We arrived in the next state. On Johnny's birthday. I had wrapped his presents once he went to bed.
We waited on the couches for him to wake up.
"It's nearly ten am. He needs to wake up." Annie says.
"Yeah. I vote Evie to do it." Hayden says.
"Oh shush." I say.
"I'll do it." Alabama says. "Sure He would want to see something prettier than Evie first thing in his birthday."
"I really think Evie should do it." Seb says pulling me up and pushing me through the door.
Not gonna lie, her comment hurt a little.
I go to Johnnys bunk and pull his curtain back.
I climb in with him and kiss his cheek.
"Morning." I smile.
"Morning." He says wrapping his arms around me.
"Happy birthday." I smile.
"Oh yeah. Thanks." He says.
"Well you have to get up." I say trying to move from his grip.
He looks at me.
I peck his lips.
"Look there. Now get your lazy ass out of bed." I laugh.
He smiles and gets out of bed.
I throw him a hoodie.
"What's wrong with this." He says pointing to his bare chest.
"Just put the hoodie on." I say pushing it into him.
He laughs and slides on the hoodie.
I then open the door and everyone is waiting out there.
"Happy birthday!" All of us cheer.
"Thanks guys." He says as I put a Burger King crown on him, the burger scribbled out to day birthday.
"Budget cuts." Nadia pats him on the back.
"Oh happy birthday J!" Alabama wraps his arms around him.
Not even his family call him J.
We sit down on the couch and he goes through his presents.
"Okay. Everyone has to explain their presents, cause I know Hayden got some random stuff." Ruby says.
"Nahhhh. This is gonna be so awkward." I say.
"So um I got you this SnapBack because, it looked like your dog." Ruby says.
Everyone laughs because it was so random.
"Okay I'm first!" Alabama says.
She gets him a Bluetooth waterproof speaker and converse, which were actually pretty nice.
"So. I got you the hoodie because your always complaining it's cold in England so." I say.
"Why is he gonna need it. Not like he's gonna visit you anytime soon." Alabama says.
I bite my tongue. Not in his birthday.
"I also got you my merch because, who doesn't want my name all over them. Also I got you the necklace because." I say pulling out my e necklace to match his j one.
"Thanks." He says hugging me.
Jayden goes next and she gets him a SnapBack.
"So I got you this SnapBack because it. Looked like your dog." She says.
"Copyright!" Ruby exclaims.
Everyone else gives their presents and then we go out for breakfast.
"I think we should tell them." Johnny whispers to me.
"I don't want to take away from your birthday." I say.
"It won't." He says.
I pout.
"After your birthday we can." I say.

I send our conversation to the groupchat.

Everyone turns to look at him.
"What. I thought we were speaking French." He says.

Nadia, Ruby, Annie, Jayden and Hayden look down.

"Mi cumpleanos es veintenueve de Novembre." Jayden says.

"What does that mean?" Alabama asks.
"Is it. I went to the library and my name is Evie?" Seb asks.
"Close. It's I went to the shops and my name is Evie." I say.
We then spent the next hour speaking in different languages we picked up. It was simple sentences.
After we all decided to have naps since we went to bed so late last night.
I then felt extra body heat.
"Yes John." I smile.
He wraps his arms around me and we both fall asleep.

Its nearly the end of the show and we have a suprise to John.
"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you. Happy birthday dear John. Happy birthday to you." We get everyone to sing while Dale brings out a cake.
Johnny blushes and laughs.
He blows out the candles and we shove the cake into his face.
"Hey. Why you laughing." He says as I try to catch my breath.
He wraps an arm around me and smears cake into my face.
"John!" I squeal as it drips off my face.
I chase Lauren off the stage and I get handed a towel.
