August POV
Vegas was suiting us well. We were living our best life with no drama and no rules. That shit was good. We were at the restaurant but after we eat we were going to explore more.
" What y'all think about the other night ". I asked.
" Crazy Man ". Rob said.
" The best night in my life as of right now ". Jay said throwing his hands up.
" My nap was amazing ". Wayne said.
" Man get out of here ". I laughed.
Than I got a text from Chris. Chris was like a brother to me he go way back.

I closed my phone because I saw him walk in. I dapped him up.
" What's up bro ". I say.
" What's up ". He said sitting down.
" These my friends from back home ".
" This Wayne Rob And Jay ". I added.
" What's up ". Chris said.
" How long y'all been here ". Chris asked.
" Almost a week ". I said.
" Oh shit when y'all leaving ". He asked.
" Probably this weekend ".
" Oh shit than we got time ". Chris said.
" Aye Carmen calling me ". Rob said.
" Don't answer it ". I say.
" They tryna ruin our fun ". Jay said.
Rob answered it was a FaceTime call so everyone heard and saw Carmen.
" What's up ". Rob said.
" Where y'all at ". She asked.
She sound scared and like she's been crying.
" We still in Vegas why what's up ". I said.
" It's Oakley.......". Carmen say.
We couldn't hear what she was saying because she was crying.
" Yo calm down what happened to her ". I asked.
" Come home ". She said before hanging up.
" What the fuck ". Jay said.
" How we supposed to get home and we gone have a flight ". Wayne said.
" I have a private jet y'all can leave now ". Chris said.
" Man Thanks ". I said.
" Anything ".

Carmen POV
I was beside Oakley holding her hand. There was no energy in the room all you could feel was sadness. Her mom and sister was crying. Lisa was just sobbing. It's sad to know she's been in that house with a broken bones for almost a week.
" My baby ". Her mom say.
" How could he do this to her ". Lisa say rubbing her stomach.
I looked at that girl Myra. She's the one that called the police. What made me mad was she knew Oakley was in a bad condition and it took her a week to call somebody. She can't breathe for herself a machines breathing for her.
" Oakley ". I say knowing cant communicate.

Oakley hasn't moved but she is now breathing on her own so that's good news.
August POV
We were back and we were at the hospital. I was kinda nervous I didn't want to see what I was about to see. Carmen texted us the room number so we went straight there.
When we got there I was hesitant to open the door I didn't want to see anything bad.
" August open the door ". Jay say.
I opened the door my heart stopped a little. She looked horrible her face was swollen. She had stuff plugged into her. She looked dead. I couldn't help myself I felt tears come down my face.
" What happened to her ". I asked.
" Nothing she was in a bad fight ". Her mom say rubbing my back.
I couldn't see her like this I wanted to leave but I knew I couldn't leave. Her family needs me.
" Who did this ". Rob asked.
" Nobody ". Lisa say.
I looked at the Myra girl she was crying and holding her stomach.
" We'll be back ". I said.
We left and I wiped my face.
" I think I know who did this ". I say.
" Who ". Chris asked.
" Josh ". I said.
" Who's That ". He asked.
" Her boyfriend ". I said.
" He a bitch ". Rob said.
" Whatever up ya sleeve I'm down ". Wayne said.
" Fasho ". Jay say.
Lisa POV
It was quiet in the room but you could feel the sadness among everyone.
" I'm sorry ". Myra said to everyone.
We all just looked at her. I heard a mumble I looked at Oakley and it was her. Her voice was so soft like she couldn't get any louder. She opened her eyes and looked around. She tried moving but her mom held her down.
" Oakley ". Her mom said.
" What happened ". Oakley asked.
" You don't know what happened ". I asked.
" No ". She say.
" Josh ". I said.
".........He's a bitch ". She said.
" Yeah ".
" I'm hungry ". She added.
She was herself for sure.
" Aren't we all ". Ocean said.
" I thought I heard August ". I said
" Yeah you did but he left ".
" Why ".
" I don't know ". I say.
Oakley smiled and she looked at Myra.
" Hey Myra ".
" I'm sorry Oakley ". She said crying.
" It's ok ".

Oakley POV
Everyone left because I wanted some rest and they wouldn't give me food they were giving me soup. I feel a little better but I still hurt no cap. The door opened and it was August with a bear and some flowers.
" What's up ". He said.
" Hey ".
He sat beside me and looked at me.
" It's hard to look at you like this ". He said.
" It's fine ". I said smiling.
" Yeah I guess ".
" This shouldn't have happened to you ". He say.
" August I'm fine ". I say.
His eyes started to water. Than tears started coming out.
" I should've been here if I was here this wouldn't had happen.......Why did I leave you if I stayed you wouldn't had met him ". He cried.
I touched his face and wiped his tears.
" August it's ok ". I say.
" This is my fault you were my best friend I should have protected you ". He said.
" August this happened on god terms things happen for a reason but you can still protect me ".
" I love you ". He say.
" I love you too ".
