Maddison’s POV
It’s been a month and I can say that it’s not easy like other said na layuan ang mga taong pinahalagahaan mo na. The memories and companionship you had, they will chase you every day and worst every minute. Kaya pala after ng game nila iniiwasan na ako ni Jeron kasi yun pala ang usapan nila, the one who lose kailangan layuan ako. Siguro kung wala si Jade hindi ako makakaalis sa lugar na iyon, malalayo sa kanila. We decided to take bus going home as the sun rise. It’s been difficult for me to move on, ako ung napaglaruan but still parang di ko sila matiis lalo pa si Jeric, we were good friends.

“Let’s talk, Maddison. Please!”
For the nth time, hindi nagsawa ito. Simula noon ginawa niya ang lahat para magkausap kami but unfortunately, I have my two friends who always guard me against him. He even stalk me wherever I go, so, I decided to quit my part time job, para lang matahimik ako.
“Why don’t you give him a chance?” I saw how my sister’s eyebrows moved up-down. Tinago ko naman sa bulsa ko ang phone ko at lumabas ng kwarto, sumunod naman ito.
“Para saan pa?”
“For your friendship, ginawa na niya ang lahat but still nagmatigas ka. Hindi ka ba naaawa kay Jeric atleast sya he did everything just to have your forgiveness unlike Jeron, hindi man lang nagparamdam if he really feel sorry on what he did to you.” She told me frankly.
My expression suddenly changed and started thinking the possible reason why does Jeron didn’t even bother to ask my forgiveness, siguro naniniwala siyang tama ang ginawa nilang paglalaro sa damdamin ko.
“It’s not that easy, Ate. Iba kasi ung feeling na nagpaglaruan, I trusted them at yun pala they’re making bet behind my back at ako pa talaga ang naging pulutan nila. If they really are my friends bakit ganun ginawa nila? They should respect me hindi naman ako isang bagay na walang pakiramdam.” I irritated told her.
“Kasi nga mahal ka nila wala sa kanilang dalawa ang marunong mag-give way kasi nga they are men, mataas ang pride ng mga yan. You should be thankful, Maddie. Haba ng hair mo ah! Alam mo bang inggit sayo sobra ang fangirls sa Jeric and Jeron fans club? Tapos ikaw ini-snob mo lang ung dalawa.” Ngaun ko lang napagtantong di marunong mag-advice itong si Jade at sinama pa ang fans club.
“Teka nga! Di ba ito naman ang gusto mo ung lumayo ako sa kanila? Ba’t parang iba na ang ihip ng hangin.” Hinarap ko siya at itinaas niya lang ang dalawang kamay niya.
“That was before, people change and of course decisions also. Kung kelan bati-bati ikaw naman ang nagkaproblema. Magsama kayo ni Papa parehas bitter sa mga Teng!” she laughingly stated while walking away.
“Yung kay Papa nagbi-bitter because of money then yung akin dahil napaglaruan ako. Magkaiba ‘yun!” I calmly said. She turned around to face me as her eyes grew wider and held my shoulder.
“Oh, my gosh! How did you know about that?... yung kay Papa.” She asked in disbelief and like what I always do, I gave her a look guess-what.
“Don’t tell me your memories are already back?” she unbelievable stated and her lips form a thin smile when I nodded.
“That’s fvcking not true!!” Jeron was about to punch again but Jeric dodge it. They are now physically fighting at hindi sila nagpapaawat. I was eyeing them nang bigla sumakit ng todo ang ulo at napahawak ako dito.
I held my head and close my eyes firmly, an angry shouting voice keeps repeating in my head as I feel pain. I look to Jeric who’s now gathering his strength and made his way to hit Jeron but I instantly close my eyes when I heard crying people.
“Stop it!”
“Daddy! Let’s go home!”
“How can you do this to me, Alvin? Were friends but you turned your back on me just on behalf of money?!! Damn you!”
There, I saw two different person..and a crying little girl, she was pulling the hem of shirt as she called his dad. In my realization it was my dad and Tito Alvin having a fight, I am the girl.
“Mommy! Tito Felix and Daddy are fighting!” The boy was in half shock when he just arrive from school and he walk towards me.
“Addi, come here baka masaktan ka.” It’s Jeron, he guided me to other side.
“Totoy! Let them stop!” I told him and cry harder. He just hugs me while our fathers keep fighting.
The maids are panicking also, they keep calling for help. Then suddenly my mom was on her way down stairs with Tita Susan.
“Oh, my gosh! What are you doing?! Felix, stop it!”
“Alvin! Itigil mo na yan, Felix!”
Mom and Tita Susan tried their best to stop him punching Tito Alvin. He was throwing lots of punch to Tito when the guard appeared and four kids entered the house shocked-- Achi Alyssa, Dichi Almira, Jeric and my sister.
“Let me explain, Felix.” Finally they both got separated when everyone stood between them and trying to calm them.
“Hindi na kayo nahiyang dalawa! Sa harap pa ng mga bata kayo nag-away! What are you crazy??!” Mom hysterically shouted holding dad’s arms.
“Clear this mess! What are you two fighting for? Umakyat lang kami saglit ni Madeline then ganito na maabutan namin.” Tita Susan steadily told them. My Dad was just giving a deadly stare to Tito Alvin while catching his breath.
“Our company is now on bankruptcy.” Dad sadly told everybody and takes a sit. He really looks depress. We are eyeing him and sadness is written on his face.
“What? Enlighten us, hon!” Mom worriedly asks.
Kami namang mga bata, we really don’t have any idea of what is happening, we look at each other at nakinig na lang sa mga magulang namin talking about the company that our families both owned.
“It’s my fault…” everyone eyed Tito Alvin who looks himself bad.
“Yes of course it’s yours! Damnit!” Dad irritated said. Galit na galit siya at kung siguro hindi dumating sila Mommy baka napatay niya na si Tito Alvin.
“I trusted everything to Mr. Rodelas, the immense project with the big money that the company had.” Tito Alvin said in stuttering voice.
“Don’t tell me..” nag-aalangang magsalita si Tita Susan.
“Yes. Tinakbo ni Mr. Rodelas ang halos lahat na pera at ang mga investor natin ay pinu-pull out na ang mga pera nila.”
“Dad!” Achi Alyssa ran towards him while crying and she hug her father, sumunod naman sila Jeric at Almira. Naramdaman ko namang hindi umalis si Jeron sa tabi ko at hinigpitan na lang ang hawak sa kamay ko.
“I’m not buying your bullsh*t excuse, Alvin! That fvcking billions at nawala na lang bigla!! Alam ko you already plan this and if I know, kasabwat ka ng Marco Rodelas na iyon!!” Napatayo si Papa at pinigilan naman siya nila Mama at Ate. Tumingin naman sa kanya si Tito Alvin while shaking his head, tila ba hindi makapaniwalang pagdududahan siya ng sarili nyang kaibigan.
“You can have that company! Bayaran mo ang dapat bayaran at huwag ka na ulit magpapakita sa pamilya ko.” Dad half shouted said at hinila na papalabas sila Mama.
“Huwag kang magdesisyon kapag galit ka, Felix.” Kalmang sabi ni Mama habang nagmamatigas itong maglakad.
That company was the only proof para sa chinese parents ni Mama, ito lang ung dahilan kung bakit pumayag na magpakasal si Mama sa isang purong pinoy. Kasi marunong magpalakad ng negosyo si Papa kaya alam ko kung saan nanggagaling ang galit ni Papa hanggang ngaun. Because of money kaya nagkasira ang pamilya namin to the point na nagkalimutan na.

I look at my parent that now are happily smiling talking with Mr. Doctolero, totoo bang masaya sila o balat kayo lang ang mga ngiti nila?
“Oh, tapos ka na, anak?” tumayo naman sa upuan si Mama para lapitan ako. I just nodded and handed the papers to Mr. Doctolero.
“How’s the exam? Madali lang ba?” I gave my dad a nod at tinabihan niya kami ni Mama.
“Alam ko naman na madali lang ang special exam na iyon para kay Maddison. Iba din kasi ang talino ng anak niyo and I’m sure maipapasa niya ito.” Siguro kung sa ibang pagkakataon matutuwa ako sa sinabi ni Mr. Doctolero pero hindi sa ganito.
“Thank you, Sir! We are absolutely proud parents, having a hard working daughter like Maddison.”
I saw how my dad smiled and tama ang desisyon ko na tanggapin ang offer na ito. Masaya ako kasi masaya ang parents ko. Pinaupo kami ni Mr. Doctolero at handa daw siyang sumagot sa mga katanungan namin.
“Si Maddison lang ba ang binigyan ng offer na ganito or may ibang students pa?”
“Well, we actually offered it to 15 outstanding students with different courses but it still depends if they can pass the exam given by the school that they’re going to attend. By the way, the result of the exam will be posted on our online accounts and we will send it to you, Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez. ” Mr. Doctolero explained. Tumingin naman parehas sa akin ang mga magulang ko at nginitian ko lang sila.
“You told us awhile ago na kapag nakapasa si Maddison, tatrabahuhin na lang ung ibang papers for her transferring to BAC, right?” Excitement is evident on my mother’s face.
“Yes. It’s Boston Architectural College. Ganun naman talaga ung proseso sa mga exchange student namin e. Mabilis na iyon after the result maybe a month she can fly to US na as long as you support her financially.”
“We don’t have any problem about money. We’re always going to support our child’s dream even it is cost a lot.”
They continue to talk at nagbibiruan pa sila kung kakayanin ba nilang mahiwalay sa anak nila for how many years. Kung hindi dahil sa landscape architecture na pinasa ko as special assessment to Mr. Doctolero hindi sana ako naging exchange student, kakaiba daw kasi ang ginawa ko kaya napag-usapan ng faculty is bigyan ako ng chance kasi pinabackground check na lang din naman ako at merong matataas na grades.
“They are already here.” Tinago ko agad ang cellphone ko nang mabasa ko ang message. Kakalabas lang namin ng school ko at kakain kami ng dinner.
“Pa, pwede ba sa NBA café na lang kumain? Nagccrave kasi ako sa salad nila.”
“Kahit saan pa basta sa gusto mo, anak.” Kiniss ko na lang ang pisngi ni Papa as my thank you.
Naging madaldal naman si Mama sa byahe kaya hindi namalayan ang trapik, we arrive in exact 7pm, medyo madaming tao talaga sa lugar na ito at habang naghahanap ng parking lot ay tinext ko na siya.
“Saan kayo?” I texted Jeric and he immediately replied.
“In second floor left side.”
I entered first while my parents are busy talking they are just following me, nagtaka sila kung bakit pa ako umakyat samantalang there’s a vacant table sa baba. Hinanap ng mata ko si Jeric and there I saw him easily even though madaming palakad-lakad na tao.
“Are you looking for someone, Jane?” I turn around to face my parents and they are now intently looking at me but I just smile sweetly.
“You told me that you’re going to give me whatever I want after I pass that exam, right?” they both nodded in suspicion. I snaked my arms between them and made our way to them. Alam ko naman kasing papasa ako dun.
“I want this..”
“Jane! Not this, anak! Iba na lang.” napatigil si Papa nung nakita niya kung saan ko sila dinadala. But I am persistent, so, I guided them until we arrive into the table that Tita Susan and Tito Alvin are sitting.
“Madeline!” They are all shocked, my mom gave tita Susan a kissed on her cheeks as well as Tita Susan. Nakatayo kaming lahat ng magsalita ako and I saw how they stare at each other, wala na ung galit and this is right, dapat matagal na silang nagharap-harap.
“Please! Ayusin niyo na po ung problem it’s been a years. Para na lang sa aming mga anak niyo. Let’s forget the past.” I told them and was about to leave.
“Where are you going?”
“Uuwi na ko Papa, inaantok na kasi ako, naubos lahat ng energy ko dahil sa exam na iyon.” I said laughingly. I tried to ease the awkwardness pero mukhang shunga naman ako sa ginawa ko.
“Ako na lang po ang maghahatid kay Maddison, Tito.” Jeric butted but my dad gave him a warning look.
Napangisi na lang ako sa ginawa niya. Kaya hinila ko na lang si Jeric at naglakad palayo sa kanila. Siguro naman maayos na nila iyon, ang tatanda na nila para sa away. Nakalabas na kami at sa hindi ko malamang dahilan sobrang lapad ng ngiti.
“Anong ngini-ngiti mo dyan?” I ask him coldly kaya lang napahalakhak na siya ng tuluyan.
“Hahahaha! Sorry but you can free my hand now.”
Aba talaga namang! Binitawan ko naman agad ang kamay niya. Sht na malagkit kanina ko pa pala hawak ang kamay niya, pahiya na naman abot ko. I walk away then he followed me while walking fast than me.
“Am I forgiven, Madds? I already did what you told me, napapunta ko sila Mommy dito.”
I just rolled my eyes upward. Tumigil ako sa paglalakad at nag-aantay na lamang ng taxi. Sabi ko kasi sa kanya mapapatawad ko lang siya kapag sinunod niya ang mga utos ko and so far masunurin naman siya. Kaya lang meron pa siyang dapat gawin.
“Hindi pa. May isa ka pang gagawin para mapatawad na kita ng tuluyan.” I casually told him and he is listening to me attentively.
“Kapag nakaayos na kayo ni Jeron. So, galingan mo, Teng.” I tap his arms while giving him smile at sakto namang may tumigil na taxi kaya iniwan ko siyang nakatulala.
Well, actually I realized that I overreacted about what happened between the three of us. It’s normal to get mad but dammit it! Ang OA ko naman pala kaya I understand na iniwasan ako ni Jeron after that, he didn’t even bother to contact me until now. He must really think that I was so harsh even though they are the one. Syempre meron pa ring kunting galit pero habang lilipas ang araw saan pa’t mapapatawad ko rin sila totally kahit siguro hindi na sila humingi ng tawad but Jeric’s effort, I too much appreciate it. Kaya nga gusto ko silang magkaayos ni Jeron dahil ako naman ang reason kaya sila nagkaroon ng misunderstanding.

Days have been past and I am always here letting myself get bored in our house, tumataba na nga ako kakain.
“2 days na lang malalaman na ang result! Sana bagsak kang bruha ka! Hahaha!”
I gave Sam a deadly look while she is laughing her ass out loud. We’ve been waiting the special examination result that I took 2 weeks ago. Ganun pala katagal ang result nun. My family and friends lang ang nakakaalam tungkol dun, nakakahiya naman kasing ipagkalat na I am going to study abroad kung wala pa ung result, malay namin bagsak pala ako.
“Are you happy with your life, Samantha?” I asked her mockingly. I heard she’s dating someone we don’t know kasi ayaw niya sabihin sa amin. Simula kasi ng wala ng communication kay Jeron nawala na din ang connection namin sa iba.
“Perfectly happy of course! How about you?” nahiga siya sa kama ko at tinignan lang ako.
“Yes. As long as I see my family and friends are happy, I am happy with it.” I gave her a satisfying smile.
“You seem not, Madds. Hindi naman kasi nakabase sa ibang tao ung happiness mo. Ikaw sa sarili mo you can say that you are happy kung walang pagpapanggap at walang tinatago dyan sa puso mo, yung feeling mo incomplete ka. Like you can do anything you want yung walang iniisip na iba. Ikaw ba ganun?” I suddenly felt my breathing became heavy.
“You are wrong. All of us, we have different perspective in life, if in your opinion you can’t be happy when you feel incomplete well, that’s not me. Tsaka wala akong tinatago at hindi ako nagpapangap na ma-saya. Ganun kasi ako, kung masaya ang mga mahal ko edi ma-saya na ako.” I almost choke trying to convince Samantha that I am happy. She just shook his head and makes her steps towards my direction while smirking.
“Mali ka din, Maddison. Kasi simula’t sa umpisa magaling ka nang pretender, tama na ung pagtatapang-tapangan. Once in for all please…” she stops and slowly gives me a hug. My eyes become misty I really hate having conversation like this.
“Damn you, Samantha!” I half shouted told her as I hug her too.
“Shhhs! As I was saying..stop convincing yourself that you already forget the pain. Pero masakit un yung mapaglaruan at umasa na meron talaga, pinapaniwala mo ung sarili mo na okay ka na kasi mahal mo lang ung nanakit sayo. Hindi ka talaga magiging masaya nun bruha ka puro ka pagtitiis. Nagkausap na ba kayo?” I just shook my head as my answer. Napaiyak na ako ng tuluyan sa mga pinagsasabi ni Sam.
“Tingnan mo na, hindi pa nga pala kayo nag-uusap e. Mahirap magmove on kung walang closure. Gag* talagang Teng un! Bakit pa siya ung minanok ko sayo? Kung alam ko lang na masasaktan ka ng ganito. Does he know that you’re going to study abroad?” I free myself from our hugs and wipe my tears.
“Mala- mang hindi. We haven’t talk to each other nga diba?” pagmamataray ko kay Sam habang nahihirapan magsalita dahil sa hikbi at napatawa na lang ito while helping me wiping the tears in my cheeks.
“Kung sakali man ayoko umalis ka ng ganito, Maddison. Kailangan niyo mag-usap.” She seriously stated and gave me a weak smile.

Third person’s POV
No one will understand him that’s what Jeron told to himself. How can he do that to Addi… to his best friend? It’s too late to realize all the wrong things that he had done, the damaged have been done. He remembered how Maddison slapped him and how she treated them coldly that time. If only he knows that would happen, and after few days malalaman niyang si Maddison at Addi ay iisa. It was when his parents told them na nagkaayos na sila ng dating kaibigan nila and ang mga magulang pala ni Maddison iyon. All this time tamang hinala pala siya na si Maddison at Addi ay iisa, they were actually have the seamless similarity pero pinaniwala niyang hindi pwede.
“Arrg!!” He angrily threw the ball to the trashcan beside him as he pulls his hair hardly and let his eyes close.
He was playing basketball all by himself just to ease the heavy pain and regrets he felt, he always does this. Kaya lagi siya nag-iisa sa court ng village nila para na din makaiwas sa mga tao sa bahay nila. Of course, his family knew what happened kaya nga napagalitan sila pareho ng ahia niya. They are right, both of them ay may kasalanan. Hindi niya kayang harapin si Maddison dahil sa nagawa niya kaya kahit simpleng text hindi niya magawa, kasi sobrang nahihiya siya kasi special sa kanya ang dalaga. At hindi lang ang relasyon nila ni Maddison ang nawala pati na rin sa kuya niya.
He was on the same state when he heard a sound of ball being dribble near him. He was startled as his brother gave him a hand and an ingenuous smile.
“Laro tayo, Shoti.” Jeric told him impishly but before he answers, his brother forcedly dragged him.
“Ang hirap kaya maglaro mag-isa.” Jeric taps his shoulder and pass the ball to him. He suddenly recognized that he was smiling to his brother.
“Tsk! Are you chickening, bro. Huwag ka na mag-alala hindi ko gagalingan para matalo mo ako.” Jeric laughingly said and that’s the cue, Jeron can’t help but to shake his head in disbelief while smiling.
It was indeed Jeric, the talkative and playful Jeric. Parang wala lang nangyari sa kanila his brother acted as if walang gulo between them, Jeric treated him like before. Ganun naman talaga ang kapatid niya, mapagkumbaba at hindi matiisin unlike him.
“Don’t blame me, kuya after this game. If matabunan ko ang pagiging MVP mo.” He teased and his brother simply nodded as they started playing.
They were happily playing for an half of hour like they will never get tired of it, they were just having fun. They have the mutual feeling that’s why the court was full of happy sounds and it’s their voices while they laugh on each other jokes.
“Wo! Okay! I think we need break it’s getting dark. And as I am staring at you I can say that you’re totally exhausted.” Jeric stop when the ball was on his hand and Jeron just agreed. They walk on the side fences of the court and started to dry their dripping body with towel.
“I’m sorry, kuya.” Jeron shyly muttered when Jeric stood up. His brother eyed him and playfully messed his hair.
“I’m sorry too, Jeron. I have my mistakes also.”
“I really don’t have face to show you and Maddison. I’ve been a jerk, it was my entire fault I let my jealousy ate me. Now she hates me more than anyone, hindi ko nga alam kung mapapatawad niya pa ako. How childish am I? We even had a fight at hindi ko inakala un, kuya. I’m really sorry.” He apologetic told to his brother trying to clarify things between them. How sorry he was.
“Shss! Don’t blame it all on you. Ako din may kasalanan hindi ko kasi pinigilan ang sarili ko, I allow myself to fall kahit hindi naman talaga sa akin nahulog ang loob niya. To the point na nagawa na natin siyang saktan pareho. Pinaglaruan natin si Maddison, at alam natin na sobrang na hirapan din siya sa atin.” Jeric gloomily stated.
Jeron felt guiltier after hearing those words on his brother, he knows that very well. Kung hindi lang sana niya pinangunahan ang galit at selos na naramdaman niya walang ganung nangyari, gusto niya lang naman kasing ipakita na may isa siyang salita sa kuya niya kaya niya nagawang layuan si Maddison and he didn’t expect that she will heard about the deal they made from his own mouth.
“I know kuya at nagsisi talaga ako ng sobra. That time when I saw how she threw me her fiery glares, it broke my heart into pieces. I decided to distant from her just not to hurt her feelings again because I know pushing me to her is a bad idea. She’ll hate me again and again. My Addi will never forgive me.” He blandly said and didn’t even understand that he is horrible.
All the pain he kept suddenly burst out even though they said that crying for a girl is gay, the hell Jeron care about it. He is soundlessly crying thinking what would happen next, he really misses Maddison.
“Why don’t you talk to her? You said that she will never forgive you but did you ask her about it? Diba hindi, before you make negative conclusions try to ask her words first. Walang maaayos ang pagmumukmok mo kung hindi ka gumagawa ng paraan. This battle is between your pride and love, bro. Wake up. Asan na yung palaban kung kapatid?” Jeric told him bluntly indeed, vanity is ruining him. His brother made him woke up from his dead world.
“Oo nga naman. Ano inaakala mo si Maddison pa ang unang gagawa ng paraan? Mahiya ka sa balat mo!” his sub-conscious scolded. He thought what if Maddison don’t wanna talk to him? Malaking sampal sa kanya iyon. He is scared of rejection but dammit he will try anything just for her ano man ang kalabasan nito. He’s been a coward for many days at tiniis lang si Maddison. He looked at Jeric that’s now giving him a nod and grinned as if saying that he should do something or else he will make his way too to have Maddison.
“Stop it, kuya. Kakausapin ko na siya.” He playfully punch his brother while keep teasing him.
They made their way home at madami pa silang napag-usapan ng kung anu-ano. Jeric gives him advice and of course hindi mawawalan ng kalokohan ang mga pinagsasabi niya. They arrived in their house happily that made their maid looks surprise when opened the door for them.
“Ay, bati na kayo?” the maid asked wondering.
Both of them just look at each other and laughingly turn their back as they make a steps going in living room. Jeron’s foot glued to the ground when he saw people giggling as if there’s no tomorrow. Jeric have the same expression as well.
“What are they doing here?” his brother murmured. He just shook his head and continued watching the girls that didn’t even felt their presence.
“Oh, my God. You are really funny, Sam.” his sister Almira said holding her stomach while laughing.
“Why are you laughing, Al? It’s not a joke. Nangyari talaga sa amin un ng tunay. Yung mahoholdap na dapat kami then biglang nakaramdam ng tawag ng kalikasan ung holdaper kaya ayun patakbong umalis at sumunod na din ung mga alipores niya.” Sam stated trying to hold her laughter too.
“It’s true. I remember that also, tawa nga kami ng tawa kasi that time takot na takot si Maddison at un pala wala din ung effort nung lalaki. Hahaha!” Alex happily said.
Maddison’s friends are here? The last time Jeron saw them was the same time as Maddison . Baka naman nagkaayayaan lang sila nila Almira, they are school mates, right? He was about to leave when Jeric fake a cough that’s why the girls caught their attention. Jeron see how the happy faces turn to a serious one especially Samantha who’s now walking towards them.
“Long time no see, Jeron. How’ve you been?” Samantha’s voice was full of disgust but she still managed to say it casually.
“Sorry may gagawin pa ako.” He stuttering answered and hurriedly turns his back.
He felt nervous kasi alam niyang susumbatan siya ni Sam. Ayaw niya lang kasing gumawa ng gulo si Sam sa bahay nila lalo pa’t narinig niya ang sasakyan ng mga magulang sa labas ng bahay nila, nakauwi na sila.
“Sam, let him be. Umalis na tayo.” He heard Alex tensely told her friend.
“No. I just want to have words with Jeron.” After hearing that he felt Sam presence behind him and he suddenly stop to face her.
“What do you want?” hindi maiwasang magtaas ng boses.
“Wow. Masyado ka atang hot, Jeron. Sayang lang at ipinagkatiwala ko si Maddison dati hindi ka pala talaga matino. Tsk tsk.” He felt a certain pain on what Samantha told him. He suddenly remembered the efforts that Sam did for him when he asks help about her friend before. So, he decided not to answer, he will take wholeheartedly whatever hurtful words they will throw to him.
“Hija-” Susan paused when her husband stop her interfering.
“Good evening po, tito and tita.” Magalang na pagkakabati niya, Jeron was just looking at her intently.
“Don’t make any scene here, Sam. We should talk this in private.” His brother complained.
“What are you talking about? Meron lang akong sasabihin and this won’t take long. I think everyone deserve should know about it especially you.” She told directly to Jeron.
“But before that I want you to say this and sorry for the word…” Sam took a deep sigh and looking straight to Jeron.
“You’re a wholly asshole, Jeron! How dare you para saktan si Maddison!” she said shouting on Jeron’s face.
“I know. I deserve it.” He thought as he remained silent. Nakatingin na sa kanilang lahat ng tao na nandun sa bahay nila and his family members are all present. Alex was trying to calm her friend.
“Until now nasasaktan siya. Nasasaktan siya kasi pakiramdam niya walang siyang halaga sayo kasi pinaglaruan niyo siya. Nawala na ung dating Maddison namin before kayo pumasok sa eksena.” Sam teary eyes stated. Nakaramdam naman bigla ng bigat ng dibdib si Jeron at hindi maiwasang sisihin ang sarili niya.
“Sana maging fair ka sa kanya, 1 week from now she’ll flying to U.S. The decision is in you, bahala ka kung kakausapin mo siya o ipagpapatuloy mo pa rin ang pagiging duwag mo. She really doesn’t have plans telling you about it when in the first place she accepted to study abroad because she wanted to forget everything happened at kasama ang paglimot sayo nun.” Sam frankly told him and bid her goodbyes to his family as she and Alex left.
“Aalis na lang siya ng ganun?”Jeron ask thought as he felt shame himself.
