Raven quietly entered the school gates, on her skateboard, with her hood up to hide her face. She made sure that her sleeves were down, so nobody would notice the cuts she made on herself.

She sighed, and lifted up her skateboard, then stuffed it into her bag, and made her way into school.

The hallway was packed with teens, making it easier for her not to get noticed.

She was a freak. Right?

The demon made her way to her locker, and shoved her skateboard and a few books into it, then shut it, and started to make her way to her first class, but was stopped by someone shoving her against the lockers.

It was none other than Damian Wayne, and his gang of psychos.

“Well, look what we have here. The demon bitch decided to come to school today, huh? Where were you yesterday,” he asked, smirking evilly up at her. Damian liked her. He was in love with her. But he hurt her. He didn't know how to show her his feelings. He knew that she'd never accept him, after everything he did to her.

“None of your business,” she replied, with no emotion. Something the demon had mastered. No matter how much Damian hurt her, mentally and physically, she'd never show him a single emotion. And that's probably what made him want to hurt her more. He wanted to get an emotion out of her.

Like in the old days. When they were best friends. You could never seperate the two. They were always together. But all of that changed in highschool, when Damian started hanging out with the wrong crowd. But that was five years ago. Now they were seniors.

“When I ask you a question, you fucking answer it,” Damian said, glaring at the demon. If he had to be honest, the only reason he was asking was because he was worried sick about her. He couldn't get her off his mind, when she didn't come to school.

Was she ok? Did she get hurt? Why isn't she here? He needed her. He craved her.

“Look, you may be my bully, and you may think you have control over me, but you don't. If I don't want to tell you something, then I don't have to fucking tell you,” she said, shoving him off her, and walking away. You want to know the truth?

Raven had tried to commit suicide. She tried to end her miserable life. But it didn't work. Her healing powers saved her. So she tried again. She tried to hang herself, but because she was a demon, it didn't matter that there was no oxygen in her lungs. She was fine. So after two more attemps to kill herself, she finally gave up, and settled on cutting herself with a knife that was used to specifically leave scars on demon skin.

Damian glared at the demon's back, as she walked away. He could feel it in his gut, that something wrong had happened, when she wasn't at school. He thought about her committing suicide, but quickly let the thought drop, hating it. There was no way she'd try it...right.

Raven made her way into the cafeteria, and silently sat at her table, then opened a book, and started reading quietly.

She never ate at school. Cafeteria food tasted awful, and at home, she starved herself.

She silently read her book, completely forgetting her surroundings, until she felt movement by her table.

She looked up, and her eyes widened.

There, sitting right next to her, was Malcolm, better known as Malchior. Raven's ex. They broke up, but Malcolm was still super sweet to her. But he never sat with her, so this was new. Nobody knew they dated, so people looked at both of them in shock. The golden boy and the freak were sitting together.

“Mal? What are you doing here?” Raven asked, giving him a hug, to which he returned happily.

“I miss you. I mean, yesterday I was going through an old box of mine, and it had our old couple photos, and I couldn't help but think about you. I mean, it's not like I want to get back together, I just really miss you as a genuine friend,” he said, kissing Raven's forehead. Raven loved how Malcolm always got to the point.

Raven sent him a smile, and gave him a kiss, on the corner of his mouth. It was a normal gesture for them to do.

“I miss you too Mal. How have you been lately?” Raven asked, smiling as their conversation continued.

What both of them didn't notice, was the pissed off son of Bruce Wayne, glaring at them, from across the cafeteria.

What was he doing with her? Why did she never smile at him that way? Why did she kiss him?

Damian wanted to kill Malchior. So instead, he did something stupid, to let out his anger.

He told Donna Troy, the school's Queen Bee, everything he knew about Raven.

Raven quietly made her way out of her last class of the day, minding her own business. She just wanted to get out of school as soon and fast as possible. She stopped at her locker, to collect her skateboard, but was shoved against them by none other than Donna Troy. The girl who was absolutely obsessed with Damian, and hated Raven to the core.

[It's a fanfiction. Please don't be pissed that Donna's the mean girl]

“Sup demon,” she smirked evilly, standing in front of the poor demon.

“Sup slut,” Raven snarkily replied, looking Donna in the eye.

Donna glared at her, and shoved her, then smirked.

“You know, now I finally understand why everyone hates you. You're a mistake,” Donna says, examining her nails with a proud look.

Raven rolled her eyes, and gave Donna a pointed look.

“Oh really? Why?” she sarcastically replied. By now, a crowd had gathered, watching the drama. Damian was on his way down the hallway, and saw the crowd, so he decided to see what was going on.

“Well, I mean you weren't planned were you? If your dad raped your mom, and she tried to abort you, but it didn't work, then you must be a mistake,” Donna said evilly.

And that was when Raven broke. For the first time in a while, she broke... In public.

Tears rushed down her face, as she stood there in shock. She had no words. She was speechless.

“Who told you—”

“Damian,” she smirked.

Raven's eyes found Damian's emerald eyes in the crowd, and for once, she showed him an emotion. Just not the emotion he intended on seeing. Betrayal. Hate. Sadness.

“Well done Damian. You broke me. I hope you're happy,” she said, before rushing down the hallway, to outside the school.

“Raven wait!” Damian yelled, running after her. He felt horrible. In all his time bullying her, he never felt this guilty. He wanted to make things right.

Raven just continued to run down the steps of the school.

“Raven,” Damian yelled, catching her by her wrist, making her hiss in pain. Damian noticed, and looked down at her wrist. He wanted to cry, when he saw the slits on her wrist. His heart felt heavy, and his throat clogged up.

“Why?” he asked, looking at her with tears in his eyes.

She looked at him as if he was stupid, with tears rushing down her cheeks.

“Why?! I should be asking you that! In fact, I shouldn't even be talking to you. Leave me alone. You've done enough,” she cried, trying to walk away. Damian ran in front of her, and blocked her from moving any further.

“Raven, I'm sorry ok?! I really am! I was just angry at you and Malcolm! I was jealous ok?!” he yelled, trying to convince her. Tears ran down both of their faces.

“You had no right! No fucking right! You told one of your sluts something that I trusted you with. Even though you're my bully, I didn't think you'd stoop that low!” she cried, shoving him. Everything she said we're like punches to his heart. But what she said next, shattered it.

“You wanna know something? I tried to kill myself, yesterday when I didn't come to school. I tried to commit suicide five fucking times, because of you! Because of my father! Because I feel like a monster. A freak! So I settled on cutting myself,” she cries out, showing him her wrists.

Damian wanted to die. He hurt her. He hurt the person he loved more than anything. He made her try and kill herself.

“I'm done Damian. Done. Done hoping and praying that my old, sweet Damian would come back. Done taking your bullying. Done trying to remember that there's a good part of you. I'm done with you,” she cried, before placing a soft kiss on his lips, and walking away.

This time, Damian didn't stop her. He let her go. He set her free. But he knew he lost her.

For good this time.
