumbling through her full mouth* "Oh! That's my uncle!" *swallows and wipes her mouth* "Sorry. That's my Uncle Qrow! He's a teacher at Signal. I was complete garbage until he took me under his wing. And now, I'm all like- Hooowaaah! Witchaaaa!"

She then proceeded to making even more noises and martial arts-style poses. I face-palmed myself as I watched her making a fool of herself.

Ozpin: "So I've noticed." *places his mug on the table* "And what is an adorable girl such as yourself doing at a school designed to train warriors?"

Ruby: "Well... I want to be a Huntress."

Ozpin: "You want to slay monsters?"

Ruby: "Yeah! I only have two more years of training left at Signal and then I'm going to apply to Beacon! You see, my sister's starting there this year and she's trying to become a Huntress, and I'm trying to become a Huntress 'cause I wanna help people. My parents always taught us to help others, so I thought 'Hey, I might as well make a career out of it'!" *giggles* "I mean the police are alright but Huntsmen and Huntresses are just so much more romantic and exciting and cool and really, gosh, you know!

She really flipped out then, she was staring at Ozpin and Glynda with a wide and crazy smile.

(Y/N): "It's a wonder how you still have air in your body after saying all that so quickly. Wonders will never cease."

Ozpin: "And as for you."

(Y/N): "Uh-oh..."

Ozpin: "It seems a bit too coincidental that you were first near Ruby here when the Dust shop was robbed but then you're on the same building she was about to go onto, waiting to catch the criminal with a trap that was prepared by you. How did you know that that building was the one you needed to wait at?"

I thought for a moment, trying to think of a way out of the situation I was in. I couldn't tell them the truth but I doubt they'll fall for any of my lies. Instead, I just said the first thing that came into my head.

(Y/N): "Just lucky I guess... or unlucky, depends on how you look at it."

Ozpin: "So it does..."

Glynda and Ozpin then started eyeing the both of us closely, I had a feeling that they were studying us and thinking about the implications of what we had both just said.

Ozpin: "Do either of you know who I am?"

(Y/N): "Well I know who you are. How about you?"

Ruby: "Of course I know! You're Professor Ozpin, the headmaster at Beacon."

Ozpin: *smiles* "Hello."

Ruby: "Nice to meet you."

I just stayed silent as I didn't really want to get involved.

Ozpin: "You want to come to my school?"

Ruby: "More than anything."

He then exchanged glances with Glynda, who was showing her disapproval with a short "Hmph", before he turned back to face Ruby.

Ozpin: "Well, okay."

Ruby then smiled, wide-eyed and with her mouth agape.

(Y/N): "Well, this is obviously a private matter so I'll just take my leave if you don't mind?"

I stood up and walked to the door but I was stopped in my tracks by Ozpin's voice.

Ozpin: "Wait a moment (Y/N). Please sit back down."

I sighed and did as he told me. I sat down and prepared myself for death but it never came, instead there was complete silence in the room as Ozpin was deep in thought.

(Y/N): "Um... aren't I getting punished?"

Ozpin: "Punished?! Oh no, absolutely not."

(Y/N): "Well then... what do you need me here for?"

Ozpin: "You may not have demonstrated your physical skill yet but I have seen that you have a crafty brain and that sort of mind can go a long way in this world."

(Y/N): "W-What are you trying to say sir?"

Ozpin: "I'm saying that I want you to come to my school, as well as Ruby."

I then sniggered and burst into laughter as I thought that he was joking. My laughter died down when I noticed that no one else was laughing. I eyed all three of them curiously until I realised that he wasn't joking.

(Y/N): "Wait! Are you serious?"

Ozpin: "When it comes to my students, I'm always serious."

(Y/N): "... Me?"

Ozpin: "Yes. Like I said before, you may not have much physical skill but I believe that you do have a lot of mental skill. Besides, you know a lot more than you're letting on. With proper training, I am certain that you can become a great Huntsman."

(Y/N): "I-I could?"

Ozpin: "No. You can."

I sat in my chair in silence, contemplating what he had just told me. He then stood up and motioned Ruby and Glynda out of the room.

Ozpin: "Remember that I won't force you to go if you don't wish to. However, I see a lot of potential in you that can be awoken if you choose to apply to Beacon. We'll give you some time to think it over. Once you've reached your decision, come outside and tell me."

He then left the room along with Ruby and Glynda, leaving me alone under the bright radiance of the light bulb. I was sat alone in that room for God knows how long, thinking hard about my decision. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. On one hand, I could attend Beacon and gain the training I need to become a Huntsman just like the characters from the show and maybe I could find a way home while I'm on missions but, on the other hand, it would've been extremely dangerous for me because I would have to face those... things. Many creatures of Grimm entered my head and I shivered at the thought of it. However, when I thought about it, those things would be all over the place anyway so I thought that it would be best if I learned how to defend myself against them. I stood up and exited the room, meeting Ozpin, Glynda and Ruby outside.

(Y/N): "... I'll do it."

Ozpin then smiled and shook my hand. This would be one hell of an adventure...

A few days later...

I had grown quite accustomed to living in Remnant. After a few days, you'll find that it's just like living on Earth, just without the monsters living between civilisations. I was sat in the large airship, that was taking me and most of the other students to Beacon, reading an old book I found in my backpack. Seems that I really did lose quite a lot of stuff in there. I then heard the familiar voice of one of the characters.

Yang: "Oh, I can't believe my baby sister is going to Beacon with me! This is the best day ever!"

Ruby: "Please stop..."

I looked up from my book to see a blonde haired girl with lilac eyes, wearing a yellow crop top with a black emblem on it and a brown jacket, a brown belt and black mini-shorts, crushing the air out of Ruby. I smiled a bit as I recognised who it was and watched as she released her sister.

Yang: "But I'm so proud of you!"

Ruby: "Really Sis, it was nothing."

Yang: "What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees."

Ruby: "I don't want to be the "bee's knees", okay? I don't want to be any kind of knees! I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees."

I almost chuckled at that line but I didn't. I got up and moved to the back corner of the ship, as I already knew how that conversation played out and I wanted some time to myself. After a few moments, I heard the news reports about the Dust shop robbery and the Faunus Civil Rights protest. I sighed and looked inside my bag for my MP3 player, I knew that I had must have lost it in there. I rummaged through my stuff and I found a LOT of things that I didn't even know were in there. I didn't even know what some of it even was! I soon found my MP3 Player and a pair of headphones. I was about to put the headphones on but then the news feed was cut off when a hologram of Glynda Goodwitch replaced it.

Glynda: "Hello and welcome to Beacon!"

Yang: "Who's that?"

Glynda: "My name is Glynda Goodwitch."

Yang: "Oh."

Glynda: "You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace and, as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world."

Then, the hologram disappeared and the cries of surprise from all the other students looking out of the windows filled the ship. I looked out of the window as well and saw the town below.

Ruby: "I guess home isn't too far after all!"

Yang: "Beacon's our home now."

As soon as she said that, I thought of all that was to come. I spoke quietly to myself in response.

(Y/N): "Yes... it is our home... for now..."

I then felt someone bump into me really quickly. I looked back and saw someone running to the back of the ship.

(Y/N): "Hey! Excuse you!"

I then saw who it was and laughed a little before I went back to my reading.

(Y/N): "Poor guy."

The sight of water then entered my vision through the corner of my eye and, as I looked out of the window once again, I saw Beacon Academy. It was surely a sight to behold, everything's so different when you see it for yourself. As Ruby and Yang were shouting for "Vomit Boy" to get away from them, I smiled.

(Y/N): "Insert This Will Be the Day here, I guess..."

I saw that the ship was coming in to land so I prepared myself for the landing and closed my eyes as I thought about all that I was about to go through.

(Y/N): "Yep... one hell of an adventure..."

To be continued...
