I wasnt ready!! I tried to get back in my mojo when i grabbed him after a few dodge rolls.
Unfortunately he broke through my grab and got me up in the air. Worst mistake a smash gamer could make. Dont ever get above your opponent.
He knocked me off of the stage. First life gone

I used a few kicks to my advantage and used my side grab attack like 3 times. He was knocked off of the stage by then
I dodgerolled like crazy. What was i doing?! Im no defense type!
He eventually grabbed me and knocked me into the air. Again.
And boom. There i went blasting off again.
I bared my teeth. I had to win this!
I used my special a few times in a combo with my attack.
I grabbed him but accidentally let go.
He got a clear chance to attack me by then. My damage was at 140%
It just spiraled up from that point.
"Need a biit of my luck now hm??" He said just before knocking me off of the stage.

"Ma'am other contestants are still battling. Im gonna have to ask you to lower your voice" a coordinator stated to me.
Sollux looked at me with an impish grin
I clenched my teeth even harder before looking away. There goes my pride.
I was eventually able to calm myself down with a bit of reasoning.
The buzzer buzzed and i left the room.
I walked past the waiting station when Sollux grabbed my wrist.
"(Y/n) waiit! Where are you goiing??" He asked curiously
"To withdraw from the competition. Theres no more point in my being here anyway." I said leaning against a wall.
"What make2 you thiink that?" He asked
"You seriously forgot your own end of the deal?" I said with a somewhat monotone voice
"What? W-waiit II diidnt thiink you would want to go on a date today" he said confused.
"I mean what better time to go. Unless you want to stay here and probably win. I wouldnt stop you." I said truthfully

I stopped, completely speechless.
I looked down at my feet for a moment as my face heated slightly.
"Can we just go? I dont care where I just dont wanna be here anymore." I said quietly

I looked up at him somewhat confused, there was a soft...caring grin on his face.
"Okay" he said in a nice tone
Oh goddddd here are the feelings again.
I blushed harder and looked back to my feet as we walked toward the sign in/out area and we both withdrew, then leaving the building.
It was still light outside, almost sunset though.
The air was cool as it hit my face, but not cold. It felt nice, nice enough to make me stop blushing so much.
Neither of us owned a car, so we walked. We walked slowly, silently.
"IIm gonna mii22 day2 liike thii2 2omeday..." he said quietly, in fact so softly that it hadn't broken the calmness of our silence.

I looked at him angrily before turning away, i knew i couldnt argue that. "Whatever" I said.
There was more silence for a while, until i noticed...i wasnt really sure where we were

"Diid you even pay attentiion two where KK wa2 goiing on the niight of the party? We are goiing two my hou2e" Sollux said
My eyes widened slightly, "what?! Why??" I asked worriedly

I kinda wondered what was up with his brother to be honest. I thought the dude was his older brother anyway soo...

See uhh....he kinda got drunk and kissed a whole FEFERI PEIXES at that damned party. But it doesnt matter, ill just go and have war flashbacks and regret my life choices

My heart stung for a moment as tears began to well up in my eyes.
"MIITUNA II TOLD YOU 2TOP LEAVIING YOUR 2KATEBOARD IIN THE DRIIVEWAY!" Sollux yelled
I hurriedly wiped my tears as Sollux turned around to face me, he was about to speak before he noticed me wiping my eyes
"You okay?" He asked with concern
"What? Y-yeah im fine theres just uhh something in my eye" I lied
"Oh, haha 2orry about that. We havent dusted iin here iin a whiile" he said buying my lie

"2oo um..." Sollux started but was soon interrupted as his brother crashed down the stairs on his skateboard

I stayed quiet, very aware of the shade I threw
"II can 2ay wiith ab2olute certaiinty that II have zero romantiic feeliing2 for Feferi. II cant 2ay iif 2he doe2 wiith me, but...there2 only one person my heart2 been crazy about" Sollux said, then staring deep into my eyes with nothing more than a pure romantic look.
I could almost feel my pupils dilate as my eyes widened a bit
I noticed our faces growing closer to each other, my heart beat escalating...I could feel the moment beginning
However, before we could even get to that cliché moment where our lips almost meet, Mituna came marching down the stairs with a pretty killer helmet on his head
"1V3 G0T 17! MY H3LM37, L00K 4T MY H3LM37!!" He said, then taking it off and handing it to me
"Yeah man, its pretty sweet. Gotta get me one of these" I said with a grin.
I felt the atmosphere of the room shift from emotional to awkward deep
"Y0U B3773R B17CH, C4U23 Y4 C4N7 H4V3 M1N3 H4H4H4H!!" Mituna said, then putting on his helmet and taking Solluxs skateboard again and ramming it into some things.
I laughed, so did Sollux
The mood lightened before I spoke
"He's fun." I said, repeating what I said about him before
"I2n't he?" Sollux grinned
