I parked my bike and walked up to the door followed by Amy and mike, I know that mike doesn’t really know our parents but he loves them as family too, the fact that his next to us through this helped a lot
Amy walked up to me and held my hand, I don’t know if it’s for support for her or me, but I gladly took her hand in mine and gave her a small squeeze
I let out a big breath of air trying to calm my fast beating heart, then I proceeded to lifted my shaky hand to knock on the door
a few seconds later the door opened to reveal my brother Aiden, he looked a mess his hair is everywhere his eyes puffy and his nose is red, meaning his been crying, so its worst than I thought, he looked at me with a weird face
"Can I help you?" I almost laughed when he said that but I couldn’t laugh I didn’t have it in me to laugh, it’s like all the joy in my body left
"Its me Aiden" his face turned into shock, he took me into a huge holding me like I would just disappear any second
"Oh I missed you so much kira" I hugged him back feeling the tears wanting to come out but held them back
He pulled out of the hug and saw Amy and he gave her a hug saying the same thing to her then he turned to mike and gave him a man hug
My family has grown to like mike after they found out that his Amy’s mate and he has grown to trust them and love them too, then my brother looked at me
"So I guess you heard about mom and dad?" I looked at him confused
"What’s wrong with mom?" he looks at me confused
"You didn’t know about mom?" he asked
My heart sank to the bottom; it broke all over again,
“No not mom too” I said not believing it
I heard her unsteady breathing upstairs and I shoved Aiden to the side and ran in my werewolf speed upstairs
I stopped in front of the door to her bedroom not knowing what to do I slowly lifted my hand feeling 10x heavier
I slowly turned the knob to open the door then I saw her laying on the bed with a lot of blood around her and an oxygen tank beside her bed and an oxygen mask on her face and she was sweating like crazy I saw my brothers mates tending to her
"who are you?" asked Liz then I tore my gaze off my mother and looked at her I didn’t say anything because I couldn’t move any muscle in my body, only my tears were moving
"Kira?" she ran over to hug me
She hugged me tight as Aiden did, I felt my arms move to hug her too, it went to eve then my brother Chris walked in looking at us hugging he came to give me a hug too
Nevertheless, when he hugged me I buried my face in his chest and let all the tears out, he hugged me tighter kissing the top of my head as I let all the tears of pain out
I stopped sobbing after a few minutes, but I can still feel tears run down my face I slowly got out of his hold and he held my shoulder
"Are you ok?" I nod a little
I heard someone crying I turned around to see Amy doing the same thing I did in mikes arms turned around to look at my mother laying on the bed asleep, I slowly walked over to her and held her hand
"Mom...I’m here," I said but she did not open her eyes she just laid there in pain, it showed in her face that she was in pain
"I’m sorry," I said then I start sobbing they all left the room so it was just me and my mom
I sobbed for a few minutes before I heard her call my name I looked up to her face and she had open her eyes looking at me the joy I felt was unexplainable
"Mom!" I said excited and she smiled
"Kira!"
"Oh mom I missed you so much," I said giving her a hug and she grunted
"I thought you’re healed! Why isn’t your wolf healing you?" she looks at me sadden
"Because she is dead, she died along with your father," she said with tears in her eyes
"Why? What happened?" I asked getting confused
"We choose to be with your father so she left with his wolf to tell your father to come get me" I looked at her shaking my head
"You can’t leave me...you can’t leave us" I cried even harder, she smiled still having tears in her eyes
"you will be fine, you have brothers who will look after you, you have a sister who will stand by you, and you have a mate who will do right by you, you have everything you need here it is time me and your father to have peace" she said
I sobbed not wanting to let her go but I understood what she said it is time we grow up on our own and not keep depending on our parents
"Its hard mom" I said she held my face in her hand
"I know it is, and there are a lot more challenges that are hard but there is one thing that you have that I know you will make it"
"And what would that be?" I asked still sobbing
"My heart and your father’s bravery" she smiled
"you are stronger than you think you are I know you will morn but I know you going to get through and live life to the fullest you are of course my daughter" she laughed but she stopped and groan
"I love you mom" she looks at me with tears in her eyes
"I love you too my daughter, take care of them for me wills you?" I nod
"Good" she said and looked up to the ceiling
"It is time" she said I started crying
"Don’t shed no tears for me my daughter, but be happy that I am in peace" she said
"Tell them I love them all and I will always be watching over you" I felt the tears running uncontrollably down my cheeks
"Be strong," she said then she gave me one last smile
“I love you” then she closed her eyes
I cried uncontrollably I felt arms around me and the familiar shocks ran through my body slowly calming me down
I know who it was but didn’t care if he was holding me or not his arms and body gave me comfort so I turned around to his chest and cried until I pass out, the last thing I thought about before I passed out was I will get my revenge.
I woke up to someone calling my name and gently shaking me I slowly open my eyes to see that I was in my old room
Then I heard my name called again and I looked down to see silo squatting beside my bed with a bowl of soup
"Kira wake up and eat some of this," he said so softly
"What are you doing here?" I asked my voice sound hoarse
"Your brother called me" I looked at him for a second and slowly got up and put my back and head on, the head board on my bed and folded my legs so I was holding them with my head between it
"Are you ok?" he asked then I felt the bed shift
"Don’t touch me," I said and he sighed
"You let me hold you in there and now you won’t let me hold you now?" he asked a little annoyed
"Yes" was all I said
He did not say anything but still sat there with me, even though I hate him and do not want him to touch me his presence was comforting, we sat in silence for a few minutes then I asked him what my mother did not answer
"What happened?" he was quiet for a second before he answered
"Well I rejected you, marked another wolf, I almost killed you, you left with the elders an-" I hit the back of his head glaring at him
"Not to us you moron, what happened to my parents" I said still glaring at him and he rubbed the back of his head
"Geez woman, cant you take a joke?" by then my blood was boiling
"Joke? My parents died!" I said getting angry
"Ok ok calmed down" he said I took a deep breath and put my head on my knees
"I don’t really know what happened all I know was them saying they found rogues in our territory, they said their about a dozen of them and they're going to try to take them down and wait for backup” he looked away from me
“Of course when they said they found rogues we immediately sent out guards but when they reached them it was too late” he got up from the bed and walked towards the window looking outside
“Your father was already dead and your mother still hanging on, they brought her back to the pack doctor but he said that he can’t help her cause she refuse to be helped” he let out a breath and turned to me
“So your brothers took her to the house to spend time with her and that's when I called the elders to inform them about your parents" he looked at me with the saddest eyes, I feeling tears in my eyes fall
'Where are you guys?' I asked through our mind link they all said they were in the living room I told them to come up
"You may leave," I said to silo and he looked at me
"What?"
"I have to talk to my pack alone" he was going to say something when they showed up he got up and left while they pile up in my room Amy closed the door and sat beside me
"You didn’t tell me about my mother," I said to john and he looks at me
"We tried but you bolted out so fast we didn’t get a chance to tell you"
"Couldn’t you mind link me?"
"Again we tried but you blocked us after we told you we're behind you" I sighed
"I’m sorry, it’s just so much has happened in one day and it’s hard to take it all in," I said and they nod giving me a hug
"We will get through this...I promise" said Vern
"We are a family, and we will get through it together," said john I nod
"Make me a promise," I said and they all looked at me
"Don’t stop me when it’s time to avenge my parent’s death" they looked at me for a while
"We won’t stop you, we will join you" said Philip and I smiled
"Promise?" I asked and they all nod I nod and made myself comfortable with my dad’s and sister and her mate around me I fell asleep with one thing in my mind
