Well, Aaron's still not talking to me, the stubborn bitch! I honestly thought he'd be over his little hissy fit by now.
Because I haven't had to work my notice at the salon, I've been able to start my new job earlier than planned. And despite my first-day nerves I seem to have settled in surprisingly well; everyone's really nice, well, except for Laura who works as some sort of secretary. I don't think she likes me very much; I don't know why though I've never been anything other than friendly to her. In the beginning, I made a point of asking her if she wanted a cup of tea whenever I made one for myself, and I even let her share some of my Party Rings and Jaffa Cakes when she came into work all upset because her boyfriend dumped her.
I mean I knew all about getting dumped, how it felt and some tried and tested methods of getting over the bastard that had dumped you, so she should've been nice to me. I could've helped her out, but anyway as it was she didn't want my help or my friendship the only thing she wanted was my biscuits, the cheeky cow.
Valentine's Day, ugh!
This is the first time I've been single on Valentines Day in sooo long. If Aaron was talking to me I'd ask him if he wanted to go on a mate date, cinema and Nando's. This is the longest that we haven't spoken for. God, I miss him.
Okay, so I gave in, I called Aaron last night and practically begged him to forgive me for leaving him and the salon. I told him that I couldn't stand the thought of him hating me. He told me to stop being such an idiot, that just because we had a minor disagreement it doesn't mean that he hates me.
Everything is right with the world, I met Aaron for drinks last night - he asked me to go watch Beyoncé with him, that's how I knew he'd forgiven me, he wouldn't ask just anyone to go to Queen Bey with him.
God, I hate my job. Like, I really hate it, a lot. Now me and Aaron are speaking again I've thought about going and asking him if I could have my old job back, but that would mean admitting that I was wrong. This new beginning and fresh start thing is nothing like I imagined it would be. But people are probably expecting that, even if they don't say it. At least one person will be waiting for me to say that I give up and I guess that's the reason I'm trying to stick it out, my mum always said that I was stubborn.
