3RD POV
It was the day of the elections. Gjallerhorn forces were persistent on keeping Tekkadan from entering the city. They were able to push them back some, but not enough to get through the blockade.
Everyone was constantly working and it seemed as if they could never catch a break. (YN) drove a mobile worker into the base. She quickly got out the vehicle while pulling out an injured boy.
"Take him to Merribit quickly"
"Right" Kudelia grabbed the injured boy from (YN)'s hands before handing him off to Merribit to tend to his wounds.
"You still can't get through, considering the elections begin this afternoon? You have six hour until the deadline. Perhaps it was too much of a burden"
"If you don't mind I prefer if you did not speak that way in the presence because they're fighting for us" Kudelia says
"Yeah Makanai, the guys are putting a lot on the line and for you to talk like that is just disrespectful" (YN) adds
"I have no doubt that they'll make it to their destination but I'm worried about how much blood they'll spill getting there" Makanai says as he walks off.
"He can be so annoying sometimes" (YN) tiredly shook her head
"You should take a break, you've been fighting nonstop" Kudelia placed a hand on (YN)'s shoulder
"Everyone is working so hard to get you to your goal. I can't stop now, especially with our numbers dropping by the day" However Kudelia still held a bit of doubt in her eyes
"I'll be okay Kudelia" (YN) reassured the girl
TIMESKIP
After the most recent scrimmage with Gjallerhorn, Tekkadan we're finally able to catch a little break. Kudelia helped (YN) as she refueled some of the mobile workers.
"How are things coming" Orga approached the two girls
"Not that good. We're running really low on ammunition, and a lot of the guys are either injured or exhausted" (YN) sighed "What's the plan once we get into the city"
"Even after we enter the city there's still quite a ways to Parliament Hall" Kudelia says
"We're on a time crunch. If we took a mobile worker, we'd get there a lot quicker wouldn't we?" (YN) asked
"Yeah, but only so many people can fit in a mobile worker" Orga says
"The people probably wouldn't be so happy about a mobile worker in the city either. We can't have the public's view on Makanai going down" Kudelia added
"Why is this so hard"

Eventually, Kudelia went to go help Merribit in their makeshift medical ward, leaving the couple alone.
"You okay, you seem a little off" He looked at the (HC) girl am with an exhausted expression
"I know that was stupid question to ask" she scratched the back of her head. "Look, I know things aren't going as planned, but you gotta keep your head up"
"I don't know if I'm making the right decisions. We're low on supplies and there's so many wounded. I even agreed to let Ride fight on the front lines"
"I know you're a bit exhausted, we all are, and I know our options are limited. You're trying you best to get everyone to their goal, and I know you'll get us there. You've got to be confident in yourself" she ended her spiel by pecking his cheek. Orga thought for a moment
"This is our last chance, our last stance. We have to give it our all.
"I'm with you wherever you go Orga"
Orga gathered all the boys who weren't injured, which wasn't a lot. He told them how this would be their last operation
"The rest of you will be decoys to draw out Gjallerhorn so we can get into the city. I know it sounds risky but if we're gonna pull this off, then we have to do everything we can to win. If you don't agree with the plan, no ones stopping you from going with Merribit and the wounded. But if you'll join me in this, take whatever you have left in you and bet it all on Tekkadan. For the fate of Tekkadan itself risk everything you got"
TIMESKIP
Orga and Takaki sat in their mobile worker hidden the trees. While (YN) sat in a truck Atra, Kudelia, and Makanai. The plan was to cross the shallow river as the Gjallerhorn troops were distracted.
"They're gathering on the bridge, this is our chance to cross" Orga
"You really think we'll be able to make it now?" (YN) said through the headset given to her.
"Our teams fire power is still to weak, they won't last by the time we cross the river" Takaki says
"Get ready to move"
Just as they were about to cross, several missiles hit the Gjallerhorn troops. Soon enough, several mobile workers began attack Gjallerhorn troops.
"Hey Orga, your hero has arrived"
"Is that Eugene, when did he get here?"
"We'll take care of everything here" Eugene said
With that, the group were able to cross the river and get into the city. The group of teens drove through the city as quickly as they could to get Makanai to the election.
Halfway to their destination, their communication was cut off from those back on the base. The billboards and traffic lights began to malfunction as well.
"What's going on with the street light" Atra points out
"The lights wouldn't be cutting off like that unless there was mobile suit in the city" Orga says
"Gjallerhorn would really go so far as to bring mobile suits into the city" Kudelia says
They were almost to the Parliament hall when two Mobile suits stopped right in front of their vehicle. The impact of the suits on the street flipped the truck over completely.
(YN) POV
My head is killing me. I slowly opened my eyes to see myself upside down in the truck. Looking out the window, I saw Mikazuki's mobile suit fighting a giant mobile suit. On the other side of me, I saw Orga helping Makani out the truck
"Don't worry (YN), I'll get you out soon enough" He said just as he got Makanai out.
Suddenly I felt the vehicle shift. I realized the truck was being picked up by the other Mobile Suit. I could hear the cries from everyone else I was lifted higher in air.
"What the hell is going on" I say to myself
"I hope you had your fun, but it time for you to come home" I knew that voice anywhere
"Father, why are you here" I asked calmly, but on the inside I was fuming
"Father!?!?" I heard everyone on the ground shout. I can't believe I still had my headset on after all that.
"I'd love to stay and see how this family drama plays out but the elections will be starting soon" I could hear Makanai say
"But we have to find a way to get (YN) down" Takaki said
"We can't just leave her there" Atra adds
"Guys just go without me, I'll be okay" I say
"We're not leaving you here" Orga argued
"Orga, our job is to get Makanai to the elections. It'll be quicker for everyone if I just do this, trust me alright" Orga looked at the girl, clearly not wanting to be separated at a time like this.
"Fine" I watched from above as everyone pilled onto the mobile worker and headed towards the elections.
"I can't believe my own daughter would stoop so low and surround herself with those space rats"
"Are you insane, where did you get a mobile suit and why would you bring it into the city. I can't believe you're so inconsiderate-"
"THATS ENOUGH!" He cut me off "I WONT TAKE ANY MORE DISRESPECT FROM YOU. YOU ARE COMING HOME AND THATS FINAL"
"And what if I don't want to" I said stubbornly
"Then I'll make sure your friends never work again. That Tekkadan company will crumble and your little friends will be out of work"
Oh fuck me gently with a chainsaw
"So if I go with you, you'll really leave them alone"
"Of course, why would I lie to you"
"Do you really want an answer because I have several"
TIMESKIP
"I can't believe my own daughter would do something like this"
"I get it. I'm a disappointment, you hate Tekkadan. Can I please go to my room now" It took no time for my dad to bring me back home. Since then, I've been sitting in his office, listening to him berate me.
"Don't take that tone with me young lady" he slammed his fist onto the table
"Honey calm down. She just got home, let her relax"
"Fine, you can leave" he pouts before turning around in his chair
"I'm so happy you're safe" my mom kissed my forehead before I walked back to my room.
