CHAPTER 1
It's my first time here and I'm getting this weird feeling because I'm so far from home
I've been here before at a very young age but with my brother Adam, I don't remember much but I do remember people mistaking me for Adam, after all, we were twins and the fact that puberty didn't hit and I basically looked like a boy didn't help
"Ahh the good old days" I whispered to myself
not realizing I said it out loud
"What was that hun" mom said
"Oh nothing Mom" I said
"Aisha we are almost at our new home" mom said looking so excited
"I know'' I said smiling
Being here reminded me of someone really special to me,
I remembered I haven't seen Rahma for a long time
"Mom can I go to Rahma's house for the night" I wanted to spend time with Rahma if possible today
"After you help me unpack, " she says smiling
" it's Friday you should go with Rahma'' mom said looking around still taking in the house
"Ok I've been dying to see Rahma so I'll text her to pick me up", I say
I don't remember any of the places or roads here obviously
So I texted the only person I know living in this city
Aisha- Rahma pick me up for friday prayer
Rahma- Ok where are you
Aisha- Just got home
Rahma- Be there in twenty minutes send me the address and get ready
Aisha- Ok thanks, you're the best
After texting her I walk back to mom
I saw her walking towards the door as she got in she stopped looking around the room in admiration
"This place is amazing, " mom says still in shock
man I didn't know we could live in such luxury
"I know I wonder how life will be like living her," I say thinking about all the friends, boys, and parties I'll have here
-- just kidding for that to happen I would need friends
"It will be amazing I'm glad you like it here" mom replies smiling
"Me too oh and mom when will Adam get here" I ask
"Soon, he called and said he has something important to tell us" she says
"Aisha go your gonna be late for prayer, come home by 11:00 I know you want to chat with Rahma so just go to the mall" she says
"Thanks Mom" I say while hugging her
"Hurry you don't wanna be late'' she says hurrying me
"Ok, so first I'll shower, where's my room?" I had to ask
I mean I legit just moved in
"Last room to the right" she says
"Thanks mom'' I yell running to my room
I saw the door to my room and I walked in
"Dude I'm never leaving this room" I whisper to myself as I got in
my room is huge with three doors.
I can't wait to find out where they lead
I go into each and it turns out I have my own bathroom indoor gym and last but not least my book room this is heaven bro
The sleeping area came With its own flat screen tv and a huge bookshelf which turned out to be full of every genre I could think of
I started to get ready and after I showered I sat on my bed and read a little after I finished I went to my bag and took out my personal things and then I started getting ready by putting on a grey shirt along with black sweat pants and put on my mascara and lip gloss after I finished I heard a loud beeping then I ran right down
I walked out the door after giving mom a good bye hug and letting her know I was leaving. I walked to the exit door
When I opened the I saw a van waiting for me I see Rahma and hug her well trying to get in the passenger seat
I had this feeling it wasn't only us in the car so I tried to look back but then it hit me Rahma looks so damn different she is so gorgeous now not that she wasn't before but damn she just got this glow today
"How have you been," I say sounding a bit too squeaky for my liking
"I've been great Aisha" she replies smiling
"Dude you look gorgeous," I said
surprised at how my best friend has changed over the years
"so do you" she said giggling at what I'm guessing to be my English accent
"Funny, yea right, I wish I was you, you don't have to work out or do anything and you eat like crazy but never gain any weight you know my bum is just getting bigger and bigger by the day" I said pouting at her pointing to my supposedly huge ass
"Not a good time to talk about this "she said tilting her head to the back seat behind us and oh my god my life is over I'm gonna pass out this is so embarrassing, did I really just talk about oh my god I hope that's not her husband
"That's Abdullah my brother in law he needed a ride to the mosque since his brother whos my husband took his '' she says
"Oh" was all I could say this is so embarrassing I wish I could disappear right now
Then I turned around and took a glance at him I couldn't help it I regret looking at him because now he's giving me a smirk saying I know you just checked me out, I guess he caught me
Then he smiled, oh his smile was gorgeous
The rest of the ride was quiet except when he was greeting us in the beginning. When we finally arrived Abdullah got out first and he opened the door for the both of us what gentlemen.
I gotta stop thinking about him
"Aisha come this is the women's side, for a second there I thought you were checking my in law out" Rahma says chuckling to herself in an of course not tone
she knows I was never one for crushes or love, in general, all I care for is school, my parents and my friend's
life was just that simple for me
"No I wasn't checking anyone out" I say
that was half the truth I mean I didn't do it intentionally so it doesn't count

My conscience added sarcastically
" yeah right you were practically drooling over him while we were in the car I thought you were about to jump him right there" she still continues to joke with herself and laugh
How is this even funny?
Oh I see I cant have a romantic interest, just because I've never been interested before doesn't mean I wont ever be interested
After came out and as we were about to get into the car Rahma asked me a question I really did not want to hear right now
"Why aren't you married yet I mean you're not gonna get any younger and I know your motto is education family and friends but don't you want kids '' she says practically whining
First off I dont care what age I am I will never rush myself If I'm not genuinly into the person and second thing I could just adopt
but was scared me was that my mind was already giving me ideas and I may already have someone in mind for the first time
The funny thing is I never thought I'd be interested in anyone for a long time
I'm interested in a guy but I'm not telling anyone I don't know why I'm breaking down my walls for a guy I don't even know yet
I dont need any drama so I decided to hope this feeling goes away soon
