Sorry, that's not what I meant. Its just I feel that usually, people with such good grades don't usually go into this type of field, they usually go into a non-art career path.

I almost didn't become a trainee actually

I don't talk about it much but I was actually going to go into mathematics and my family was really pushing me towards that direction during high school
I actually applied to a few colleges before I even audition to be a trainee
I think it was when I got my acceptance letter from SNU that I finally realized that path just wasn't meant for me
During my whole childhood when I wasn't studying I spent my days playing instruments and creating music, my dad is actually a music teacher so I was surrounded by instruments and opportunities
I got so much more out of that than I would get from getting good grades, so I decided I would give it shot since music is something I love
And now here I am

Wow, that's quite a tale. How did your parents react to all of that since they wanted you to study in mathematics?
Eh it took a while for them to accept what I chose, but ever since our debut and since I'm also still getting a degree in that field they've had a little bit more faith and trust in me

You're still getting a degree in mathematics? Not one related to music?
Yeah I know may seem a little because most people usually go into broadcasting or something similar, I mean all of my friends are majoring in that but I still love that field and I can't just abandon that love

No, no you're good. I don't think mines as interesting as yours though, but since you want to know.
I always loved music I guess, especially rap, and loved writing my own lyrics. Whenever I was free that's what I would be doing, I even joined the underground rapping scene. So when I had a chance I auditioned to be a trainee, and luckily I got in and was given a chance to do what I love.
Thanks for telling me Min :). And in all honesty it's a nice story, I find it very admirable when people can figure out their set dream and go right for it not even thinking of anything else
