Lucy POV
We continued walking down the town talking. We've laughed, we've cried of laughter,we looked crazy. Natsu was telling me crazy stories from when he'd train when he was younger. I stared into his eyes, I just realized how much we've been through together.
"Um, Lucy?" Natsu asked, I looked away realizing that I was staring at Natsu.
"What?" I asked
"Were you staring at me?" Natsu asked with a smirk on his face, I felt my face heat up.
"Nope." I replied crossing my hands over my chest.
"Why would I?" I added,
Natsu made a face where he looked like he was thinking.
"Hm, I dunno. Maybe you find me attractive?" He asked playfully pushing me, I made fake gagging noises
"Nope, never." I say and added a smirk after a bit, Natsu just laughed.
He titled his head back a little bit,
"You're fun to tease, you know that?"
I stuck out my tongue as a reply.
"You're despicable, you know that?" I mocked Natsu.
He chuckled as a reply. That's when I noticed that we were missing Happy!
"Natsu weres Happy?!" I shouted
"Relax, he's at home. He wanted to think about what he's going to wear on his date."
Oh, that makes sense. I started laughing like crazy.
"What's wrong Lucy?" Natu asked concerned.
"Its just-" I wiped tears off my eyes
"That cat is going to get into a relationship before the both of us ever will."
Natsu paused for a second then started laughing like crazy too. Suddenly he stopped. I looked ahead and realized why,
"Natsu, don't! She'll be angry." I shouted, but Nastu didn't listen-he started running towards Romo.
"Hey there bud." Natsu wrapped an arm around Romo's shoulder, all his friends who he was talking to gave him a look and left. He sent them apologetic looks.
By the time I caught up to Natsu I had to take a break to catch my breath, hes a fast runner.
"Hey Lucy, Natsu. How are you?" He asked
"Fine, thank you. Natsu, let's go." I said trying to push him, but I couldn't.
"Um, are you guys on a date or something? Am I disturbing you?" Romo asked
"Yes, we are." I say the same time Natsu said
"No, were not."
I sighed.
I tried pushing him again, but I failed. I admit defeat. Romo sent me a confused look whilst I sent him an apologetic look.
"So you and Wendy are close, huh?" Natsu asked
I sighed and Romo finally understood what I was trying to do.
"Yeah...why?" Romo asked,
"So, Wendy told me you guys are dating.." Natsu said,
Romo's eye's went wide,
"Is that what she said?" Romo blushed a bit.
Jeez, he's going to embarrass me, Wendy and himself. I shook my head, what is he doing? He know's Wendy will hate this.
"That's what she said," Natsu confirmed,
"Listen Romo you're a good kid, but if you do anything to hurt Wendy-" Natsu lit a fire in his hands and smirked
"You wouldn't like it." He finished.
How could someone mean something so cute yet intimidating at the same at the same time.
At this point Romo was shaking, this is my cue isn't it? I took Natsu and staring pulling him away from Romo.
"Sorry Romo." I say,
Wendy came and starting waving to Romo, once she spotted us she shot a confused look at Natsu.
Natsu started running, knowing Wendy would find out soon. I followed right behind him.
Once we reached a safe distance I sat down next to a tree, panting.
"Natsu! Why'd we have to run that far?!"
He shrugged,
"She can sniff us out. She's a dragon slayer."
Ooh, I forgot about that part...
We continued walking, I spotted the Chime bakery and sighed. I still owe Erza.
"Still owe Erza?" Natsu asked,
"Yup,"
And sighed again,
"Something just always come's up."
Natsu is quiet, I feel a tap on my shoulder.
There was a tall guy with violet eye's, and dark brown hair that almost looked black.
"Hello?" I asked,
"Are you Lucy Heartfillia?"
I paused before saying yes, that's when I regretted answering. They went total fan boy!
"You're so amazing and strong, and you look so much better in person then you do In my magazine's!"
I laughed nervously,
"Thank's?"
Its a stupid reply, yes I know. But, I'm stuck in a awkward conversation. People actually know who I am? Well, other then the guild members's of course. I stopped, I just realized what he said! I'm in magazine!
"Wait, I'm in a magazine?!" I blurted, to which the guy nodded,
"Along with Mira,"
I'm not surprised,
"But you're the prettiest in the magazine."
Natsu did a fake cough, wait what am I doing?! I'm suppose to be hanging with Natsu today.
"I'm sorry, I'm busy at the moment. Can we talk later?" I asked,
"No you won't, you won't be talking with him at all." Natsi said and crossed his arm's. The guy seemed to just realized that Natsu was there the whole time.
"I'm sorry, we're hanging out at the moment . Could we possibly talk later?" I repeat again, earning a scowl from Natsu.
Why is he so upset of the idea of me talking to this person?
"Is he your boyfriend?" The guy asked, I blushed. What type of a question is that?! Well, now that I think of it Natsu wouldn't be a bad boyfriend....Snap out of it Lucy!
"No."
"Then, he can wait."
Natsu looks furious, I don't know what to say expect this guy got some guts.
"Lucy, do you want to go on a date with me? On Thursday? I've liked you for a really long time-"
"Why should she date you?" Natsu asked, with a flame in his hand.
Wow a confession, something I didn't expect. I put my hand on Natsu's shoulder, which made the flame die down. I need to reject the guy, but gently. I don't want to hurt his feelings.
"Sorry, I'm seeing someone." I lied,
The guy slumped,
"You're lying."
I don't say anything, he's right. Natsu grabbed my arm.
"Well, good bye." Natsu says to guy and pushes us away.
I wanted to apologize, but what could I do? What's bothering me is once I searched my memory, I was never in a magazine. They were lying about that. If I was in a magazine I would have millions of copies of it. But how do they know me?
"Um, Lucy?"
I was startled,
"Yeah, what's up Natsu?" I asked,
"I have to go now sorry, gotta make Happy and me dinner before he finds my secret stash of cake's."
Dinner? it's that late?!
"Wait, should you be cooking?" I asked, knowing him he'd burn up the whole of magnolia.
He shrugged,
"Dunno"
I sigh,
"That's not concerning at all."
He hugs me and yells
"Bye Luce!" As he runs off
As Natsu left I saw a fimallier blonde.
"Hey Lucy," Sting says walking up to me.
Maybe Sting knows about this mysterious guy.
"Hey Sting, what's up?"
He pauses,
"Not much."
"Great. Do you want to have dinner?" I say, pointing to the nearby restaurant.
"I have lots to tell you, and something to ask."
He nods
"Sure."
Great, now I'll just ask him at dinner.
