smile for me
Yesterday when Jungwoo dropped by to give Yukhei his wallet he'd left and then Hendery and Yangyang stopped by for a staring contest Jeno was in a beyond elated mood. Reason being, Jaemin FaceTimed him when he woke up and smiled.
Yes. That was it. Jaemin's smile was enough to put Jeno good mood for the entire day. Even when Donghyuk pranked him and said his cat died he frowned and then remembered that Jaemin smiled at him. He went to bed smiling and woke smiling.
Right now, he just woke up and did his usual routine of sitting in bed and waiting Jaemin to call him like he did everyday. Except today's routine was ruined when someone knocked on the door.
"Whom is their right mind, would ever knock on someone's front door at eight in the morning?" Jeno grumbled. Nobody else would be up right now except for Doyoung who'd be cooking up breakfast. Jeno was right because he smelled something good from the kitchen in his way to the door.
Jeno rubbed his eyes after he opened the door because he could swear he was seeing his boyfriend and his boyfriend's little sister.
"J- Jaemin?" His boyfriend looked up at him with empty eyes.
"Our parents were arguing all night. Haeun slept in my bed with me last night and always wakes up at the ass cr- butt crack of dawn so we've been up since then and it was all good until dad woke up and I guess mom was already up and they started arguing about... I wasn't even listening to them, i was just trying to keep Haeun smiling and busy and she said she wanted to see you and it didn't sound like a bad idea so here we are." Jaemin have a weak smile at the end of his explanation. Haeun, without hesitation stepped closer to Jeno and wrapped her around his waist.
"Did you at least tell them?" Jeno asked while picking up the small girl.
"I left a note on her bed. Mom always goes to see her in the morning before me." Jeno moved out of the way and let Jaemin in and closed the door while still holding the child.
"Hyung, Jaemin and his sister are here. Is there enough for them to eat?"
"Oh no, don't worry about me I'm not hungry. Haeunnie should have some snacks in here bag so she'll be alright." Jaemin didn't want to intrude. Doyoung scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Nonsense. Jaemin you will be eating what I cooked and so will your kid sister. She can watch cartoons while you two go wake everyone up. Jaemin, I suggest you wake Yuta. He seems to like you more than Jeno." Jeno and Jaemin went their separate ways in the hallway to wake people.
"Yuta hyung? Wakey wakey." Jaemin whispered into Yuta's ear. The latter opened an eye and then screamed. Said scream caused Johnny to jolt up, look at Jaemin, and also scream. Well his was manlier than Yuta's but that isn't important, right?
"It's a Jaemin. Hello there, Jaemin. And to what do I owe this pleasure to?" Yuta mumbled. He wasn't completely awake even after screaming.
"Doyoung Hyung says it's one to eat."
"Thanks, kid. I'll take it from here. Well ill carry him out." Johnny rolled out of his bed and onto the floor as if that was something he did everyday. Which it most definitely was. Jaemin then moved on to the next room which held sleeping Kun and Donghyuk.
He decided on waking Kun first which he figured would be easy. He was proven false.
"Holy fuck, why won't he wake up?" Jaemin mumbled to himself.
"He's a heavy sleeper." Jaemin squealed and turned around to see Donghyuk scrolling on his phone.
"When did you get up?"
"I woke up when you opened the door."
"Yikes."
"Oh Jisung, hey!" Donghyuk rose his voice when he spoke. Kun almost immediately sat up and looked around the room.
"You ass." He said when he realised Jisung wasn't there.
"You're free. Jeno probably woke everyone else up." Jaemin weakly smiled and left the room. Back in the kitchen, Doyoung was setting plates on the table, Yuta was sitting on Johnny's lap clinging onto him for dear life and Jaemin was pretty sure he was still sleeping, and Jeno was drinking a glass of milk. Jaemin went in the living room where his sister was found watching TV.
"What are you watching?"
"I don't know. It's in English. I know lots of English words because of daddy!" Jaemin remembered a time when he was like that.
"Yeehaw, good morning, hello Jaemin, hello small child." Renjun said as he sat down beside Haeun. The little girl suddenly became nervous and hid her face in her brother's flannel.
"Oppa, who is he? Very pretty." Jaemin laughed at the girl's words.
"That's Renjun. Remember when Chenle told you about him?"
"Yes. They boyfriends?" Jaemin nodded his head.
"Come and eat. Xuxi and Renjun can you two eat out there so Jaemin and his sister can eat here?" Jaemin walked himself and the little girl to the table. He took at seat beside Jeno and Haeun sat on the other side of him. They ate in a peaceful silence that Jaemin didn't expect considering Xuxi was there.
"Yuta and Johnny, your turn to do the dishes." Yuta groaned and flailed his arms and legs around for about three seconds before remembering the child there and got up cursing under his breath.
"What do you want to do, Haeunnie?" The girl put a hand on her chin and gave it some thought.
"Can I colour? I brought my books!" Jeno smiled and nodded.
"We can go in my room." Jeno led the siblings to his, Renjun, and Xuxi's room. He helped Haeun get settled at Renjun's desk. She said a small 'thank you' and began colouring. Jeno pat her head and turned to Jaemin. He pulled the boy to the far side of the room where his bed was. He pulled him into his lap making sure they were facing each other.
"Tell me about it?" Jeno rubber his lower back. Jaemin took a deep breath.
"I'm staring to think they might get a divorce... I mean, that would mean them going back to the states and then coming back picking which kid their taking. I don't wanna separate from my sister again. And you know, that's not the worst part. They have anger sex! It's literally the worst! Like the moans, I didn't know mom could be that loud! My poor baby sister keeps asking me 'why is mommy so loud?' How in the hell am I supposed to answer that?" Jaemin sighed and laid his head on Jeno's shoulder.
"I don't know, baby. I'm sorry. I hope none of that happens." Jeno was at a loss for words. They kept talking about it for at least an hour.
"Yeah. We'll be okay though."
"Hey, you know what? I'm tired of you frowning. Smile for me."
"I can't. I'm too sad." Jeno moved his fingers around on Jaemin's sides.
"No, stop!" Jaemin attempted to hold back his laughter and smiles.
"Not until you smile for me."
"Fine, fine!" Jaemin surrendered. Jeno took his hands away from Jaemin's sides and held his waist.
"Come on, smile for me." Jeno smiled at Jaemin and Jaemin couldn't help but smile back. It was cute.
"I want a boyfriend too." The boys looked at the pouting little girl.
"Are you sure? You don't want a girlfriend?"
"Jaemin don't corrupt her."
"Oppa, I want a boyfriend. Let's go buy one!"
"Yeah, that's not how it works, sweetheart." Renjun smiled as he walked in the room.
"Let's go to the park."
"Jeno, it's eleven in the morning."
"Renjun, I wasn't talking to you. I was talking to my boyfriend and his sister."
"Yes, lets go park!" Haeun dropped her pink crayon and ran out the room.
"Jesus, it looks like we're going to the park." Jaemin said as he got out of Jeno's grip and walked out the room.
"Renjun, want me bring you back something?"
"Preferably some candy." Jeno nodded and followed the siblings. They enjoyed their day at the park and even ran into some familiar faces. But I supposed that isn't too important.
so like i was watching a movie and i just finished this. and i have 61 questions left for my homework that's due tmr😕. and thirty definitions to write. enjoy.
